    Mam I am 40yr male,a cyclist,golfer, runner and soon starting with weightlifting, I have never before engaged in any form of stretching/yoga.
    Yesterday I bought myself a second hand book on basic yoga for “laymen” which is where I learnt about this Sarvangasana pose...your channel was the first to pop on my search and I won’t be looking any further coz I truly enjoyed the easiness in which you explain this move...I am going to use your channel and teaching method to learn about the moves from the book I bought, the book covers the following basic lessons:
    Savasana
    Pavanamukthasana
    Ardha-Kurmasana
    Janu-Sirasana
    Bhujangasana
    Salabhasana
    Sarvangasana
    Pada-Hasthasana
    Siddhasana
    Sukh Purvak
    I want to learn them all,I’m relatively active and so want to incorporate Yoga/Stretches into my physique hence I’m here,however I am a complete beginner so I you have more suggestions(more stretches) for someone like me then by all means do advice🙏🏿 for now you have a new subscriber in me and will check your other videos out.

      Yogalates With Rashmi Thank you Rashmi for your prompt response,watched the video and downloaded it to use going forth...THANK YOU kindly mam✌🏿🇿🇦😉 I will keep you posted with my progress as I am now officially your YOGA student...one last request,if you perhaps have GOLF Specific YOGA stretches then please by all means do advice,many golfers suffer from many inadequacies ranging from lower back pain(myself included) stiff necks,weak elbows,wrists etc, perhaps you could have a look into creating sports specific stretches,for golfers/cyclists/runners etc but if that’s too much to ask then that’s okay,I will learn and incorporate different moves,I will follow/go with how my body feels and responds to different stretches.

    Thank you. I used to do this yoga from many years . But since last two years I couldn't do this in wintertime even after doing warm up before exercise.But in summer I found no problem with it. I think your video will solve my problem.

      @@binduchandrasekharan8079 I am able to do with the support of the wall. I might have progressed if I continued practicing. Since I stay in hostel, I couldn't practice it regularly (I have almost discontinued the practice) , therefore I still take wall support to do it.

    U made this so easy I did it❤.Is little bit of neck pain at the end normal & I am not completely vertical. I want do this perfectly,can this be done without a instructor.

      Ideally you need to be well warmed up so the bad of your neck does not hurt. Yes it can be done without an instructor but I’d advise you to warm up well

      You can try it slowly without turning the neck. Ensure that you are warmed up before you try this.

    Hi thanks for the video. I am able to lift my legs and perform the asana and I hold the pose for 5mins. But them my neck and shoulders pain afterwards, is that ok

      If you are an absolute beginner your muscles may take time to get used to it. But it shouldn't hurt to much ideally. Check your form and ensure you are not turning/moving your head once you lift up into the shoulder stand.

      Matsyasana helps to give the spine a counter stretch after sarvangasana. If you feel pain you need to check with a teacher if you are doing it correctly.

      You need to develop more core strength in order to lift both legs up together. Practice practice practice that's all I can advice.
