Here's our other video about invisible walls: th-cam.com/video/SCl4MaG2zGE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Vab5A1KwnQfeqrL_
Thank you, otherwise no one is going back through all that content
Falcon SUCKS
Does Dragon's Dogmas Larken epidemic count? The fishes that prevent you to go into the Water? I know it's kind of a Stretch, but here is maybe fuel for a Part 2 of this Version.
😢😢😢😢
When a gamerax video drops , an invisible wall shows up to stop any form of a productive day, and i love it .
Facts
So you don’t do anything every single day?!
@@shiven513 I guarantee I do nothing for about 10 to 20 minutes a day , depending on the length of the video 😔😂
This comment is underrated
Seriously 😂😂
I love how Falcon is becoming more rabid and manic with each new list
He be drunk lol Take one to know one! Not judging just saying maybe film the voice over when sober
hes slowly turning deranged its amazing
“PERFECT! Ship it!!” Lol
I think he got some notes or something. Seems cringe and fake. I doubt his real personality is like that.
If you want to hear drunk I played this video at the slowest playback speed at 1:49 seriously listen to that
7:23 - "It's not realistic." You have obviously never been on the wrong side of the tracks when a fully loaded freight train comes through.
8:18 - Falcon fails to recognize an eagle. News at 11:00.
I'm glad someone else noticed when he said "Crow" haha
Maybe it was a friend of his he was insulting.
Falcon’s dialogue as the sand worm was 100% on point for the High on Life universe
I was down here to write something similar, 100%
I gotta admit though, that baby face and high pitch whining is a LOT scarier than a typical Sand Worm encounter 🤣
At 8:10 Falcon mentions that a "big old crow will swoop down," yet the screenshot does not show a crow; it shows what looks to be a golden eagle or some type of . . . falcon.
Yeah, I was thinking a hawk or a falcon
I really love these ideas! You get so much more immersed in a game when its well done rather than a typical invisible wall.
👍🏼
@@gameranxTVinsightful
@@gameranxTV Bro just said 👍
Kingdom Come: Deliverance has a clever way of dealing with this: If you try to venture past the boundaries of the map, Henry slows to a standstill, while Henry's inner monologue reminds you that not only are you on an important mission that you shouldn't abandon, but that even though you have been given a lot more freedom and responsibility than the average serf, for all intents and purposes you're still bound to a liege lord and need his permission to leave his fiefdom. Welcome to the Middle Ages, peasant.
The videos where Falcon gets especially worked up and shouts stuff like "Ship it" away from the mic are truly the reason I am addicted to this channel
There's no wall crazier than the EA/Activision micro-transaction paywall.
EA isn't as bad anymore. Ubisoft is way worse.
*nba 2k enters the chat*
Borderlands, especially the first one, is a world already filled with things that don't make sense, and the invisible walls are no different. When you try and go past the edge of the map, you get a HUD warning and, if you don't turn back, random gun turrets mounted around the perimeter will shoot you dead faster than you can say "Butt Stallion".
I'm fairly positive it was not in this list because it was in the other.
@@joshc5309 It was not, I checked. 🙂
There are so many Outta bounds places in that game
Falcon can't tell the difference between a crow and a bird of prey? Wow.
Fr
FR
It even looks like it's a falcon?? 😭
haha, came for this comment. It's a Golden Eagle. 8:19
It was either MX vs ATV or another game in series. Go out of bounds and you'd explode in the opposite direction complete with falling whistle sound effect. Had a demo disc with that game on it. Was the most entertaining part of it.
MX vs ATV Untamed did that. It was hilarious!
og one was mx unleashed on ps2
such a good time doing that with a friend in 2 player events
@@x0b34rd4 I used to just play with my brother or by myself cause I was like 4 but that shit was still a ton of fun
Motocross Madness had this. Was bundled with the weird Microsoft Sidewinder controller for PC in the late 90s/early 00s
I love it when Falcon is “given the keys to the car” and drives it like GTA 5. I swear he has more and more fun with each list.
"Also my hair fell out YEARS AGOOOO" 🤣
Falcon enjoyed that way too much and I'm here for it!
That ‘Ship it!’ at the end just killed me. 😆
🤝
Same 😂
These things show the love and passion of developers for their games😊
👍🏼
Can't believe that Motorcross Madness only got a passing mention, when it's walls and seeing how far and how crazy you can be launched by them was a game all on it's own. My little brother and I would spend hours just riding straight into the wall and dying of laughter when we got launched.
We covered that in part 1
Can relate, Motocross Madness and Midtown Madness were some of my first game I have played
@@gameranxTV ah, I didn't notice this was a part 2. My bad.
@@gameranxTVholy shit I’ve never seen a real response from this account
For HOURS
In GTA San Andreas, there is an explanation about wanted level for leaving town in beginning (Los Santos) before completing the mission Green Sabre, Officer Hernandez called us after finishing the first mission he told us a warning that "Dont leave town, you make a big mistake! " that explains us why we get 4 stars wanted level for leaving town earlier gameplay.
I almost always end the day with a Gameranx video they're that consistent
Just a second out of my day to appreciate the utter random topics you guys cover in gaming.
I'm here for it.
ATV Off-road Fury’s invisible wall that just blasts you back into the map was always hilarious to me.
The Hitman infinite train that happens to show up wherever you go near the tracks to try to leave the map reminds me of The Truman Show and the convenient like traffic jams and road closures that just happen whenever Truman tries to leave town.
The fake horizon from Banjo Kazooie also is like The Truman Show when Truman finally escapes at the end and runs into the fake painted horizon with his boat.
I love how falcon sounds either very tired or a lil drunk while recording the first half of the videos.
He's gotta warm up his wings
I’m almost certain Falcon is in his 40’s. Each video, it comes out a little more.
Birds don't have an age. Fly high Falcon, caw-caw!
Finally the wait is over GTA VI is happening 🔥
Thank god!
Or not not official yet
@@Dragonfury3000Its official. Trailer comes in early December
@@pats334 oh just looked for it. That's great
When I was a kid, I had this PS2 Jet Ski racing game that would summon a giant squid tentacle and launch you across the map if you went too far.
8:10 how ironic that someone who calls themself "Falcon" confuses a falcon with a crow. And sad, too.
I need a sound byte of Falcon screaming "SHIP IT" now
"I honestly can't remember whether it's atom or hydrogen in Fallout 4"
Gets attacked by Children of Atom, again
Today, I learned that Falcon doesn't know what a crow looks like.
The best invisible walls in all of gaming are in MX vs ATVs Untamed on the Wii. When you drive into them you get rocketed up into the sky at 300 MPH for no apparent reason.
Nier Automata’s invisible walls are pretty funny. They lead to endings lol 😂
Falcon calling another Falcon a crow...
I like The Blair Witch games invisible wall solution. It just infinitely loops you back to your starting point. So you just keep walking in the same direction forever
👍🏼
Been following you guys from years, never paid attention to the sub count
Just a few years ago you guys were at just 1 mil, but wow you guys are really gonna hit 10 mil soon!!
Props to Jake, Falcon and entire gameranx team, you guys just rock!!
A bonus invisible wall is the ARK force fields in ARK: Survival Evolved. The forcefields/invisible walls were meant to contain the life inside of the ARK’s as well as to protect them from harmful radiation. This plays a role once the Abberation ARK is brought up, as the people on that ARK blew up one of the Obelisks/Pillars/Overseers and damaged the ARK’s shields to disappear, causing immense radiation to hit the surface of the ARK, forcing people to live underground.
You should try "Murdered: Soul Suspect". For a guy who can walk through walls on account of being dead and all, there's a lot of walls he can't walk through because they've been sanctified. In fact, finding your way around these visibly invisible walls is part of the game. But there's still a ton of walls you can't.
Always a good day when you start your morning with gameranx🤞🏽💯
How great would it have been if you got the out of bounds opening in FO4 and your created character looked like a ghoul for the rest of the game.
I love that Falcon doesn't know how to correctly identify other birds of prey lol
"My birds of prey brothers, a crow!" Meanwhile Falcon, a bird of prey, calls a hawk, a fellow bird of prey, a crow, which is a corvid lol
Dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria! Ghostbusters did it first!
Alone in the Dark was so scary! I never got past a couple of areas. Gaming as a kid in the 90' was so grindy
"Perfect, SHIP IT!" Made my night.
What about Ski Free? When the abominable snowman comes running out to eat you up!
No Fux Falcon has become one of the best parts of YT for me, whatever you’re drinking/smoking/taking please don’t stop you make my day
Somebody told Falcon he can say "shit" more in these videos and made his day 🤣🤣🤣
Lol falcon, you realize that wasn’t a crow right 😂.
FALCON THAT IS NOT A CROW! I EXPECT MORE FROM YOU BIRD SIR!
I had to audibly laugh out loud when Falcon screamed "PERFECT! SHIP IT!" 😂
My favorite invisible wall in video games will always be in MX Unleashed on ps2 where you get that loud shotgun sound once you hit the end of the map and you're sent flying towards the beginning of the stage 😂😂
Falcon jokes sound like the one my drunk uncle do.... ;)
Omg at the end Falcon yells SHIP IT!!! Hilarious!!!
Did my man falcon just call a hawk a crow?
8:23
Mr. Falcon that is not a crow.
Can you guess what it is?
I liked the way motorcross madness did it with an explosion to send you back to the middle of the map
I submit the massively underrated "The Saboteur" for consideration.
If you go too far, you enter "No Man's Land" which gets you killed by constant warfare in the area.
I still remember playing Smuggler's Run as a kid. I liked to have fun with their invisible wall mechanic back then, which at a certain point, if you reached a boundary, would just launch you with extreme force back towards the center of the map. And I mean you would be shot like 100 meters into the air.
The end of #1 had me dying... SHIP IT!😂
No no, Falcon. Rare did NOT go, “Oh ho, let’s just make Kinect games.”
MICROSOFT said, “Oh ho, YOU are going to only make Kinect games.”
They did not choose that.
the original alone in the dark was DOPE! I still have the box with floppies and the anti piracy minibook :)
SHIP IT! Is gonna be in my head all day. Thank you TH-cam bird.
Unpopular opinion: I think Sunset Overdrive has the best invisible wall. That it is not even in the top 20 baffles me 🤯
"It's not that im a big hungry beast. But you stepped over the line, and you can't do that."
Invisible walls are one of my largest pet peeves in video games.
Anything which prevents leaving the game space which makes sense (i.e. a pile of trash, cars, storage containers, an actual wall, a cliff, an ocean) is much more preferable than just an arbitrary invisible wall.
The original Farcry and the killer black helicopter.
I never noticed it until gaming with my friend. His pet peeve is invisible walls lol. Now I find myself complaining about it too
8:19 If you were a real bird you would know that wasn't a crow.
I always liked the systems where the map border just ended up returning you to the mission area again. I recall that happening in Lego Island 2 way back when.
The "Alan Wake II" invisible wall solution was actually done in "Silent Hill Homecoming" which came out in 2008.
The one with infinite train looked fun. I can imagine some players waiting there for a few hours just to see how long the train really is.
👍🏼
Spiderman 2 probably has the worst recent wall. It literally just pauses the game and tells you to go back
Most creative one for me was in Far cry 6. When you drive too far out to the sea you will be shown a cutscene where you've left Yara, listening to the news from radio on some beach. You then hear that the Libertad which side you were fighting for has lost and the leaders were killed. After that the credits start rolling and it's game over.
He calls the obvious Falcon a crow because there can only be one true Falcon on this channel.. 😅
"giant crow" proceeds to show us a picture of an eagle.
Jak & Daxter - The fish that would come and eat you with that drum beat as he gets closer. Use to terrify me as a child.
Lara was so strong the train literally comes to a full stop when it hits her. Bad ass!
This channel saved my life
🦅🦅Hi Falcon, here are folks. Many, many folks🦅🦅.
The division 2 invisible walls in the dark zone need to be mentioned
My attention spans hits an invisible wall when gameranx drops a video
A great way for devs to get creative.
👍🏼
Fall outside the map.
The Bird of prey in Smalland wasn’t a crow 😂, it was a falcon or a hawk
Thie day just don't feel complete without a gameranx video even if it's a before you buy about a game I don't plan on buying 😂.
In ESO on certain maps that had water at the edge of the map, you can swim out there, but slaughterfish would attack you until you died. Even if you had super strong heels, the attacks would exponentially hurt more every second
Falcon is shown a hawk and calls it a crow. Spot on, bubby
One of the MX VS ATV games would launch you into the air if you reached the world border
👆🏻
Another reason why RDR2 is so amazing. If you can glitch passed the mountain edges, the world goes on for so far. It's barren but explorable and interesting for someone who wants to see how huge the outer edges are.
one of the best ive ever seen was in one of the ATV offroad games. where if you left the free drive areas you hit this concussive wall that yeets you across the map. and the faster you go before you hit it the farther it launches you.
Can you link the old videos when you continue a series? Either as a link in the video or in the description
don't know if it's been covered already, but in descenders, if you reach the end of a map, you get launched at an insanely fast speed
I just love that, for as real as GTA is, all games and cities are set on island maps.
*No Man's Sky has left the chat*
Far cry series mostly. Just cause definitely.
One invisible wall I remember was from Just Cause 2, where there was no wall, but instead, it just pushes you sideways.
The gigantic black walls that pop up in Assassin's Creed Black Flag are legitimately the most terrifying things that I have ever encountered in an Assassin's Creed game
THAT WAS NOT A CROW! It was an eagle.... Such a bird brain.😉
Fallout games never say what type of bombs, they are all non-historical, however the blast size appears more atom bomb than hydrogen bomb.
An atom bomb would level flat everything in a one mile radius, while a hydrogen bomb would level everything in a ten mile radius. So if it was a hydrogen bomb in Fallout 4, there would be no buildings still standing, the entire game area would be a crater.
Lol, the Sandworm screeches the intro for Dune, just a fun Easter egg
As an avid open world gamer, I do get annoyed when I come to the edge of a map, but I do love it when devs find ways to incorporate barriers into their lore of the world
In some games, the invisible walls are in unnecessary places. I HATE it when that's the case. In Truck Sim, if you try to trun around in a shopping center or something, sometimes you'll just get stuck... out of nowhere... for no reason.
A falcon ought to be able to tell the difference between a crow and an eagle. Just sayin...
1. That's not a crow.
2. A crow is not a bird of prey.
