There's a mid credit scene
Check the end of the video 😉
@@JayLeeMedia My bad, I'm slow...
24:50 Christina's concern for Beast is everything lol
Magneto was a child during war war 2. The beginning scene was from post Vietnam war. Thats when they met
Christina, your hair and nails are IMMACULATE. 🤯
Omgosh thank you!! 😊
The scene at the beginning is Vietnam war not World War II.
11:54 ROFLMBO! They did Sinister so wrong, and the way he ran off like a punk! "Naaaah!" 😂😂😂😂
That "Ughhhh" took me out
There's an end-credit scene that you missed!!!
It’s at the end of the video 🙂
@@JayLeeMedia lol i liked that addon--6 and a half hrs later.
Charlatan?!?! “Is it a place”😂. Anyway, there is a post credit scene. All mutants are born.
We watched it. It's at the end of the video. :)
Gambit becomes Apocalypse’s horsemen Death.
And perhaps Wolverine becomes another horseman in exchange the return of his andamantium.
Wolverine is on Cyclops' team because he is Cyclops' right-hand man. Plus, Wolverine can be trusted to take the kill shot if and when it's needed. Yes, it is impractical to take a guy with metal bones to fight a guy who can control metal, but I don't think they expected that Magneto would or could separate the adamantium from Wolverines bones.
Sometimes you got to tell your right hand man he is not needed in this fight.
The flashback is very interesting as I want to say that its set during the Vietnam War thanks to The Byrds - Turn Turn Turn (1965) playing in the background. But according to Magneto he met Charles in a bar in Germany and at 6:23 this does look like a German city thats been through a conflict.
Magneto was also a child during WW2 so im not sure what conflict we're seeing here. Cant recall anything from the 90s series. But I can safey say that the flashback is set between 1965 to 1970s.
Wolverine was a horsemen for Apocalypse in the comics
6:56 A mutual coming out scene. These two are such a bromance.
I'm sorry the oldest mutant is Selene not Sersi (she's an Eternal)
🖖😎👍
"thats not virgo, thats Blockbuster" lmao
Hey yall! I’ve watched all your X-Men ‘97 reactions and I never skipped a second of them! I especially enjoyed your reactions, Christina for having no knowledge of the X-Men and to see you have 2 favorites, which are Gambit and Beast! If you like ‘97 that much, then I would highly recommend for you to watch X-Men the Animated Series! It‘s amazing and it showcases everyone of them and they even have their own centric episodes! You’ll love Gambit and Beast even more with the old series. I even suggest yall look out for X-Ternally Yours, where it talks of Gambit’s background and The Beauty and the Beast, where Beast finds love! I know yall have other shows to binge watch, but trust me, you won’t regret it if you do decide to watch it! Jean even has two sagas about her with the Phoenix Force! First saga is the good and pure. Second is about the Dark Phoenix! It’s a roller coaster, they are! On the majority of Season 3! That’s all I wanted to say! Hope to see yall react to it!❤
Jubilee was the one that managed to break Bastion enough for him to go weak.
Her pyrotechnic at that moment went *inside* of him and exploded within.
First time we seen her powers potential.
@JayLeeMedia, that is why there was that half episode dedicated to Jubilee earlier in the season. It was setting up her performance in the finale.
Potentially setting up her powers advancement to atomic level.
Y'all missed the post credit scene. Which ties everything together with Apocalypse. Past, present and future.
Watch the end of the video 😉
Christina is now an honorary xmen fan yay!
I honestly cannot put into words how phenomenal this finale and, frankly, this entire show have been. This show is the best thing Marvel Studios has given us ever since Endgame! PEAK MARVEL MEDIA!
This show makes the Fox X-Men movies look like amateurs
Bastion honestly became one of my favourite X-Men/Marvel villains after watching this show and this epic finale. Bro, the number of cameos in this series is INSANE! Cyclops and Jean saying goodbye to Cable/Nathan honestly has me in tears🥺.
YO, APOCALYSE IS COMING BACK IN SEASON 2 AND DEFINITELY BRING GAMIT BACK AS HIS HORESMAN OF DEATH, JUST IN THE COMICS! I can imagine how heartbroken Rogue will be when shes forced to fight the man she loves
If they would just do a live action film this bonkers, the MCU would be back on top.
Properties like the X-Men comics have always been diverse and inclusive just by being. But instead of focusing on telling heroic tales with interesting characters they focus on the social and sexual characteristics of the characters. SMDH.
My 😅😅😅 moment of your video "Charlatan? He called him by his proper name?"
I thought he was joking. At first. 😂😂
Charlatan
a person falsely claiming to have a special knowledge or skill; a fraud.
"a self-confessed con artist and charlatan"
His name will forever be “Charlatan Xavier” now 😂
It was so awesome that your queen picked up on it being King TChaka. You guys are awesome!!! It's gonna take a lot to top this season, here's hoping season 2 does it justice.
I discovered your channel with the Xmen series, and I'm so happy I did. It was so much fun watching with you guys.
Looking forward to your next series.🙏🏾
Thank you! We’re glad you’re enjoying the channel. 🙂
Wolverie is Scott's side piece too. Canon baby. No matter how much ya'll fight it.
😂🤣 that is a hilarious image
I think Scott respects Wolverine as a brother in arms and as the go to dirty jobs guy. I’ve seen X-Men comics in which Scott or Storm just tells Wolverine “I need some info Logan. Bring at least one back and do with the rest what you will”
@@technofilejr3401No, he means that in the comics, Logan, Scott and Jean have been in a polyamorous relationship together.
It’s centred on Jean, but Scott and Logan are implied to have been intimate as well.
Just watch the original X-Men cartoon with Christina so she can learn and we can enjoy watching her learn. I know I'm down for it
17:25 gaaaaaaaaaaahdamn lol Charlatan Xavier......lmmfao!!!
26:38, In the comics, Mother Askani is actually Rachel Summers as an old woman. Rachel Summers is Scott and Jean's daughter from the Days of Future Past timeline. She was captured by the government and forced to act as a Hound - a mutant who tracks other mutants. She eventually made it over to the Earth-616 and met the mainstream Scott Summers. For a time she fought alongside the X-Men and grew to consider Scott to be her father. Like her mom Jean, Rachel can be a host for the Phoenix force.
Eventually she was lost in time and wound up here in the far future where baby Nathan landed. When Scott and Jean officially got married (after Madelyn's death), it was Rachel who pulled their minds into this future. There they were given X gene compatible bodies to inhabit. In these bodies they were able to be foster parents to young Nathan for about a decade. He never knew them as Scott and Jean but as "Slym" and "Red". After a time Scott and Jean returned to their present still possessing all of their memories of parenting with only a few minutes having past. Though their time was brief they both cherished being able to raise Nathan
When Nathan as Cable showed up in the late 20th Century, it was well before Scott and Jean's wedding and their trip through time. Upon meeting them and witnessing their powers, he immediately recognized them as "Slym and Red". But they didn't recognize him so he didn't disclose what he knew about them. It was only later when a cataclysmic event was about to take place that Jean and Scott told him who they had been his foster parents "'Slym" and "Red". Cable smiled said "Thank you" and then explained he recognized them the day they met. Just as the world was ending, the Summers family had a big group hug.
Alright, this is the reaction I've been waiting for
i believe charles saw gambit become death in his vision episodes ago
Cyclops always brings Wolverine when he thinks someone needs to die.
🖖😎👍
Yep sic em boy
So many people missed the end credits scene... LOL
We ALMOST did!
👱🏾♀️: "OK . . . he gonna die." If THAT didn't take me out, "Who is Charlatan?" DID 🤣
In episode 9, Umm, Roberto and Rogue went with Magneto, the others came up to the asteroid to fight. They were just defending. And only Logan went there with the intention to kill.
Apocalypse (En Sabah Nur) is a supervillain appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is one of the world's first mutants, and was a principal villain for the original X-Factor team and later the X-Men and related spin-off teams. Created by writer Louise Simonson and artist Jackson Guice, Apocalypse first appeared in X-Factor #5 (June 1986).[3] Apocalypse is one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe where he is the husband of Genesis and the father of the original incarnation of the Horsemen of Apocalypse.
Who do you think was the reason the X-men ended up in different timelines?
I'm guessing it's either Roma or Kang.
In 'Dark Phoenix, Part 4' of the original series, the X-Men battled the Shi'ar for the life of Jean on a hidden area of the moon, but it was established that air exists on that part of the moon. That seems to be where Rogue and Bastion landed. -- Regarding Jubilee and Sunspot being able to breathe in space for their return to earth, your guess is as good as mine.

In the comics, Scott and Jean's consciousness were willed into the future to raise Nathan for 12 years in the bodies of two people called "Slym" and "Redd," though they never told him he was their parents. This happened in the miniseries "The Adventures of Cyclops and Phoenix."
Interesting seems like the writer is pulling from multiple source materials with his own twist.
@@JayLeeMedia Oh heck yeah. This is a selfish smorgasbord of storylines
We dont know where storm, wolverine, Bastian or morph are. They are either in a few places, ancient egypt, the apocoyltic future, the present or in the time axis. Im curious to find out.
4,621 seconds is 77 minutes so about 1 hour and 15 minutes
MVP!
My favorite X-Man, Professor Charlatan Xavier lol
😂🤣 Forever his new name.
And it’s an accurate name too.
The part of the Moon that they're fighting on is the blue area of the Moon which has its own atmosphere and is the home of the Inhumans that's why everybody can breathe in space
The only way that the metal left wolverine as a liquid is if magneto twisted the metal inside of his bones so fast that it melted. Logan wasn't just pierced on the way out, he was cooked from inside before the liquid metal was ripped out. Otherwise it would just be a skeleton shape laying there.
Ending speculation time!!!
Who time-traveled the X-Men?
My bet is on Rama-Tut (Kang the Conqueror)!
He might have extracted the X-Men from their time just so Apocalypse would be triggered. In the comics, Kang traveled back to Egypt and became the Pharaoh Rama-Tut, his goal was to harness the power of Apocalypse before his rise, to control him. But he inadvertently ended up participating in Apocalypse's rise. Maybe Kang is going full time-paradox here, and wants to "create" Apocalypse by confronting him with the X-Men...
But when the X-Men were being hurled through the timestream, Mother Askani sensed her parents and pulled them out. That's why Scott and Jean landed in the far future!
In any case, we'll get to see Apocalypse's beginning in 3000bc, and his reign and end times in 3999. It will be epic!!!
(I'm still hoping we get to see ONSLAUGHT gestate in Charles's psyche in season 2!)
This is where the fun begins!!!! 🙏🏽💪
This is where the fun begins!!!! 👏
Psylocke is mine favorite marvel superheroes & X-Men character ever in my heart along with Black Panther & Spider-Man💙
8:36 These cameos were amazing! 👏
I just started the review, but it was a joy watching the show with y'all! Have you guys watched Invincible on Prime? If not, could that be the next reaction show? If so, no problem! Thanks for sharing!❤
Almost said you guys missed the post-credits, lol!
Maybe check out the OG series as an in-between seasons thing. I bet the Season 2 writing will pull from the OG stuff as well.
Yes, as much as I love this show, there are things I get frustrated they leave out, like pretending Roberto and Rogue didn't defect.
13:30 I honestly think Cyclops was talking about Jubilee's heart right there, not Jean's.
he most definitely was....he wasn't talking about Wolvie living for Jean lol
@@goat1408No I actually believe it was reference to Jean. Scott knows it would devastate Jean if Logan doesn’t make it.
Reading a few other reviews after I believe most believe the same thing. I don’t see how jubilee would be the one he was talking about
@@JayLeeMedia I’m just not seeing why Cyclops would be concerned about Wolverine breaking Jean’s heart. Versus knowing how Jubilee feels about her surrogate dad.
@JayLeeMedia in the comic book Wolverine took Jubilee under his wing like he did Kitty Pryde. But in the 92 series Gambit kinda took on that role
Charles hijacked Magneto mind. Charles uses his powers to get Magneto to turn the power back on in which the human Sentinel are back on as the X-Men Team Yellow is defeated momentarily. We get a brief cameos Black Panther, Iron Man, Cloak and Dagger,Omega Red, Dr. Strange and Daredevi, as well as recurring Captain America and Silver Samurai. As they're about to fight the human Sentinel. I like Cable's line to Bastion "How your mommy Bastion" damn 🤣😂.
Jean coming back as the Phoenix was badass. As well like that they brought the ost from the original X-Men Tas Phoenix theme back. As she stopped Bastion and the human Sentinel. As well stopping Sinister as she stripped away the mutant DNA that he stoled. But Bastion new upgraded design as he takes Cable arm looks badass. Magneto loses his memory. As Charles shattered his psyche. As he must restore it. I love Cyclops' line to Wolverine. "Don't you dare break her heart."Be the best at what you do, heal." As Rogue to Roberto."Hey Romeo! Odds may be bad, but the cards are always in the X-Men's favor.
Team Blue fight Bastion was awesome. And when Rogue punched Bastion, "His name was Gambit, Remember It." was a badass moment. As well as her doing the thunder clap a Hulk move. Roberto calling himself Sunspot. I like that we got an insight into Magneto pain. We get a brief glimpse of Scarlet Witch, Quick Silver, and Polaris. Cyclops had an amazing redemption arc this season. I thought it was interesting to see Cyclops tried to help him. As his last parting words to Nathan as the X-Men plan to sacrifice themselves to save the planet. Like that, we got a brief Peter Parker and Mary Jane. Xavier helped repair Magneto's mind, stopping the asteroid. I love Magneto lives line. Bishop returns to tell Forge the X-Men is stuck in time. Then we get a brief Apocalypse cameo after the end credits. With him at Genosha holding Gambit card mean Gambit will come back to life as one of his 4 horsemen.
This was a fantastic episode. I was never disappointed. Every moment, every scene, every dialogue was so good. I can't wait for season 2. But anyway I hope you two have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care, and stay amazing Jay Lee Media .
23:09 Peter and Mary Jane! From the 90's Spider-Man animated series! 💪
Right? Where the hell was storm?
Changing outfits, scaring horses.
Congratulations you two on getting to 1k subscribers.
Thank you so much!
@@JayLeeMedia You're welcome
I hope they bring my boy iceman back in season 2 and I’d also like to see thunderbird in the theme also
Charlatan will never not be in my brain now.🤣🍻
😂🤣
4621 seconds is 1 hour, 17 minutes and 1 second
Thanks
You guys are hilarious❤😂
Glad to see someone else is super sensitive to caffeine! X-men is worth it tho I promise lol
Apocalypse
The first mutant.
He was born with it.
Maybe it's Mutation-ly
14:55 My woman Rogue! 💪
Tbf if wolverine wasn't there they don't really got the up front muscle for Rogue
I don't like that you keep saying Wolverine is made out of metal. His bones were covered in adamantium, so they were stronger and unable to break.
Okay my guess is strom wolverine and morph are somewhere in the past or will be the other horseman
77 minutes.
Can you show your wife the X-Men movies now? 🙏🏾
As far as I know there is only one mutant older than En Sabah Nur, Sersi
Going to look them up to get more background.
Sersi is an Eternal not a mutant. En Sabah Nur is the first mutant.
@@eingoluq already corrected that in another comment. I meant Selene
@@eingoluqSelene is the oldest mutant. Much older than Apocalypse.
BLUE SIDE OF THE MOON
13:36 😭😂
1 hour 17 minutes 1 second
I can't prove it... but is this a meta joke about the runtime of the season until the attack occurs?
Racist southern united states immigrant Europeans destroyed the word lynch. It used to be like, Lynchpin, which is "Something that is important for holding something up."
I wont explain the rest.
Oh... Post credits scene? No?
End of the video 🙂
Oh OK, I got only to the point you said bye 😅
Charaltan, Noun: a faker, imposter or fraud.
14:34 Yikes! 😂
I'm wondering if we saw King T'Chaka instead of T'Challa because Marvel buried him with Chadwick Boseman 🤔
The first one we saw was T'challa. The one talking to the President was T'chaka. Remember, T'challa had the Black Panther suit while his Dad was alive in the MCU too.
This finale was anticlimactic for me!
I loved the show in general BUT I think it would have been better if it was 20+ episodes
I needed more from my Omegas!
The final fights were...meh
Why couldn't Storm use her powers when she was chatting with Bastian while tied up?
Why couldn't the Phoenix move Asteroid M?
Why did Iron Man choose that day to be diplomatic? Any other day he is the smartest one in the room and goes rogue! He chose his side!
I want next season to be longer and for Wolverine to sit it out!
You're nitpicking like a kid, and you are ungrateful as hell. People like you know nothing about animation. Look how long it takes to make sequels for big studios like Pixar; it takes an average of 5 years to make a sequel, and that's only for a film with a 1-2 hour runtime; this show in total has a runtime of five hours. Animation takes a lot of time; it took the Spiderverse animators three years to animate only Spiderpunk….only him. That's an eye-opener for you, buddy.
There are thousands of drawings for this 30-minute runtime of 10 episodes. The old show had more episodes, but it had a lot of filler episodes, and if a show needs 20+ episodes to tell a story, then the writing and storytelling aren't good. This show had a high budget and told an amazing story in 10 episodes; it didn't need more.
1. The fight was amazing, and the animation on the action scenes is insane. Rogue, and Cyclops action scenes were incredible.
2. Pay attention, so next time you don't make dumb comments. Storm was trying to reach his humanity, not antagonize him more.
3. Jean said the phoenix left her and only helped her there for her son.
4. The show's not about the Avengers; it's only a cameo, so pointless argument.
And next season, if it requires the need to be longer to tell the story they want to tell, it will be longer; if not, it doesn't need to, so stop asking for 20+ episodes; that's not happening, buddy. Like I said, you know nothing about animation and high-budget animated shows like Arcane and Invincible, and now this only has 8-10 episodes. For that exact reason, animation takes a lot of time, and they don't need 20+ episodes to tell a well-written story.
Not animation, but a good example of why more is not better is TWD. The first seasons were shorter and had good writing, but then they started making season way longer, and the writing became a joke in every aspect of filmmaking. So again, more doesn't mean better. I would rather have this amazing season of 10 episodes than 20+ episodes with a lot of mediocre episodes and filler.
I think in terms of waiting more than yes.. it just left us like damn we got too much going on and more story to tell.
@@reynaldolorenzo8409I agree with what you've said. They've been working on this show since 2021 and it is the best adaptation of the X-Men ever. Also, I enjoy not having filler episodes. That means each episode is compacted with relevant story.
@@Lostmonster Exactly. People are so ignorant of animation that they think you can get a high-budget, 20+-episode animated show. It's not happening. And this story didn't need any more episodes; they told the story they wanted to tell perfectly, with amazing pacing and storytelling.
@@reynaldolorenzo8409 I think it could've used a couple more episodes storms story was rushed.
