I don’t understand how I am supposed to stay present with my thoughts, watching them come and go when I have 10 thousand thoughts coming inside my mind at the same time whilst having a music theme constantly playing in the back of my mind.
Think of your mind as the sky and your thoughts as clouds, as you think your awareness is holding it all together so even as you get good at meditation, just allow the thoughts to be there that's also the real practice of meditation too, hope this helps

It’s called practice my friend. It takes time. Trust me, I didn’t get it at first either.
