@@tommo9176 LBG is top, top tier, only behind bow and HBG in sunbreak, it's so strong lmao
With recoil lvl 3 P.Mal can actually use critical fire power with long barrel which the other guns cannot which is a big boost and with the insane clip size with spare shot having fast reload really isn't to bad. I'm loving it.

@@SpaykuMH Yeah but it has a big enough slot for a racism deco naturally unlike Vigil. I honestly think with this information it could even out the tier placement, sure it doesn’t have the fastest reload but I remember even in MHW when we had the honey hunter damage calculator having and extra shot does boost your dps. It wouldn’t surprise me if someone actually mathed everything out and all 3 ended up extremely close even with fast reload. And critical fire power is +10% to pierce damage. Would love for @LordViettner to test this again.
Can you have fast reload with Primo Mal LBG with CFP and long barrel equipped? How's mine on above avg. 😢

I think it's good to still show armor sets for the less imaginative or even just a a base line to work with for people. You can both the skill list and the armor set since it's just briefly showing what is equipped. Only takes a moment. Though it's up to you what you want to do end of the day. Also if you are into that commenters can share ideas to play off of what you already have
Well said i would appreciate a set that makes it possible i can work with augmenting myself but i never used a bowgun in rise before so i have no idea what is wherer to find. Some skills are rare in the augment funktion and some not available so you have to use a good talisman or the right set and if the set is given it makes everything else easy
clip size affects dps massively
chaos gores biggest downside is with its small clip means even with fastest reload you lose a lot of dps reloading.
if you go for 7 shots on primezeno, plus spare shot, the huge reduction in reloading time means it outdamages the other two lbgs, at least on my testing on the training dummy, even though its attack is slightly lower
also with the possibility of using primezenos blood awakening, the primezeno lbg will heal faster which means getting to the +40 raw faster. that with mail of hellfire and attack up 7 is a huge damage boost
Im actually convinced its by far the best raw lbg and possibly the only really worthwhile primezeno weapon, except maybe the bow if youre doing speedruns on gaismagorm
The CB is actually nutty, the LS is the best Dragon one, and the lance is pretty good too, tbh. A lot of the weapons if they lean on element are really solid.

well time to strap it on and go farming. i'm sure you'll have videos on the HBG because i think the Pierce 3 you can walk and shoot and also reload walking and a big clip (7 i think). i have not looked yet at reload and deviation but with all those slots it should be easy to slot in Steadiness at level 3. I'm definitely going to build out the RF pierce 2 LBG and compare it to the top three like you did. Plus the armor is awesome looking. thanks!
yes! the HBG looks good to, I'm going to look at it tonight and see if it's good or if it has recoil/reload problems. The armor is so good looking, I've already got a layered set with the chest and arms in it xD

burst 1 should be in B tier at the very least, if not A tier because of how easy it is to proc for the bonus it gives. Very slot efficient for damage over many of the others in B or A tier
why not burst 2 or 3 though? not cost efficent?
I've been using the lucent nargacuga LBG since it's release as I really highly value slicing ammo for tail cuts, and do not mind being stationary while shooting because I'm pretty onto it with positioning and dodging. so this is the first LBG in a while that's a contender. The only real downside is the slower speed and reload times that need me to invest more decos to mitigate, but I'm working on building a set that will make it feel as nice to use as lucent 😁
Personally I try to get peak performance 3 for extra 20 raw even if I do run bloodlust since RF P2 cures it so quickly
Would there be any chance of a HBG build utilizing prime malzeno gear? Be nice to find a good gunner build using good dps and life steal.

I really like this video! Most builds are like “you NEED this armor, talismans, decos, etc.” Like you said in your video, everyone will use different armor. I’ve gotten the same results as those “need this exact setup,” people.
I have my "perfect build" in tu4 and I m using that! Not that much fot my LBG with this bonus or tu5!
yeah not a lot of improvement, unfortunately, kinda mediocre side-grades across the board from this update
Primo lbg IS the best, you can’t ignore 3x lv 4 slots and a lv 3 rampage plus 6 shots of RF2 (7 when augmented) who cares for fastest reload when on average you’re firing 10 times before reloading. I just incorporated this LBG into my berserk build and NOTHING comes close to it (I’m looking at you resentment lv 5) 🤣
Btw: ballistics lv3 only uses one level 4 slot which with this gun and new armor pieces there’s plenty of.

dude, I thought you were going to do the slacing ammo build, you start playing with pierce 2 what happens to you?
slicing doesn't do enough damage and you can't carry enough to kill late game afflicted monsters, it's a nice backup ammo for sure but going purely for slicing here is kind of wasted IMO. you'll run out of slicing ammo and slashberries after like 3 afflicted monsters and have to restock way too often for it to be truly worth it for me
@@LordViettner Dude, slicing ammo has the highest part breaker modifier out of all ammo types (1.4), it'll trigger bloodrite and blood awakenig asap, cmeon try it!
@@LateralKiki it's a good secondary ammo, not good for full hunts tho
