  • With the entire exhaust system removed, I decided to cut out the stock exhaust valve and remove it completely. But doing so meant I had to weld up a BIG HOLE and figure out how to weld stainless steel with a cheap flux core welder.... some other suprises showed up along the way but I was able to overcome.

    I’ve ran the auto tune/power commander on my gsxs and let me tell you nothing beats the cost of a simple ecu flash and dyno tune. You will never be able to get the same gain out of an auto tune vs an ecu flash (not to say the auto tune is useless because it does help) I’ll never be buying a powercommander again after feeling the difference. Just my two cents. Cheers

      I hear ya man! But like I say in my videos, I dont live near a dyno tuner, and even if I did, I'd still do it myself. This is my bike and I'm not looking for that extra 2hp, I'm looking for smooth healthy operation. And thats what I have. I'm a happy do it yourselfer :)

    Awesome stuff! Sucks that you still have a couple of weeks until you are able to test that Autotuner on the road. 😥

      Ha!!! I know!!! Uhhhg!!! But…. normally I can’t get out until mid April. And even then it’s for one ride until May/June. But this year might be different. It is def warmer and the snow is melting sooner. We shall see :)

    How did you get the big dent in your tank? 8:28 . Nice job, enjoy watching your videos. Can't wait to see more videos on this tuner. My bike is a 2018 I don't think it has that exhaust valve in it? Correct me if im wrong..

      Thats the way the tank is designed

      Suzuki put that dent in it! 😁On the 2018, the oem diagram does not show a valve. The engine does not like the valve. The valve is bad. Ever since I disconnected mine, it ran smoother and faster.

      @@sstressfl Ya, i'm really happy with the power of my bike. Though I was thinking of getting a bigger rear sprocket or smaller front sprocket to give it more low end punch. I really don't need a fast top end. Id rather have more useable power down low. I am very interested in your tuner. Keep the videos coming on what changes you make to the tuner.

      @@woodknack1 Its a very powerful bike. I remember when it was new and I went full throttle in first gear for the first time my vision went blurry, my senses were overwhelmed. I'm used to it now, but wow... first gear is violent! I hit ~60mph before shifting! :) I plan to post updates when the riding weather reaches Vermont :) Thanks for sharing and for the feedback.

    What’s up buddy, firstly thanks for your videos. And secondly about the autotuner, worth the money? It make some differences than just PCV?. I’ve a FZ1, and I already installed a Dynojet power commander V, BMC air filter, iridium spark plugs, TEC YAM-EE (exhaust servo emulator because i removed it) and a two brothers exhaust. But now after surfing in the website I found the dynojet autotune, power vision and injection module the last one should be optimized fuel consume or something like this). I’m from Chile and I don’t have access to a Dyno for re flash or wherever. I’m not going to tracks days or moto GP races, I just want release the beast, lol. Thanks for your time.

      Thank you for the kind words! IMO the autotuner is worth the money and effort especially since you have mods and do not live near a tuner 👍 that’s why i did it! But also because I like to do my own work and not be dependent on anyone. I think you’d love it. It’s a a simpler and easier tuning solution than manually tuning the pcv.

    So what did you do with the factory harness connection that no longer is plugged into anything, does that just hang out not attached? Wouldn't the computer notice that nothing is plugged into that plug anymore and throw errors?

    • @sstressfl
      @sstressfl  ปีที่แล้ว

      Everything is plugged in... the PCV/autotuner is simply in between the fuel injectors and the ecm. Or do you mean the factory O2 sensor plug? On my bike, the kit came with an O2 sim. The new wideband o2 sensor is plugged into the autotuner.

  • @christianp9241

    Does the auto tune kit replace the oem o2 sensor ?? Or can I run oem o2 sensor with the pc5 and can u feel the power change using the Autotune kit

    • @sstressfl
      @sstressfl  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The autotune kit comes with a wideband 02 sensor that is required for the autotune to work. And I’m not sure I feel a power change greater than my manual tune but it’s a lot smoother, sounds healthier, revs out more evenly all the way to redline. If you’re only running the pc5 you don’t need a different o2 sensor but you’ll need to tune it or have it tuned on a dyno. I hope that helps!
