Negative. It all seems pretty quiet. I would suppose it also matters what you put in there and what other stuff you have in your bed.

I have a 2013 F-250 with a sprayed-on bed liner. Will this create any unique problems or will the tool box mount normally?

Any issues with clearance when towing the fifth wheel? That was my only concern before purchasing one of these.

Good to go with a fifthwheel hitch. No clearance issues at all. This case remains installed when we tow our fifth wheels. Please keep in mind that we have a 6.75 ft box and not a 5.5 ft which may cause clearance issues.

does the cover lock at the rear side rails with latches? i have a tonno pro so was wondering if this would clear the latches

It will depends on the latching system. If your tonno pro has the Spring loaded handle(the 4 to 5 inch handle that you pull down) that latches it will not fit. If it has the type the that you lock into place and turn the handle 45 degrees (the handle is horizontal and not vertical) than you'll be good. This swing box only gives you a few inches of clearance above it. But it works with the tonno cover on the truck.

I have the pull down latches and it works fine. You just have to have the cover latch on and then latch the swing case. Only problem is that you need to unlatch the swing case before you can open the tonneau cover. But it will work.

@@268Brookland Oh OK I never thought of that. So the latch will fit behind the swing case, interesting . I think I can probably live with that. I’m honestly not opening my bed cover a whole lot anyhow. thx for the info

@@fishman80 yessir. It’ll work just fine. When you want to latch and unlatch your cover you have to unlatch the swing case.

I dont think removing the bedliner rear piece is needed, if anthing, the bracket will hold it to the bedwall better like how its out of the top of the top cap piece that should be covering the top edge of the bedliner. And @13:40 you can see the cut part of the bedliner sticking out more than if it was held tight against the rear bracket.

It is a niche item for sure. You can hold some stuff for sure but it deffinately isn't for everyone.

You didn’t need to cut bedliner swing case says ok to install over bed liner you made it to hard for sometime easy!

Hey there! For our application we needed to because we have the fifth wheel hitch in there which messed with the orientation of the bed liner when we installed it, preventing us from closing the swing case. In a truck without the fifth wheel hitch/a good bed liner you should be okay to install over the bed liner.
