I love when you get to watch in real time the development of a character just randomly taking a direction. Like, Nathan was just trying out a hairstyle with those long front bits, Caldwell makes a joke, and you blink and suddenly he's Rhodie Dent, bearer of the Boomer-Rat Blade. The weapon description does not mention rats once, and yet it ties the whole thing together.
Nathan is especially good at this. The amount of times someone say something about what he's drawing and goes "heh I like that, sure why not incorporate this" then BAM, this and my favourite iteration, the "are you lookus at my tuchus?" cowboy from the music challenge, gets created
@@HazeEmry You're right, he's very good at switching direction on the fly - I wonder if any of that has to do with going first a lot? He's sort of the 'tester' for the challenge, as well as for whatever mood people are in that day.

So. We have the zodiac theme(rat, bull, tiger) We got elements(water, fire, metal) We got naming conventions, with all of their names being themed by their weapons. We got unreliable narrators. this is the perfect anime set up
I don't know why, but halfway through watching this I came up with an antagonist for this "series" and I feel like I have to share this. She'd be themed after the dragon zodiac, because she's literally a dragon. Her weapon would be a staff that lets her use glass based magic. Mostly impractical, I guess she can like fire glass at people but the amount of shrapnel that it lets off makes it a hazard to her. She does, however, learn to create crystal balls with it which grants her clairvoyance. She'd also wield the staff with her tail and mostly fight with her claws. The reason that she's the antagonist is that using her clairvoyance, she learns that the chosen blades will lead to the end of the world, and our 3 protagonists (which is then 2 protagonists after the first 2 seasons, and then in season 4 they bring her back because... Whatever her name was, I'm not typing it out, didn't really work without the other 2 and her spin off wasn't as popular as expected) are the people she sees in her vision of the end of the world.
"people expect him to smell bad but he actually has surprisingly good hygiene" i really like this bc that's exactly what real rats are like! rats are very clean animals, many people don't realize this.

Now imagine that energy but they're just sitting at a desk in the middle of an open office workspace & you have the first couple years of Drawfee vids! (iirc, Jacob's first appearance is as a muffled voice a few desks over providing the answer to a reference someone couldn't remember)
Hell yeah, great episode. Love when Caldwell comes back, and he and Karina have this sort of unhinged, infectious energy that brings out that side in Nathan. All in all, great vibes, and a great prompt. Would def be down for a part 2.
I'm in the South, and I'll confirm it would be fun to slang some 'rang around the neighborhood, but alas, all I have is flying discs, and those don't return. They might go into a neighbor's yard, or get stuck up on a roof, and that wouldn't be fun at all. However, I wholeheartedly encourage the boomerang-enabled to take Karina up on her advice. It sounds like a hoot! Also, I would definitely watch "Chosen Blade"! I really hope it airs back-to-back with "Legends of Krys" so I can just stay on the same channel all morning.
As someone who has never had a sense of smell, I appreciate the direction that Drawfee is going in with their detailed scent descriptions of every character moving forward. Excited to know what the smell of raw sewage or even Stouffer's lasagna will look like.
I think with Karinas character she probably had like a traumatic back story and when she loses her grip on reality when using her weapon her enemies appear as people that betrayed her or hurt her
Can't believe they locked Jacob outside in an active hailstorm and forced him to watch Nathan to draw a futuristic Italian Cold Steel Cinquedea without him.
… tungsten carbide is what very hard drill bits are made from. tungsten is used in lightbulbs because it has the highest melting point of any metal, it can get white hot without melting, which is useful for an incandescent bulb’s filament. it’s also almost twice as dense as lead.
Just thought of a great (imo) prompt. 1 character description with someone drawing a past version, someone drawing a present version, and a third drawing a future version
The subs/CC on this video are definitely from a Drawfee episode, but not this one? 29:30 "Note to Nathan, make the arm worse" "make the arm worse" "Jacob, make the car better"
The power's name is "degenerating" but the power description says "degrades" so it's more that she just focused on the description rather than the name.
At least according to Cambridge Dictionary, degenerate means "to become worse in quality". I think jpeg artifacting is a perfectly valid interpretation 😂
Every characteristics of Nathan's dagger works against itself. It's made of tungsten, meaning it will be heavy and unwieldy. It has an impractical guard and oversized pommel, so it will be uncomfortable to hold. And it returns to you when you drop it, which will be often because it's heavy and uncomfortable to hold.
The boomerang dagger sounds like something that would have been in "The Legend of Krys". Speaking of "what if The legend of Krys was remastered" is a video idea I have thrown out there a few times now might as well suggest again.

The lack of an "and everytime we kiss I swear I could fly" was jarring, but the joke was so good it didn't even break my mind :D
Awesome episode!! Always amazing to see Caldwell back !
I was so ready to hear it! Very disappointed.
I still think it was implied though.
I haven't been actively watching lately, but after I clicked on this episode and heard this voice I've known so well and yet haven't heard in a while...
It's great to Hear Karinas voice again.
I love how often Nathan drawings become collaborative efforts. He just adds in what the others say so well.
Caldwell and Karina are too powerful together. Nathan has taken so much psychic damage.
I’m Merobiba! Wielder of the gun that shoots bullets very fast into your general vicinity
Merobiba, who gave you a gun?
@@thesunwillneversetNot again!
@@thesunwillneverset The witch said its magic and can fix my problems with my family :3
Merobiba Dunbroch, who was Merida Dunbroch’s sister, shot bullets from the gun real fast! It’s a good day to do what has to be done by me to help my sister to defeat the enemys!
I can now see why Caldwell and Karina aren't allowed to both exist on Drawfee at the same time anymore, they are too powerful together
I was unfortunately unaware of drawfee until after Caldwell was not a regular member, so every time he appears I am unprepared for the levels of chaos he brings lmao
Now imagine that energy but they're just sitting at a desk in the middle of an open office workspace & you have the first couple years of Drawfee vids! (iirc, Jacob's first appearance is as a muffled voice a few desks over providing the answer to a reference someone couldn't remember)
@@MartyMango0Do you happen to know which video that happens in? Sounds too good to miss out on
I kinda wnna know as well. I came in late as well
And every time we kiss I swear I can fly
dude i am SO attached to Rodie Dent it’s insane, i need an animated series with him this instant
I'm not even done with the intro and I'm dying laughing. The Caldwell Chaos Energy brings me the most delight possible
I always laugh at Drawfee bits but I literally have not stopped laughing since this episode started. The energy in this one is relentlessly bonkers.
Hell yeah, great episode. Love when Caldwell comes back, and he and Karina have this sort of unhinged, infectious energy that brings out that side in Nathan. All in all, great vibes, and a great prompt. Would def be down for a part 2.
"You wield your words like a weapon against me in this intro" and it isn't even said by Jacob!
11:38 - "Its a...nice day for a....rat wedding!"
If i got the song stuck in your head, your welcome.
Joke's on you, that song got stuck in my head completely independently
ha i thought the same :))
Jacob was absolutely shivering somewhere from the chaotic energy of this intro being filmed
I think with Karinas character she probably had like a traumatic back story and when she loses her grip on reality when using her weapon her enemies appear as people that betrayed her or hurt her
"How many flashbacks are we? We are so deep in"
I so wanted to add, "and then Roady showed up and said 'I'm from the future'."
It's always a blessing whenever Karina decides to gift us with a drawing of a cute girl
I swear to Moses, if there isn't an Italian cold steel cinquedea in this episode...
That's in the next installment of chosen blade for Jacob to draw
I wish they knew cold steel is the brand
That is Jacob’s chosen blade
its the best fantasy weapon
Caldwell learned from Jacob's mistake and finished his thought experiment in one breath, with no room for the others to get a word in
The subs/CC on this video are definitely from a Drawfee episode, but not this one? 29:30 "Note to Nathan, make the arm worse" "make the arm worse" "Jacob, make the car better"
i turned them on to see this and the first thing was "-Someone help."
Came for the thumbnail, stayed for the Papa Caldy. Just kidding I came because it's Drawfee and I am hopelessly addicted.
This was my first Drawfee video, a month in and now it’s my favorite yt channel by far🎉 such happiness
Nobody gonna point out that karina entirely mistook degenerate as degrading, its the kinda mistakes we needed
The power's name is "degenerating" but the power description says "degrades" so it's more that she just focused on the description rather than the name.
At least according to Cambridge Dictionary, degenerate means "to become worse in quality". I think jpeg artifacting is a perfectly valid interpretation 😂
It's been 3 days and this episode already feels like a landmark in Drawfee canon.
Nathan and Karina had very nice and awesome voices in the intro wow
So awesome Caldwell was all confused by it
Every characteristics of Nathan's dagger works against itself.
It's made of tungsten, meaning it will be heavy and unwieldy. It has an impractical guard and oversized pommel, so it will be uncomfortable to hold. And it returns to you when you drop it, which will be often because it's heavy and uncomfortable to hold.
Dang, I love it when Caldy comes back.
If y’all do another make-up work ep, I would lovve to see Jacob do this one!
He could draw an Italian cold steel cinquedea
"Five Nights at Fate/Stay Night" gave me psychic damage and disadvantage on my next attack roll. Great content as always.
literally anytime caldwell is a guest my day instantly gets better
The boomerang dagger sounds like something that would have been in "The Legend of Krys".
Speaking of "what if The legend of Krys was remastered" is a video idea I have thrown out there a few times now might as well suggest again.
not to mention that, as @EricStrasser7697 mentioned above, Caldwell’s character is Gunthia’s body and Lucianosaurus’ weapon
The hostile chaos that Caldwell brings to every return visit makes me question how Drawfee ever survived him in the first place.
I like that the new thing drawfee is doing is scratch-n-sniff youtube edition
I know the videos gonna be good when the title says "randomly generated"
Or when the channel says drawfee
I love that Kid Rock song that goes, "Ba-wit-da-ba, da-slang-a-rang"
I think I speak for all Drawfee fans when I saw we really want this again!
0:53 Yay 4e weapons!
19:07 Perfect Kugrash impression.
33:02 There's a comedy skit like this in Hebrew. And it literally uses the words "I remember this as if it was yesterday".
48:50 Every next detail makes me more convinced she is a weird clone of Dave Strider.
Nathan wasn’t ready to be alone with Karina and Caldwell. 😂
They very much have "cousins who only see each other a few times a year but really vibe when they do" energy & Nathan's the third cousin who's having a great time but is also the one who keeps them from getting in trouble with the adults
I bet Caldwell rolled a 9 for Karina and just turned it upside down.
