Great video! I was thrown off for a minute when you pronounced Niagara. It's actually named after a waterfall on the US/Canada border and its pronounced, "ni-ag-ara." I think I'm going to call it Nia Gara in the future to mess with people haha.

Matt Workman makes Cinetracer which is pretty cool, but he doesn't seem to be actively developing it, so some stuff is limit or doesn't work that well. So we need more anyways. Great video.

If your looking for light ideas, a headlamp you can use on a forehead to light up your path in tunnels and stuff would be good. Thanks for the pluggin tips.

the tree assets he is talking about are simply not in the quixel bridge. you cannot find them anywhere but on the marketplace. they are very nice looking and performant trees.

Hi, is a laptop with Core i7, RAM 32GB, hard disk 1000GB SSD, and RTX 3080 Ti good enough for making animation in UE? Or should I invest in a 64GB laptop?
I'm using a 32GB with lower GPU than yours but I can use UE5 and Blender simultaneously without any issue/s. Your setup is more than enough, but if you encounter any issues upon setup, try watching any starter course of Unreal Sensei to setop UE5 properly.

For Brushify you can use tesselation or parallax occlusion if UE5 is still suporting it... At least tessellation is now supported again with UE5.3 And i think that brushify textures come with heightmaps baked into the textures.

anybody know a good pack for lawn grass? all the grass i find on the marketplace etc is super tall and wild. Does not have to be free, but I would love a grass plugin where i can manage the height of the grass without just "squishing it" in the z axis (which looks horrible) - or having to export it to another software to change the height.

64gb would always be better but you should have no problem with that setup
