Here I am 2 years later dealing with the same Allen screws being too short 🤦🏽 it’s insane that they haven’t even tried to change over to some that are long enough
Looks very good!!! Bro I hope you make all your $$ back, because you continue to pour 💴 into.. I love my 2004 STI and wouldn’t trade it for the world!! But yours is tastefully done 👏🏼 👊🏼
Looks great man. Nice accents without going over the top. I have a the same car in wrb and thought about adding more cherry blossom red but it might look tacky.
That came with it on the VIS hood. Stock hood does not have a grill/mesh so I don't think I'll be adding anything. I almost took it out of the VIS hood for a cleaner look.
Just ordered one and used your code! Thanks! I ordered 2 from eBay over the summer and the 1st came damaged and was returned. Second one was total garbage the carbon was lifting from what ever was underneath and was all wavy. Sent that one back? Hopefully 3rd time is the charm with this one.
@@Autofreakgarage I couldn’t tell from the video. The only bolt type I know is M6 lol. I had to pick some of those up at Home Depot to mod the wing on my ST. I’ll just take the bolts to HD and ask someone for a longer version.
I just ordered one of these from WRX Daily last week. I haven’t heard anything from them or received any shipping info. How long did yours take to ship?
Kinda off topic, but Do you know of any products that will get rid of some fade on rubber seals and car trim ( mainly on the exterior of the doors...if that makes sense.)
Love your subie and how you take care of your subie. Been watching your videos and i love watching your super shiny subie.Off topic question bro, can i run my STI on 0 camber. I was advised by my mechanic it is not safe to ride 0 camber allignment. Thank you in advance.
Did not need to drill anything. All the holes line up perfectly. Make sure the top of the scoop is wrapped around the hood and no on top of it. It slides into it.

Prefer carbon hood, but that also looks super clean bro congrats on ur build cleanest sti seen by far
Looks great. I'm glad you didn't go with the oversized hood scoop that they sell. Looks ridiculous. And that's just my opinion of course.
Making me buy all kinds of stuff LOL had to grab this too. Thank you for the discount code
I like the OEM style you have. But I also like the OLM A1 aggressive carbon fiber.Do you think the A1 is too much?
Wonder if Titanium Works would do the hardware on my APR wing, I feel like the titanium and carbon would look really good together 🤔
Yes, he has a hardware kit for that wing. He can supply hardware for just about every bolt on the car haha.
@@Autofreakgarage ohhhhh man, gonna have to pick it up!
Looks clean 🔥 we need a car walk around!

They are on backorder for this part because of your awesome video lol. Still waiting on mine
Looks great, does this mean you are keeping the car now? I may have missed it in your recent videos.
Looks good. Hopefully they see this video and include the correct hardware for anyone buying it.
Already spoke to them and they will resolve 👍🏻

I've seen you could cover up the vent with a mesh piece like the carbon hood, I think that would be a really nice touch!

You’ll be very happy with this one!
Oh and I have a 2019 lapis blue sti too.
@@21notyou21 You get the new one yet? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger too.
I knew your Suby-conscience would guilt you into remaining with the scoob. :D lol
What size bolt do you recommend? I’ll pick some up at Home Depot before my scoop arrives Wednesday.
I showed the size difference in the video. Not sure of exact size, but the clip should give you an idea.

Mine shipped quickly. They were out of stock for a bit so I’m sure you’ll receive something soon.
I got a response from them and they arrive in a couple of days! Can’t wait, it will look sick w/ my new bronze BBS 19’s 😎
Kinda off topic, but Do you know of any products that will get rid of some fade on rubber seals and car trim ( mainly on the exterior of the doors...if that makes sense.)
You'll need to do a deep clean on them to remove any contaminants and then coat them with a trim coating to bring them back.
So are you selling the sti or keeping it?🤔
Just bought mine from this video and they still sent wrong bolts 😔
I know you detailed in the past, what would you do for bugs splats been having them for months and they don’t even budge coming out any tips ?
Soak with soap of your choice and let soften. Then just use a clay bar or auto scrub sponge.
I preefer the oem

Thanks for the kind words and support! You can, but it wouldn't handle well at all. I wouldn't recommend running 0 all around.
@@Autofreakgarage thank you bro, appreciate your quick reply. Keep safe and hopefully more videos to come. I support you bro. I’m from Philippines.
did they updated the screws to reach? planning on getting this. 4:30
Im not sure if they made any hardware changes since I got mine.
@@Autofreakgarage ok thanks for always replying even on old videos 🙏
Did you have to drill holes? I just got mine and it doesn't look like the holes are going to line up qith anything

Would it fit the 2018 premium not STI
Yes, Wrx and STI share the same hood.
what size bolt did you get for the hood scoop?
It’s been quite a while. Don’t remember what I used. Just found some that fit in my bolt bin.
@@Autofreakgarage oh ok thanks just try save myself sometime that all
why not the oversized hoodschoop?
Not a fan of it at all. Too much imho.
Will one of these fit my 2008 STI??
It will not. The gr’s have a different hood and scoop shape.
Bummer. Thanks for the response
Not happy with mine at all. Feel like the rushed production and did not QC fitment. Very Disappointing
Lol the older you get the smarter you get
