    Wonderful explanation mam. But I'm 50 years old. I really find it very difficult. I have hypo thyroid. Somehow I want to cure myself. Trying hard. But not able to do this properly as my body is not at all flexible.

    • @NamasteYoga333
      @NamasteYoga333  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Susithra. If you are not able to do it all the way up, just keep your legs up by the wall for 4-5 minutes.
      You can also follow my video specifically on thyroid th-cam.com/video/krzv28L2J2E/w-d-xo.html But remember regular practice is the key.
      Also, there is no age limit to become flexible. Regular yoga practice will make your body flexible and eventually you will be able to do it. Here is another video for you to make the body more flexible th-cam.com/video/rYgI7MThB9E/w-d-xo.html
      Lastly, 50 is not at all old :)

    Mam, I am obese. I am trying this from the past one week but couldn't let go both the legs from the wall. I am doing with one leg each. Could you please suggest me?

    • @NamasteYoga333
      @NamasteYoga333  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If you are following the instructions precisely then I would suggest keep doing it. One week is nothing. It takes months and years to perfect one asana. Just keep calm and keep trying. Never forget that yoga should also be Sthira (stable) and Sukha (comfortable). So don't be too hard on yourself.

    First of all Dhanyawad for the video.
    For how long one can do this asana.
    5min 10 min ?

    • @NamasteYoga333
      @NamasteYoga333  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Somewhere between 30 seconds to 2 minutes based on your comfort level. If you are doing this pose for one of the benefits and you are absolutely comfortable in the pose then you can go up to 5 minutes as well. If you decide to stay longer then once you come down, do not rush to get up, take your time.

      Along with asana you have to make sure that you are eating right. Lots of fruits and vegetables, no junk food, no sugary drinks. And always wash your face before going to bed. Keeping our body clean and healthy is the whole life style process.

    As I have hypertension can i do this asana

    • @NamasteYoga333
      @NamasteYoga333  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is not a good idea to do Sarvanasana if you suffer from hypertension. Although you can train your body to it very slowly. First be regular with your pranayama practice to keep your bp under control. Once it stays in control then start with Setubandhasana and see if it affects your bp negetively. If it does not then you can slowly start Sarvangasana.
      This whole process will take time (weeks may be months), depending on your practice and your body. Please listen to your body and go accordingly.

    When to perform sarvangasana?

    • @NamasteYoga333
      @NamasteYoga333  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mornings are usually the best time. Also make sure that you are empty stomach. Sarvangasana should be done almost at the end of the whole yoga practice. Never start with Sarvangasana.
