Do you think slicing could become a thing again with addition of armor crafting or do you think it’s still too nerfed damage wise
Look into the Lucent Nargacuga LBG for rapid pierce 2. Looks like a contender with 340 raw gives the Malzeno one a run for it's money

I'm a casual when it comes to the gunners but i fell more in love with them around MH3U with kelbi bow in tri. I mostly play lance and hammer but i watch and enjoy hearing your inputs on skills and LBG and HBG (moslty LBG) to help me understand it more and not to become the next best speedrunner. love the videos and keep up the good work! Thanks man. I was cracking my head on how to sneak in the sneak attack skin. Also to add if we cant sneak in skils we can also increase the slot level on the armor pieces. My sinister grudge tassets now has 4-4-1 slots. Hehhe

Need to do something with my build. I’m mostly getting 10-13 dmg on weak spots depending on monster. Awesome vid like always
Managed to roll Max Might 1 on the Wroggi Helm, so that thing is actually perfect for RFP2. With that I was able to add Chain Crit 1 and Mail of Hellfire to my build. I opted to not go for Sneak Attack
Edit: Whelp there goes all my luck for the rest of the year. Just rolled WEX on the Barioth Mail.

Been waiting for this video. i looked at the stats on the Lucent gun and immediately knew its no bueno if you cant walk and shoot. i figured you would come up with something given all the new skills though i did add the rampage slot to my Malzeno gun. you can add skills with the Qurio crafting but you cant fix shooting with your feet stuck in cement. What were they thinking? LBG is all about mobility especially with some of these builds (hmmm dereliction builds) you're a "one shot" glass cannon. i can live with less damage but i cant live with being the guy that carts and fails the hunt haha (yeah like that NEVER happens ).
Great build going to try it tonight! Have a 3,2, Talisman with 2 slugger and 3 part-breaker should make for a fun build.

@@gillandalearts3041 Wish I could share this is one. I still use this talisman from RISE. Haven't had much luck with qurios crafting yet it dose a better job of taking away more then giving so far.
Shooting while moving is so good, I'm kinda glad the gold rathian hbg solved that issue and got some nice deco slots.
I will most definitely be using this build as a template for my LBG. Now to wait for elemental bow builds to be updated. (Since I am a Bow and LBG main.) I know spread is standard for max DPS but for bow I still like pierce and rapid better.

Hey Ang! Loving all of ur videos! Just a thing i tried and noticed but not sure if it's proven or anything, about steadiness lv3, you say, and I also thought that gave the same effect of ballistic lv1, but i randomly stumbled upon the fact that it doesn't, at least seems so. Basically i think, that steadiness lv3 don't improve critical range distance (orange scope) like ballistic does, but slightly increase the general distance you can shoot and hit the target from (pushes the "out of range" distance a bit), critical range remaining the same.
As someone who has never touched a bowgun or any ranged weapon in a monster hunter game I have no idea what’s going on but It looks cool!
its pretty easy to use as it is mostly a point and click weapon, good for when you're lazy to farm that particular monster.

why are people complaining on seeing rf2 spammers on randoms. they're the safest randos you can get.

Idk about safest. A lot of gunner builds get one shot by moves in the afflicted hunts.
They dont enough dmg in party. Since they're gunning already might as well go with elemental pierce does double the dmg per tick. Just felt they're lazy and just using the regular for all monsters.

i was a firm believer of you first rf2 build but i tried augmenting the barioth mail like you said for shits and giggles.

Also, what do you think on Evade Extender 1 vs Evade Extend 2? Current Malzeno set can only include Evade Extender 1 unless I drop 1 level of Steadiness, which is non-negotiable for me.
Or Redirection? Set can include 1 point of Redirection, but feels like I could try Lv2 for perfect dodging.
I think I can handle shooting in place thanks to my narga lbg in GU, tho still an adjustment to the faster pace combat

Personally, I would just use the gold pants over the narga and sneak in full defiance for the "I don't care" sets and keep shooting.
They kill my dream of slicing with Lucent lbg
I actually really like the lucent narga lbg. Not only because of its cool colours, but also because i love to use the counter with it, since u cant move while shooting its best to use it there to avoid an attack. And you get enough distance to have critical distance for ammo (if you use silencer)
Edit: i just got super lucky with the barioth chest and Diablos arms augmentation. Got full Max might, +1 steadiness AND a deco 1 Slot. Dont know what to do with those extra skills now lol. Was able to get evade extender 3 with this

I'm still waiting if you have any genius idea about the status gun build because I'm just stuck with Cameleos. The gun is suck in MR because I can't move, and I don't like auto-reload sticky, sure I can just use a charge build setup that can do 350-400 dmg but if I make the same build with nonauto reload, it will outperform it.
I kinda want a gun where I can control the monster like when I want to put it to sleep, paralysis, and stun.
Is it worth trying to sneak in critical eye into this? Sorry if it’s a dumb question. I’m not very good at this game yet

how important is 100% affinity anyway? would 70% be actually consistent enough and instead of bending over backwards for the remaining 30, we should slot in more damage boosting stuff?

Do your damage while others can’t, do you think this multiplayer based build will make the hunt quicker ?
it's up to the hunter that uses the build.
If you're aiming to speed up the hunt. Use single pierce element LBG. Rapid fire ele pierce and raw pierce just cant compare.

@@AIKnowYou rapid fire pierce x 0.5 of the dmg per shot. Even though you shoot twice per shot but it's actually only worth a single shot. So if the monster tend to move around you miss a couple a shot thus losing dmg.
@@indiegameshark2520 but you shoot 3 shots with rfp so its 1.5x dmg overall right? You also get a boost from the rf skill and use up less ammo making it just better in every way compared to single shot.

Depends on weapon choice I prefer nargcuga gun because it can also use para and slice ammo but if you like full mobility when reloading then malzeno and lucent if you don’t mind standing still. To me I always use regular narcuga gun

I don't really see the point, now, in advertising these no talisman builds when your basically giving a build that requires you to get all the way to the endgame Qurios crafting. If you can get that rampage slot upgrade, you should have at least a talisman that's worth 4 tier 2 slot skills.
Then use his previous build in previous videos. He have starting set, mid game set, and end game set for non/3-2-1 talisman build.
The point of this video is keeping up with the current content and meta without using God talisman or over the top RNG based build.
Most of his build are achieveable with minor tweaking, maybe with negligible digit loss on actual number scrunch if your current set are not optimized.
