    Well done video. New Subscriber.
    A couple of thoughts... The high beam leveling light switch is also great for folks in rural areas with prolific deer populations. Being able to throw your high-beams a little further down the road can be a life saver for you and the deer! - I find the auto high beam dimming switch to be far less of a good idea. It will automatically turn your high-beams off when approaching reflective highways signs thinking it's an approaching vehicle. This happens especially in rural areas and is generally a pain in the butt.

    Hey Rob, love your channel, I find out more information on my 2015 Tundra, and this video was something I had always wondered why I had these switches. Since the dealership didn't know (Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Fiat) didn't know squat about these switches. Anyway, can you elaborate on that button on the lower right of the panel; the one that shows a car swerving?

    • @RobMotive
      @RobMotive  5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hello good sir! Well this time last year I was homeless and today in the matter of an hour I will be driving my Rent-A-Car to acquire and drive away in my first-ever not only pick up truck but my Toyota 2013 Tundra!... brother I can't tell you like when I saw the photos and you know how guy like with I don't have good credit but I have some cash to put down so yeah yeah yeah a range of what you want or can afford and then your little a little .. and my knowledge trucks were in cars and in general is very very very limited and it's somewhat superficial I'm not going to lie.. I narrowed it down to a Ford 150 or the tundra.. and then 150 Solar way and it was just Tundra but given the tire size and some have list some have after market lifts more than others with the different bodies and Etc. When I saw the photographs online I didn't hesitate to reach out and express my interest I'm in New Jersey and service dealer videos by hour and 40 minutes away but I made the track up there and brother Gwen ight tell you the only thing I can equate the feeling I had when I laid eyes on the 2013 was how I feel when like I met a girl that I fell in love with or was just smoking hot there's no other way I can give Justice to buy I was blown away by completely are when you're not interested in the same car you don't really pay much mind you would but when you start really liking them you but anyway I just stumble on your site right now and I want to thank you I can't wait to enjoy all your programs thank you for taking all the time and effort into him and I'm really grateful it's it's it's a monumental thing for me with the freedom just a feeling of it any when I got in the truck that was really I mean I was already hooked but I'm a pretty big guy and I'm sure you know you can testify better than anyone the body the Baltic Sea cabin side I love it so much because I am notorious I'm going to help us with her and I was like I'm still in shock I'm almost scared to drive it off the lot anyway great work sir

    I believe those 2 spots under the arm rest were designed to store the bed lock key. At least that’s how it is on the Tacoma. That’s why most pens don’t actually fit well there.

    • @RobMotive
      @RobMotive  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm..What is a bed lock key? I’ve not heard of it?

    • @gs98999
      @gs98999 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, Tacoma has the push start and smart key. But it doesn’t come with power tail gate lock. So they give you this separate key for the bed. That spot you showed fits that key perfectly. I’ve tried jamming pens in there but they don’t fit haha. I guess tundra ignition key doubles as tailgate lock key.

      Depending on how you drive I’ve gotten anywhere from 9 mpg (off-road and towing) 13 mpg (city) 18 mpg (highway). The city number can fluctuate a lot (+-3mpg) depending on traffic, lights, and distance.
      Compared to other trucks this mileage is maybe 10% - 15% less efficient at its worst.
      However, if you consider the money you will save in rentals, repairs, and your personal time- then the Tundra ends up being cheaper!
      My range meter usually show 425 miles on a full tank.

    Very interesting video that covers nifty features in the Tundra line. :-) Room for Improvement: I think he could have edited the film; e.g., he does "take 2" without removing "take 1", and he could have shortened (tightened) the presentation with a scrip (or if he had one a better written script). Search for some of the manuals on script writing.
    One thing that popped into my mind was that presenters of 'how-tos" and "gotchas" should make a PDF file that folks can download (maybe at a small price via PayPal?).

    • @RobMotive
      @RobMotive  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      None of his videos are scripted. He does this to maintain authenticity and a first impressions view versus a rehearsed edited presentation. His videos represent a real owner’s perspective instead of a crafted production.
