      I have tried to do surya namaskar many times but I cannot do the 8 point salute as my upper body is very weak . I cannot even go down from the plank as you have explained in the video at 4:55. Could you please tell me a way how to do it as a beginner.

      @@STstars101 from the high plank, try to slowly come down into the elbow plank. Then slowly lower your knees down one by one, and then you can put you chest down

    Nicely explained I am doing surya Namaskar for years I learnt when I was 16
    I am doing only 12 or 24 or 36 in slow pace with proper breathing depends on available time. I have done 108 like you did few days
    I never get overweighted in life yet and no belly fat at all I am 45+ and I have 4 pack abs 😊 for so many years
    Toned muscles due to surya Namaskars ll remains forever.

    I have seen so many surya namaskar videos in the past few days but honestly nothing was as good as this one. Hats off to u lady for explaining it so well and taking into account all the imp minute details and answering all the necessary required questions.     Thanks for the explanation. A few years ago my yoga teacher asked me to try to do 108 Surya Namaskar but build up slowly but only after doing a few times, I stopped. Now after watching your 108 for 30 days, I'm motivated again.

    I started practicing Surya Namaskar daily about a week ago now, after seeing your video. I am going slow and trying to do it correctly. I am up to 10 at a time and already when I move from 5 to 6 I can control my body and speed instead of my arms failing me and just letting my body drop to the floor. My point is I am already feeling stronger. Thank you for this video!!!

    I am from the Philippines 🇵🇭 I am on my 3rd day, and on that 3rd day I can see that my arms is slightly tone and I don't feel bloated even if I don't do diet. I feel so strong right now. I can even carry heavy things. I'm a college student and it really helped me with my concentration on my studies. Lot's of Love 💖

    Even though I have watched this video many times, I always learn something new each time I watch it. Just finished my 108 Surya Namaskar yesterday. I have tried doing 108 for 3 days but not consecutively. This time, I want to experiment with 50 Surya Namaskar in the day and 58 in the evening. I'm not sure if it would be as effective but doing 108 is quite challenging - I think it's the boredom and wandering thoughts that are getting to me. As always, thank you Anita for making this and the breathing guide!

    Thanks a lot for this. I discovered your channel through your 108 surya namaskar video and I was really intrigued. Back in the day, I tried to build up to 108 but my elbows were hurting so much because I was trying to do it with some sort of wrong chatarunga. Your video clarified this perfectly! Thanks a lot!

    Love the ton of inspiration from yr videos. 🙌🙌 I used to begin both my Bharathanatyam and Kuchipudi practice with Suryanamaskaar for 18 years. Those were the days...growing up. Then somehow yoga sadhana fell by the wayside. For the next several years, was doing pilates and other workouts like HIIT regularly and one stray aasana here and there. 😌 In the last few years I resumed by vinyaasa flow and am falling in love with it all over again. My back has actually opened up so much. Your videos are inspiring me to create my own suryanamaskaar challenge. ❤💖💕 Great job pointing out how not to do. Precision is everything -- completely agree.👍🙂

"you already know what not to do" then you SAY it anyway that's awesome for someone who is new and needs reminders repeated when you're feeling a little more comfortable with the pose! So good! Modifications, permissions (breath to your natural needs, "just chill " "give your body love"), and critical don't points repeated. gah! Just wonderful. Great content 👌

    Excellent presentation ever about Suryanamaskar. Loved the FAQs . Definitely agree : cooking with love definitely tastier than otherwise.
    Just being creative is all is required n you answered all questions that people had but never asked .

    I want to say a few things.
    First of all, thank you 🙏🏼 my personal life have been filled with lots of stress the last two weeks, therefore I have not been able to get on my mat at all. I came to TH-cam to find inspiration, and your video was my first suggestion. The moment you said smile, I looked you dead in the eye and don't ask me how but I could feel the joy you sent out in my bone marrow. I am, sufficient to say, super motivated right now.
    Secondly, thank you India, I honestly believe that yoga is the greatest gift to humanity ever.
    Thirdly, I love and prefer to learn as much as possible from the direct source itself, ie native Indians.

    I've been doing this almost every day for approx 6 weeks now and I'm really enjoying it. I've noticed that on days when I start with surya namaskar I am having much better days. I have not been counting how many I do, but I've been doing around between 4 - 6 sets, counting both legs as one set which takes around 10 to 20 minutes or so each morning then I usually follow with 5 minutes of meditation. Then I'll do my regular daily yoga practice at some point throughout the day.

    I always wanted to start doing it but i didn't know the correct way . But now thanks to you i can.
    . As I did those poses with you and the moment I put down my hand and relax and you said to smile, that was another level of sensation i felt in my body it was different but it's was definitely good.😊

    Being a yoga instructor I have watched a lot many videos of surya namaskar and I wasn't satisfied with any of the one coz there was something wrong with the alignment... however after watching this video I feel so satisfied and glad. And the way you corrected the posture that is must.
    People nowadays practice with ego which is very wrong and try to attempt the posture being on incorrect alignment which leads to injury.
    The way you explained is marvellous and I must say I'm your fan ❤️
