I meditate regularly, usually without guidance. Today I wanted to try a guided session and google brought me to this one. I enjoyed it and noticed my breath more closely, inhaling and exhaling like the waves of the sea. Thank you
For the last minute he said to let the mind do what it wants. So I waited for the mind to go off on a tangent but it never did. Once I told my mind it is okay to wander, it didn't. Unlike the rest of the practice where I had monkey mind. I just had to allow my mind some freedom instead of trying to control it. Anyone else have this? Very interesting.
absolutely, it seems like our brain monkey is quite sullen, as soon as he's allowed to be free, he doesn't want it anymore. Maybe we can use that instead of fighting it somehow.
Been doing this daily for 5 weeks straight. Never missed a day. My chronic anxiety is better, thoughts don’t race as much, sleep is better and I am more calm. I’ve always wanted to develop a meditation practice but just couldn’t commit longer than 2-3 days. This format is perfect for me. Thank you.
I love this meditation, not too much talking, the exact amount and it gives you time to focus on yourself. Love it. Thank you so much to the creator/s of this meditation
Yes some people's over guidance while MEDITATION distract us from focus on the breath.too much guidance while MEDITATION become as a distraction from breath.nobody addressing it
I came from the 10-minutes mindfulness / focus meditation guide you made and have been using that for the past 3 weeks. I decided to do 30-minute meditation now everyday and this is my first time doing it and will be using this guide everyday. There was many times that my mind wandered but I was able to finish the meditation and I felt great I didn't even feel 30 minutes pass by. My willpower is still weak and I am on the path of strengthening my willpower so I can control my thoughts and remove negativity. I am also doing meditation to stop fapping and it is really hard to stop but I want to become a better person and a successful person in life, in order to do that I have to remove these negative thoughts, bad habits such as fap, wasting time when I wake up 3:30AM in the morning and dont do much daily. I will leave another comment next month and I will make sure that I have stronger willpower by that time.
@Ale Hi, as of today, I've never stopped using this and other guided meditation made by the same youtuber. Been sticking with 20 mins since it hits the sweet spot. I feel much more better, I have stronger control over my mind and my thoughts. Changed my sleep/wake time 20:00-4:00. And now I am able to focus effortlessly.
really appreciate the long pauses. just enough to give you a little scare jump back into focus when you realize you forgot you were meditating. It allowed me to not fall asleep in my chair. Lots of other things with music just make me fall asleep. great work.
This was my first session ever, I knew about the positive effects of meditation, but after this I'm just seeing the world differently. It's just calmer, and cleaner. I'm going to start doing it everyday and replying below to log my progress every day. Respect from 🇦🇱.
I have been meditating regularly for about six months. I have better results with guided exercises than with unguided. However, over time I have found that the amount of guidance that works for me has lessened. This meditation has the perfect amount of guidance for me at this point in my meditation journey, as do the other Declutter The Mind exercises I have tried. I also think the lack of music or other sounds also helps my meditation. Even though meditations with music or sounds seem to be very soothing I think they keep me from becoming as relaxed or aware as these. So far Declutter The Mind meditations produce the best results (for me) of any that I have tried. I look forward to trying more Declutter The Mind exercises. Thank you so much for producing these!
I've been doing meditations for quite a while now. There are many days i don't do them, but now i was so anxious , i just wanted to go somewhere else in my mind... I've commited to 30 minute meditation and it helped, i've lost the feeling of time and now when i think about it, It passed really fast, thank you. I feel much better now, you're doing amazing stuff!
New favorite meditation video. Love the silence and tone of voice. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to videos with background music. Now to search this channel and see if he has the same meditation in one hour form instead of 30 min
Thank you, I’ve never really got this before due to my wondering mind but you knew just when to remind me of bringing my focus back to my breathing. I also love how you broke down the thinking/thoughts of the breath with the rise and fall and pausing of the breath, really helped keep my focus along with the counting of the breath. I also liked the quiet time where you allowed us to be quiet within ourselves for a while and again, you somehow knew just how long to leave us for. Thank you for not selling out and not interrupting this lovely session with adverts, really appreciated. I feel like my body feels weightless and every cell in my body feels relaxed and I feel totally chilled and ready to face the day.
This is the best guided meditation on TH-cam. Enough gaps between the prompts to let the mind wander, acknowledge and bring it back to the breath. Thanks! Keep creating more
I really enjoy that it didn’t have any music or anything. The little bit of touching base/talking he did was a great way to stay grounded while allowing focus on the breath. This is the longest guided meditation video I’ve ever used and it feels like it was five minutes. Definitely will use again
Did this meditation first thing on a beautiful sunny morning sat in my garden with nature waking up all around me.I couldn't ask for a better start to the day.Thank you so much!❤
I had a great teacher at a former job and his style was just like this: super simple, just the prompts needed, plenty of silence. Everything I've found online since then is too busy, focused on a different style, etc. I've been looking for something like this for years and haven't really meditated since before Covid. Bookmarked, I'll be back. Thank you
I just did about my 10th session and the space with my eyes closed seemed more vast. Bigger and yet more comfortable and more known. Also the content of these “space outs” where I start to venture off into thought land has changed as well while the frequency has also began to lessen. I’m so grateful for this video and the 15 min for when i haven’t provided myself with enough time for a 30. Looking forward to where this leads me. I am already feeling it wafting it’s way into every moment of my awakening. Much love.
The 60 minute one was great, but a lot, the thirty minute one is like,,,,,, digestible. After of few days of bullet journaling and meditation, I know I need to keep this a part of my life practice indefinitely
I was able to make it to the 28 minute mark and closed my eyes again. I'm so proud of myself. The non-guided ones definitely require more focus. My kind kept wandering haha
This was awesome! Lovely voice and I especially enjoyed the extended periods of silence. Had to keep myself from falling asleep a few times, but this was just what I needed right now. Thank you!
One of the best mindfulness tracks I've ever used. So glad you have a good quality mic, some of these channels record these with a freakin' Barbie karaoke microphone.
This was exactly what I needed: 1)helped to get the attention to meditation 2)variations of methods to stay focused 3)I love the last part where my mind wanders
Love this meditation, perfect amount of guidance. I listen to it with a 13hz binaural tone in the background on a separate tab. I find that combo very relaxing
Best meditation for anxiety 👌👏 The best way is to just observe the thoughts and feelings and appreciate them rather than trying to control or pushing it away Ours is a monkey mind What we try to push will bounce back So just be it The best part is no distraction of music
I loved this, because there was a lot less talking here. Will for sure try this one again, but it was so sad, because I did this meditation after my sister left the house. Then my dog got sad and started howling, so I got destracted and had to pause the video constantly, so I could comfort him😢
I couldn't make my local in person 30 minutes Mindfulness class today so I jumped om TH-cam and found you. Your Guided session was a perfect replacement I'll be using this regularly now. Thank you 🙌🏻
Feeling Awesome after this meditation. Thanks for this meditation video "without music" and your calming voice in between to get us back from the distractions. Thanks!
I was very grateful for breathing each inhale and exhale during the this meditation provide me to stick to breathing even was not letting to getting any idea and wandering . Thanks so much.
This is absolutely perfect. It was recommended and I’m so pleased. I have been doing it regularly for a few months now ( I put my legs up the wall at the same time to get the benefits of this as well ). Im sleeping so well and I find I’m calmer and more present in every aspect of my life. I love his voice and as others have said it is the perfect amount of talking, so easy to follow and I’m so happy that I can finally feel that I’m meditating and gaining many good results. Thankyou Debi.
Again, what a pleasant way of loosely guiding a meditation. My (usually very busy) mind actually was quiet once it was told it could go wherever it wants at the end of the session. A very pleasant experience.
I really love this meditation and keep coming back to it as I'm recovering from a chronic illness and I like guided meditations without any music. Do you think you could do another one but for 45 minutes? Many thanks, Jack
thank u so much ♥️♥️ loved this meditation!!! the silent pauses and the guidance was soo helpful to me as a beginner in meditation. The “your mind probably wandered” literally called me out cause I was getting distracted by my thoughts at those moments hahaha.
Third day in a row doing this, I've noticed I'm much more relaxed rather than energized. I think I have some kind of attention disorder, although undiagnosed, I've noticed I was able to finish tasks more easily following my second meditation, something I have trouble with. This was quite demanding for me though, although I felt better, I also felt like my mind had used a lot of energy to make it through till the end. I feel like the intermittent voice between prolonged silence is for the more experienced mediators, as I usually have an easier time with background melodies. Overall I enjoyed it for what it is.
It was hard for me as this was my first time trying my hand in meditation but I see with more and more meditation I could build my focus and concentration. ❤thanks
2020 wasn't an easy year. It was necessary to learn to deal with something new and challenging, which questioned our life and the relationships we have with people. For 2021, I ask for more peace, hope and health. Let a year come of light.
You have a wonderful peaceful voice. I enjoyed this meditation very much. Not having music in the background really helped me to dive deeper into my own awareness. Thank you!
Just completed 1 week straight of 30 minutes meditation. I still don't understand how I can sit for 30 minutes in basically silence and not fall asleep, rather feel happier and more alert than before.
Same. It's so hard to find good guided meditation videos, it's almost unbelieavable. I like that the videos on this channel are without music and that there's so much silence between what he says so I can actually focus. His voice is also very soothing and pleasant. And the audio quality is great. All in all very good stuff. But it took me a couple of years to find it.
Thanks for the meditation! I am new to this whole thing, and really enjoyed the walkthrough without music. Nearing the end it became really difficult to focus and follow through with the entire thing, but I know with practice I’ll improve. :)
The more activities I do in the day the less I am able to maintain focus on the breath. Most of these activities I don't need to do so I cut back on some of them..e.g. Watching too much tv, working too much. When there is less clutter in my mind I am able to focus on the breath. After 2 months of doing this meditation I can now count 10 breaths without thoughts taking over. Half an hour is my limit. I cannot at this stage do any more as my attention still wanes. I have also noticed that a 15 year depression and anxiety issue is beginning to become less of an issue. Meditation is the only tool that has ever been of any use to me. I wish I'd discovered it sooner.
I'm enthralled by this content. I recently enjoyed a similar book, and I was truly enthralled. "Reclaiming Connection: The Journey of a Digital Detox" by Joshua Ember
I am in week 2 of the Palouse MBSR course. I prefer this meditation for sitting! It has just enough reminders to catch me, but overall is extremely peaceful. At the end when I let my mind wander all it was doing was screaming about how stiff my back felt! I then, mindfully, decided to give my back a rest for the last moments, haha
Thank you for the guided meditation this was my first time ever trying it and I will definitely be doing this a lot more. I liked how i became easily relaxed and came out of the session with a clearer mind.
Wonderful feeling. I am new to your channel. Started with the 10 minutes guided meditation. Now I have moved up to 45 minutes. It’s very relaxing and helps me a lot. My thoughts wander off when I do longer sessions but I follow the directions and focus as prompted. I prefer voice over music. I have even suggested this channel to many of my friends and family members who have started following as well. Thanks for making this easy to learn and practice. ♥️
Ive been doing youtube meditations for many years. I stumbled on this one recently and it is now my go-to as I really like the guide's style tone approach and mix of active guidance and silence. Just now i only had 10 min and REALLY needed to chill out before an appointment, so I jumped to the last 11 minutes...just as the single breathing counting started and wow. 11 min later I can function better than before w calm alertness. I recommend it.

hi, thank you so much! and love you for doing such a great job:) and i hope everyone here gets to know that how peaceful is present.. and let me tell you something please don’t try to fight your feelings and thoughts…better days are approaching.. love you all❤️
Hope you enjoyed this longer practice. How did you feel at the end of the practice? Better? Worse? The same? Let us know :)

Happy it helped :)
Agreed
It went faster than I expected for my first time doing 30 min.
LITERALLY ME TOO!! It felt like 10-15
I was hoping it will go faster but I was too impatient I’m gonna try this again tmr

Very good - calming and clear. An hour guided meditation would be even better.
Thanks Wendy, we'll definitely be creating and releasing longer guided meditation practices here on the channel, including a 60 minute length one.
loved it. never have I been able to meditate for so long until today.
thanks again
I feld a significant calmess, after this mindfulness meditation. Thank you!!!!
Day 3 check in. Thank you.
This was awesome. I like how you kept reminding to turn attention back to the breath❤️😊
Thanks
