Fun fact rouge flight and super strength isn’t her mutant powers but she stole them form captain marvel when she was known as ms marvel leaving her commatose
Rogue!!! Her name is Rogue, sugah!
@@ComicPhreak😆 I just caught that they spelled her name "Rouge" like the blush you put on your cheeks ☺️!
Remember Christina, Madelynn left a psychic message for Nathan as a baby prior to handing him to Bishop. You can see it at the end of episode 3.
Ahhh! I forgot about that!
In the Marvel universe, every character superhero know each other. Rogue has been part of the avengers before.
Along with Storm,Beast,of course Wolverine have all been Avengers
Roberto is Brazilian; he and his mother speak Portuguese. In Brazilian Portuguese, the letter "r" is frequently pronounced with an "h" sound -- so the more correct pronunciation of his name is actually "Hoberto"
11:48 Both Wolverine and Captain America served in World War II. Also, the Avengers and X-Men both know Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver since they both are Magento's children and Avengers. Hope this makes sense! 👏
Between Jean Grey and Madelyne Prior, the most powerful is Jean Grey.
The most powerful mutant is Nate Grey, son of Jean Grey.
Among the X-Men of 'X-Men 97', the most powerful mutants are Jean Grey, Storm and Iceman. Magneto may even be a powerful omega-level mutant, but he is far below the three aforementioned X-Men in terms of power level, while the three are tied at the same power level.
Thank you for the explanation! 🙂
Storm and Magneto are both considered Omega class mutants. Jean is considered an Omega class telepathic mutant.
yea finding my people who knows 😭😭
12:00, everyone on this Earth knows who Captain America is. When planetary threats come up Cap is usually the person who leads the way. Cap holds a similar spot in the Marvel Universe zeitgeist that Superman does in the DC Universe.
Fun fact in the comics there is an amazing storyline in Cable met Captain America. Upon meeting Cap, Cable's demeanor softened and he showed Cap the utmost respect in their meeting. Cable then asked to hold Cap's shield. When Cap handed it to him, Cable held it like it was a sacred object but also one that he was familiar with.
Cable then told Cap about his legacy and the future history of the shield in times to come. Though Steve Rogers is a mortal man and will one day die, his name will live on for millennia. Even in the future time (1000s of years from now) that Cable lived through the everyday people still know who Steve Rogers was and the ideals that he stood for as Captain America. Essentially Captain America the man will become a legendary figure like King Arthur and will never be forgotten.
Because the shield is more or less indestructible it will be passed down through future generations to come. For many stretches in future history, the shield will go missing. However, Cable told Steve in times to come whenever men and women stand up to fight for their freedom from tyranny, that shield will appear. The shield will be held by the man or women that fate deemed to be the leader of that fight for freedom.
On the battlefield, whenever the shield is held up, people know that person holding it Is the one to follow into danger. People will come to see the bearer of the shield as someone who though not actually Captain America is fighting in his spirit. Just like the legend of King Arthur who is supposed to one day return in Britain's darkest hour to save it.
Cable then told Cap one last thing - in his many far future battles Cable himself has been one of the bearer of Cap's shield. Upon hearing all of this, Captain America was deeply moved and thanked Cable for telling him.
This was an awesome read. Thank you for the info! 😊
I've been waiting for this since she mentioned Captain America in the last episode lol
No honey! Jean Grey is an Omega level mutant
Another really powerful mutant is Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch. Generally, in Marvel, the most powerful characters are the ones that can re-write reality, and she is one of those.
However they retconned it so she was never a mutant
21:00 Understandable lol. In the opening of the show, you saw Cable fighting a huge individual. That was Apocalypse. He's actually more dangerous than Thanos. He's one of the first mutants that can't die
7:08 His brother, Bobby. And the dressed up girl is his ex-fiance, Belladonna. The girl with the salt n pepper hair is Aurora, member of Alpha Flight and Wolverine's former teammate.
Jean with the Phoenix force is way more powerful than Madelyn Pryor.
Bastion is the villain with a long term plan which covers all aspects of what happened because he knows the future
The writer said they're not doing time travel fixes, heads-up 😐
The original, not the xerox.
Jean is one of the most powerful in Marvel overall. Look up Molecule Man or Franklin Richards.
I FORGOT CVS used to have comics, mind blowing!
I’ve been into X-Men since I was a kid (41 now) and it’s been enjoyable watching Christina go from “what is this” to truly becoming a bit of a fan herself.
Christina here 👋🏽 I really am enjoying this show. And we’re both so glad that you’re enjoying the reactions. 🙂
LMAO that worn out thor looking character was bobby LeBeau gambit's brother from back home
In the original series, the brunette human woman on the council, Moira Mactaggert, had a powerful mutant son with reality-warping skills. Super dangerous even as a teen. He tore Wolverine to pieces, liquified him, and left him crying. The next time Wolverine tried to face him, he ran away in fear. His name is Proteus.
It’s age of apocalypse. A storyline where Xavier’s incredibly powerful son ,David Haller went back in time to kill magneto but accidentally killed his own father and erased himself. Leaving the world without X men when apocalypse came. It got bad.
Franklin Richards is the most powerful mutant
Rogue started as a villain in the comics and the show. One of the first things she did after taking Captain Marvel’s powers, was take down the Avengers. Including Cap and Thor. So most heroes and government officials know Rogue.
Oh, YEAH 🫨! I 4got Rogue wiped the floor with the AVENGERS --- including Capt. AMERICA --- when she 1st stole Ms. Marvel's 🦸🏼♀️ powers! That's why Capt. ain't do nothin' but grit his teeth when Rogue through his shield 🛡 into the mountains 🏔 . He STILL remembers what that GOOD ass-whoopin' 🙅🏼♂️💥🤛🏼 feels like 🤣!
Most powerful mutant is possibly Nate Grey... who is basically Cable from the Age of Apocalypse timeline and doesn't have the techno virus.
My mom didn't throw away my comic books but she lent them to my cousin when I was out of the country, and they got damaged. I have so many collectors items comics that would be worth thousands if not for what she did.
Gambit was born Omega,he had sinister remove a piece of his brain so he would lower his power ...new son who is an alternate Gambit is a universe destroyer,he travels back in time and has sinister in do the surgery and kicks his alternate self's ass....gambit gets slept on most folks don't realize he nerfed himself ....that's gangster...
Gambit was a powerful mutant before asking Sinister to help him control his power and being subjected to Sinister's experiment, but he was never an omega-level mutant...
Being an omega-level mutant means being a very powerful mutant of a certain power category and your powers and abilities are limitless and cannot be surpassed by anyone who has the same or similar powers.
Gambit was powerful, but he did not control his powers and had limits that could be easily overcome by other mutants who can also control energy, making him an alpha-level mutant.
Apocalypse is the most powerful mutant dears! He's been shown in the intro fighting Cable!
I think Cable would be the most powerful mutant if he wasn't infected with the techno-organic virus
They did this in the comics. In the Age of Apocalypse timeline, sinister made Nate Grey, the son of Scott Summer and Jean Grey. He would find his way to the real timeline and took the name X-Man. He was absolutely an Omega Level mutant.
Your wife's reactions are FUN-NY 😅!
Jean Grey is stronger than. Madeline because she has access to the Phoenix Force.
YES. Madeleine MAY be stronger than Jean on a regular basis cuz Mr. Sinister gave her upgrades genetically when he cloned her, but when Jean does have access to the Phoenix 🦅🔥 Force, it's A WRAP 💥👏🏿 for Madeleine --- and anyone else for THAT matter!
Captain America also showed up in the original X-Men animated series episode "Old Soldiers," one of the last few episodes where the animation was much more simplified. He teamed up with Wolverine to take out the Red Skull during World War II. That episode was written by the late Len Wein, who was responsible for reviving the X-Men comic series in the late 70s before handing it over to Chris Claremont, who would go on the write it the next 17 years!
I agree. Justice for Gambit!! 🃏
You were thinking about Age of Apocalypse, an alternate timeline where Xavier died before he and Magneto split. Gambit was in that, and was actually pretty powerful.
Cap, Carol Danvers, and Spiderman all made an appearance in the Original Series.
Well, only Spider-Mans Hand made an appearance in TAS. 😉
@@jaynecobb8356 right. Yes, the X-Men appeared in the Spiderman animated series and only his hand was in the Original. I have not seen that episode yet.
In the show... Storm, Magneto or Jean are most powerful. In the comics Legion would be the most powerful mutant.
This is where the fun begins! 💪
It's probably Franklin Richards he can warp reality at will
The blond man is Gambit brother, Abelia the lady that turn to dust have survivor gilt and inte impotent to show that things like this have long lasting effect on those how survived tragic event like this.
DUUUUUDE....I have been waiting for your reactions. I really wanted to see Christina's reaction to this.
Ok, so for the Thor look like u mentioned, he’s Gambit’s brother and he’s from the thieves guild where he took Gambit in as a thief and the blonde girl next to him was his ex-fiancée.
2:50, Storm can control the weather on a planetary scale.
But mutants like Franklin Richards or Mad Jim Jaspers can alter reality itself at will. Against them Storm, Magneto and Jean would get clapped within seconds.
3:45 After Xavier: The Age of Apocalypse..... remember it like it was yesterday...1995... wasn't future.....alternate timeline that was triggered when Legion (son of Charles) went back in time to kill Magneto but Charles saved Magneto, thus triggering a future where Xavier never brought the X-Men together....Magneto, wanting to honor his friend began his version of the X-Men but due to certain things not happening triggered Apocalypse's takeover of the continental U.S....thus beginning the Age of Apocalypse....the only person knowing that the future had been changed was a time-displaced Bishop. He was one of the X-Men who went back to stop Legion and was the only one who remained since he was already from a distant alternate future. The 90s X-Men (in real life) was PEAK!
I feel you though.....I had two boxes full of comics....lost one when I lost my storage....and that one had the majority of my X-Men comics in it. Gambit during AoA had his own comic, Gambit and The X-ternals (X-Force.....all the X-books were changed during this alternate storyline).
Guys, the blonde guy who look like Thor is actually Gambit's brother from the old show I can't remember his name.
And Cable being mad at Cyclops could maybe because he feels abandoned by his dad and only had his mother's memories and her speech in his head when he went to the future. It explains why he loves his mom so much.
And also Captain America was in the old show too and Rogue knew him from that alongside with Spiderman and even flerts with him when first saw him for some reason haha.
In this episode we saw Dr. Doom as well who was working with Bastion and he is one of the worst enemies of The Fantastic Four. Zemo was also there in the monitors.
At last, Mr. Sinister was human who lived in the 1800s since then he was obsessed with the mutant genes and done experiments to enhance himself and Jean and Cyclops are his most powerful and perfect mutants he consider to make a new one more evolved and invincible to use against mutants and he succeed, kinda did but instead of that Cable was born (Nathan)
There is even comics that depicted the battle between the X-Men vs The Avengers and was kinda like Civil War. In the end both teams worked together to fight against a worse enemy I can't remember. There will be probably a live action adaptation in the MCU of that comic too in the future.
those randoms at the funeral are the thieves guild, a group gambit was a part of
No, not all of them are from the thieves guild. Only Bobby (Remys Brother, the blond one) and Pierre (the dude with the white/Grey hair). Belladonna (the blonde woman) is Gambit's Ex-Wife from the assassin's guild. The other woman is Aurora from the Canadian superhero team Alpha Flight and the twin sister of Northstar.
@@jaynecobb8356 ah I didn't pay attention to them, nice catch
The guy in the purple shaving Magneto is Bastion
FYI, Jubilee is actually one of the most powerful mutants. She just doesn't use the full potential of her power.
Also, in case no one else mentioned, the books you were referring to was the Age of Apocalypse mini series. Wolverine had one hand and Cyclops had one eye (guess how that happened).
🖖😎👍
Because of the Phoenix force, Jean Grey is the most powerful mutant in the series. However, Hope Summers is the most powerful mutant that I know of. They call her the mutant messiah.
🖖😎👍
Jean and Madeline ARE THE SAME PEOPLE! Madeline is a clone! What do you mean who's more powerful?
Cable without the techno virus!
4:37, you are thinking of the Age of Apocalypse storyline where Wolverine had a stump for a hand.
THE most powerful mutant would be Apocalipse
This was a great episode. A sad and dark episode with a sad start to Gambit funeral. With Nightcrawler giving a wonderful eulogy. Nightcrawler is concerned for Rogue Rogue attacking a government facility in which was a badass moment as she searched for Henry Gyrich and Bolivar Trask. I never forget a line Wolverine stated in the original show when he told Gambit the last thing you ever won't to do is make that woman mad (Rogue) in which we got a demonstration of it in this episode.
The president refusing to help the X-Men and mutants is making me think Cyclops is gonna take Magneto route in dealing with this issue. Which we are gonna see a different side of Cyclops. I'm starting to agree with everyone in TH-cam comments that Val Cooper is Mystique.
It is just sad seeing the Aftermath of Genosha with so many mutants injured as the X-Men helps out. As we get a memorial for the fallen mutants. I never expect to see Captain America making an appearance in the show. It nice to see Scott and Jean talking as they find Emma Frost alive, who's able to learn a new ability to turn diamond. Man, I feel bad for Cyclops for losing Madelyne Pryor, his son's mother, in the tragedy. Ever since episode 2. He had never caught a break.
It is nice to see that Roberto parents know already knew the truth that he's a mutant and accept him. Even tho him being one must be kept secret from shareholders. I'm happy that Nightcrawler and the X-Men are there to help Rogue through this difficult time. The mysterious figure kills Gyrich. Rogue killing Trask was shocking only for Trask being killed, mutated into a new updated which is called a prime Sentinel. The fight between X-Men and Sentinel Prime Trask was intense. Now Cable comes back to warn the X-Men that Mr. Sinister isn't the true mastermind it someone else. I like the 92 reference from the original show. And now it revealed that Magneto is alive. The mysterious figure shaving him was very creepy. These episodes just keep getting better as we go further into the season. It leaves you wanting more. I hope you two have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing Jay Lee Media.
It's nice to see someone new to it all get swept up in it. I suggest after 97 wraps, go back and watch 92.
Jean is more powerful bec she also has the Phoenix force
Oh PS Wolverine and storm got married this was after forge but storm also married Coachella the Black Panther and I don't feel too bad for Wolverine 19 kids
11:36 Cyclops Concussive Force would wear Captain America down.
Age of Apocalypse is the comic you're referring to I think. Lost his hand in a fight with Cyclops, Cyclops ended up losing an eye.
The comic book s you are referring g ti were set in an alternate world called “Age of Apocalypse “. Gambit was in it. Rogue had a relations eorh both but wound up choosing Magneto and sticking with him.
15:30 Yikes! 😂
most powerful IN the showis jean storm and magneto...apocalypse if you count the whole show takes it.
They know each other dear because at one time or another X-men have been Avengers before, and Vice Versa!
Also Jay, you are talking about the Age of Apocalypse storyline, it's a classic storyline.
Rogue is the madness, but Orono is gonna lose her shit as well.
Yes. Storm brought Gambit into the X-Men.
Apocalypse or Legion might be the most powerful...its hard to say. There's been so many over the years.
Funny, i was never a Gambit fan until the last episode.
Yeah Does people at his family were his brothers I think am right guys hope so😅
Gambit old team, they are his brother and ex wife I believe, pluse some other comic books relevant characters that pertain to Gambit.

12:53 Professor X and Magneto were based on Luther King Jr. and Malcom X!
Stan Lee confirmed years ago that it's not, although the similarities are undeniable
You don’t have to loom everything up just let the show play it and it’ll explain to you
Tim Mahloy was the most powerful mutant. look him up it's a crazy story.
id probably say jean grey might be the strongest
if this was my wife we'd be doing something else besides warching tv 😂...
Like doing laundry 🧺 or running erands you know other stuff
😂🤣😂
Does your wife know how Rogue got her powers?
Hi I'm new to your Channel I hate the thumbs up gave you a like I'm happy that you're watching the X-Men I can help you out yes rogue and Magneto anything going on because Magneto had two children Quicksilver and Scarlet witch they are making those kids look at rogue hair it's white and red butt and another timeline gambit.
