They should hire you to include the real chapters ^__^
Video Thumbnail is hilarious, BTW.
Thanks for the series so far. Have a beer on me (assuming you drink), if not, have a coke or two :)
Hahahahha thanks mate! We will get that beer for sure 😎😎😎
Hi, for everyone having the issue with the camera not tracking the ball live while scrubbing the position along the rail in UE 5.4 (it only updates when letting go of the slider), use the 'Cine Camera Rig Rail' instead of the 'Camera Rig Rail'. It looks slightly different but updates real time as per the video.
Love your energy guys, thank you for the amazing content :)
16:08 and today yet I'm here again to remember how this rig rail works :D
you two are doing a great job on presenting all this information to us all
Thankssss
Yes guys !!! Been waiting on this one !!!
Guys, this is just great stuff. Thank you so much. 🔥
Glad you enjoy it!
I look forward to your tutorial releases every day. Thank you for your hard work.
Absolutely my friend! Let's keep going
Amazing what you two are doing for us! Keep it up!!
thank you for saying this
Hopefully I'll watch these tutorials during the upcoming holidays in Iran. Wish I can someday post my work on IG and thank the best teachers ever: Farhad and Faraz. Proud of you two ❤❤
As an experienced filmmaker, this was my favorite part, but all the other tutorials have been amazing to this point. Can't wait to finish this animation and continue my journey learning Unreal. Thank you. Thank you so much for making the best tutorial for Unreal Engine.
I'm almost there to finish ;D Great tutorial sensei's
Starting to fall in love with u guys !
😍🤗
Finally,we are here.i can't wait for the next part.i m so bad at sequencer😢
Hahahha well we just uploaded it for yoU! GO AND CHECK IT OUT
WoW thank you this solves more of my issues Awesome Guys
Our pleasure!
Well rewatching again so much info have just put crane in my scene and forgot the camera settings im glad you guys made this such a help for my short film. Wish i had you BOTH here with me kinda guiding me but oh well.
hahaha glad it is helpful bro... Good luck with your short film
Thats super impressive :D
Amazing!! Thanks. I don't have Instagram, but I'm going to create one just to show you my course results.
fantastic .. can't wait to see it
this playlist is awesome you guys have no idea how helpful these tutorials are, may i ask when i placed the camera i saw how huge of a diffrence that the storm troopers have due to the pattren how to lower how diffrent they are without starting from the beginning?
AMAZING!
🤗
SICK M8!!!
Amazing 👌👌
Thanks 😊
The shadows I've got (say under the storm trooper's chin) are very precise and I've noticed yours are quite soft. Is there a particular setting to help with this?
Thanks for another great video guys! I have a quick question... Is there any advantage over using rigs as opposed to adjusting the camera's transform in the sequencer time line?
Imagine if BDS stops publishing the next chapters, it would be the biggest troll I've ever face lol. We've made it this far! Thanks guys, it was an amazing tutorial series.
hahahahahhahaha ... imagine we stop at Render Setting :))) but we wont.
Is there a way to chnage field of view in camera too (like on the left up tab menu). I'm looking forward to way for distortion like black hole wrap, thank you.
I just found it in squencer/camera compenents/camera settings. Miracle +
does anybody esle have an issue where the camera will not track even with tracking enabled when moving the rig/crane? any ideas on how to fix it?
Please help... 20:43 in my viewport a Camera window didnt update live while changing ^position on rail ;((( . Only when you uncklick mouse its updating tracking
have you any idea how to fix it?
Same issue here
Hi i have a problem my object is not blur at all I don't know way i use focal length setting but it didn't work for me
Hello guys, ive got a problem with the camera tracking the object. when i select the object to track on my cameraActor it initially points the sphere. but then when im gonna move the camera on the rail it only points in the sphere direction without following the sphere position. Pls help i don't know how to solve this issue
my preview camera won't update in realtime and idk whyyyy
Hey brothers, is there a way to pin the camera in the right hand corner permanently ? So even when you do not have the camera selected ? I know you could open a new second viewport and have that viewport on a second monitor to see what the camera sees but this small cam on the right is sometimes easier to be fast in your workflow.
Edit: Shit never mind, you guys do explain it , the PIN button!!
Hahahahah yess The pin button is the answer
20:33 my camera is tracking the ball, but when i move it on the rail rig, its not updating in real time :/ what setting do i need to enable for that?
Having the same issue, Tracks the ball, but only updates when i stop moving the camera
@@CarkeysYT Same here...
Same Problem

Hello, for some reason when I try to track the sphere it will not. The camera doesnt turn at all (keeps pointing in same direction) and idea how to fix this? I believe I followed the video correctly
I use a macbook. Probably is the reason cuz nothing works on mac i guess
Need some help...the camera on the rig rails doesn't track the actor. I've enabled "Enable Look at Tracking" and the Actor to Track is set to the sphere, but it doesn't actually track it. Someone else mentioned the "Realtime" option under "Viewport Options", but this is already turned on. ( I'm on a Mac M2 )
same here, mac m2 as well, looks like it's not available on mac? (at least for live preview in the camera preview)
After a few tests, it actually works when the rig is part of a sequence (animation, next lessons): we can drag the animation playhead back and forth and have the camera "Enable Look At Tracking" in real time :)
@@ling6701 yep, works for me as well there.
I have a problem, camera follows the target on its own, but when its on the rig and i move it it does not track the target, what could be problem ?
same here, any ideas ?
@@benjacquier i noticed when i let go of the rig slider it goes to tracking, but when i move it again it goes off again
@@Diskokeisari yes, same once I let go it works, but not in real time
@@benjacquier there was a comment that says: "After a few tests, it actually works when the rig is part of a sequence (animation, next lessons): we can drag the animation playhead back and forth and have the camera "Enable Look At Tracking" in real time :)" havent done it yet but in next video trying.
Hey guys, for some reason I dont have any depth of field? help please :)
I restarted PC and it magically works now! FFS! Love you dudes
First what is up beautiful humans
hahahahahha
Hi Guys , I have enabled the lookat tracking and also assigned an Actor to Track but when I move my camera its not tracking the assigned actor.... it remains static.... I tried deleting and recreating the camera ... I also tried restarting UE but the issue was not fixed ...😭😭Can someone help me please...🥺
Found my mistake ... The real time option was off that's why camera was not tracking ... I enabled it now ... and its working smoooooth 😄😇
;)
What is the "real time option"...I'm having the same issue. If this is the setting in the Viewport Options, this is on and didn't fix the issue
@@badxstudio same problem here. I cant fix it. Can You help?
@@nikhilhira5334 same here. please help
I really wanna make the best vr game with UE5 but idk how to find the best school 😢😢🤔🤔
This is incorrect. You may have a mis conception of the anamorphic look. When shooting anamorphic lenses we are talking about squeeze factor which is not driven by the sensor size but the lens itself, that will compress the image before it is exposed on the sensor surface. That will be then disqueezed later in post process.
If you want to achieve an in-camera anamophic look and get the bokeh, then you can use the squeeze factor and keep a realistic sensor size, like an Alexa Mini LF or something else.
These tuts are so good. Any chance you could show us how to simulate cloth, for example if I wanted to add Darth Vader to my scene and I want his cape to simulate physics when animated. That would be badass. I just don't know how to do it.
