Undercover storage tool boxes installed in my tundra. Quick thoughts and walk through to install

The undercover tool boxes offer a simple storage solution for trucks needing storage. They mount simply enough and curve with the wheel well. Granted it’s not more storage than a traditional toolbox. It does add to the truck while keeping it minimal.

Those hooks, are called tie Downs. You need them for hauling stuff. Look a little on small side? My boots ride in bed. They stink.. lol

Do these boxes block the bed lights on the inside towards the back top corners?

Did you have to drill into your bed? I’m not too hot about it honestly thinking long term here since these trucks last forever

this newer model has self-tapping bolts. No taillight removal required. Older models had you take out tailight and such..

I have a factory-installed spray on bed liner. How do I install it on my truck?

Mine had the bed liner as well. Should be some holes near the gate

Do they still swing out with the lock installed?

No. If you have them locked they don’t move. Also if they are not locked out hey still don’t move because there is a latch that holds them
