The DynoJet Target Tune does it all for you. This tuner has been around for a while now, but there is still so much more to learn. I am not an expert or a seasoned user of this tuner, but DynoJet made it easy for anyone to use. There's nothing I enjoy more than Tech and Motorcycles, and this was something I had fun learning, and "Tuning My Skills" on. There are a lot of great aftermarket tuners out there that allow your bike/car to reach its full potential, this is right at the top. Something that learns and adjusts as you ride just takes it to another level.

The best video about Powervision and target tune! Excellent installation instructions! Thanks
Thank You! I definitely appreciate it
Outstanding job on this presentation!
Thank You! I definitely appreciate it. By no means am I a DynoJet expert, but I’ve learned a lot by this project alone.
Awesome video and explanation of the Power Vision.
Thank You! This was definitely a learning experience for me as well.
Love your videos
Keep up the great work!!!
Thank You! I appreciate the support 🤟🏽
Another excellent technical video.
Thank You! I definitely geek out on tech stuff
Great video thx for the info .
Absolutely! Thank You 🤘🏽
After reading the thumbnail, I couldn't get Kindergarten Cop out of my head. "Who is your Daddy and what does he do?" LOL Thanks for another great video.
Haha! That’s Awesome. Great movie 🤟🏽 Thank You for the Support and awesome products 🇺🇸
RAIDER- gogreous editing, have a good day,
Thank You! I try. Have a great day 🤟🏽
Another great video. Thanks for explaining the concepts of tuning fuel injected motorcycles, which is a controversial topic. Now, on the Mac issue. Apple has a very closely guarded OS (operating system) and put requirements to software developers that most cannot simply accept. Now, that is the reason why Mac computers are so much secured than Windows PCs. Personally, I run Windows PCs first because of work and second, because of software availability.
Thank You! I definitely learned a few things along the way. That’s very true about the MAC operating system, and how some software does not meet the security standards. Number 1 reason why I run a Mac. Hopefully in the future, DynoJet creates a software that is compatible with the Mac system. I’ll probably buy a PC just for cases like this.
Good stuff! I bet it’s a lot of fun!
Thank You, and Absolutely! Anything is better than stock
@@RAIDERWORLD oh yeah!
Great video brother. I am so torn between the PV and Thundermax for my 22 RGS.
Both are great systems. But on the new project, I will be running a ThunderMax
Awesome video brother. They definitely need a Mac version. I have a Mac to so I would have had the same problem. Bad ass bike 🤙🏼
Thank You! I Honestly think it’s because of the security software inside the Mac. Still, it would be nice not to have to buy another computer just for that.
Thanks for breaking down the concepts of tuning. I’ve learned a lot in this video. Another great video brother! 👊🇺🇸
Absolutely! I learned a lot as well. Talking with DynoJet, and sitting down with a DynoJet technician, really cleared things up for me. I appreciate the support brother 🤟🏽🇺🇸
Excellent, nice and detailed, thanks! Were the instructions all you needed to get all the hardware installed and make this video or did you use any other resources? And do you happen to know whether re-tapping the narrowband bungs is a viable alternative option (I think I once saw an H-D kit for doing just that)?
Thank You! I appreciate the support. Instructions were simple to follow, but I received a lot of support from DynoJet and the Cycle Stop DynoJet Technicians
Kind of dramatic AFR commands from the closed loop to open loop transitions in the map.
Gotta love numbers
Before PV I was exclusively a DJ cat … they make great stuffn
I was an FP3 guy. Let’s see what tuner I go with on the next bike
Isn't PV made by DJ?
Hey Brutha , slappin video as always. Hows the 472 reaper cam holding up ? Will you be doing a high way video , a little power demo. Do you 2 up ride? Been wanting see what that cam can do. Trying to decide on the 465 reaper cam or 472. I mostly ride alone, but there are times my lady rolls with me. Alright Raider , laterz
Thank You for keeping up on the channel! I definitely need to drop a video going over that. But as of now, I love it!
Thanks ! nice video, could you help me how to get the black and white O2 sensor connectors under the frame between the ABS module I just cant seem to get the connectors thru ?
It was tricky maneuvering these around. I just tried different angles, and they eventually found their way through. Hope this helps
hey raider. i was hoping you could give me your opinion on the RWD front susp. ?
I can tell you that it’s night and day compared to stock. I absolutely enjoy it. To bad it’s not an upgrade you can visually see, but it’s definitely an upgrade worth feeling 🤟🏽🇺🇸
Basically if I buy my exhaust two O2 eliminators for rear of OEM exhaust, keep current air filter as it stage one applicable I can put the Dyno gadget on the street bob 114 2022 UK model I can basically do the stage one on this my self at home, then next year change filter and do cam and pump stage 2 and buy the O2 gadget as I cat afford it all now? This year just desperate to do exhaust there's literally no info on the UK models for this....if I buy the O2 sensor part does that stay on the bike permanently then and not just for tuning if so I buy that in 3 months ( on a tight budget)
Have to work that budget, but you can add this anytime. You really don’t need it for a stage one, but your bike will perform better with a tune
i have a falcon 400cc.. im looking for a way to re map my ecu.. can you guide me in the right direction
Not to Familiar with the Falcon 400cc, but I’m sure there’s something out there on it. If not, DynoJet has a great customer service
I though the whole point of Target Tune was that you did not have to Dyno tune your bike. That Target Tune would dynamically adjust the air-fuel ratio.
Exactly, I also mention that towards the end of the video
What’s the gray liquid name you’ve applied on exhaust plugs?
I applied anti-seize on the O2 sensors, and the bung plugs
So how does the target tune work after you had a professional dyno session? Did it remove the input and changes the dyno operator made to the bike ? I would think that would be happen but I am just assuming
My understanding is, that the map stays consistent with the bikes operation. The target tune fine tunes it when Accelerating/Deceleration, and change in environments. If that helps.
Grate video!
How did you decide what tuner to use?
Why Dynojet over Thundermax tuner??
Thx SGS big bore tire shredder kit 110
Thank You! I’ve wanted to run the power vision, so I can compare it to the ThunderMax. I plan on running the ThunderMax in my new project. This DynoJet Target Tune definitely handles the job though.
@@RAIDERWORLDlooking forward to this video
I bought the PV4 for my 22 RKS. Have you heard any good things about the PV4?
I haven’t actually used it, because it doesn’t allow for Wideband O2 sensors. I know it has BT capability, so it might be a good fit for someone keeping the stock narrowband o2 sensors.
At the time of this video...did you use stock exhaust with just pipes?
No stock exhaust on this. I used TAB performance 2-2 headers with Zombie 50 cal slip-ons
@@RAIDERWORLD So, you used a stock exhaust, added a cam and the tuner with the zombie slip ons and a high flow air cleaner. That's exactly what I want to do. I have everything in a box. I had all the Monday Morning Quarterbacks saying I couldn't use a stock exhaust.
Can’t make a decision between Thundermax and Power Vision with the target tune system. No one can seem to give a straight answer so maybe you can help.
So my question is why would one go with Thundermax considering it’s an alpha N ECM and replace the stock ECM which uses speed density which you can run the power vision tuner with the target tuner module and essentially get a more suitable tune since the stock ECM uses speed density which uses throttle position, rpm AND manifold pressure?
From my understanding timing on the Thundermax has to be adjusted manually and on the other hand the stock ecm partnered with power vision can do it on the fly since it reads manifold pressure.
Do I have this misunderstood or is power vision the better unit since it reads manifold pressure as well?
Thanks in advance
No problem at all. I’m not to familiar with the ThunderMax other than it does replace the ECM and serves some of the same functions as the PowerVision with Target Tune. Reason I chose Target Tune, because you can watch live updates. Also, with target tune it self-adjusts. Wish I could say more about the ThunderMax, hope this helps
@@RAIDERWORLD all good, I’ve come to the decision of going with power vision with target tune myself. I really don’t see the reason why anyone would opt to run Thundermax on a street bike being its an alpha n system and only reads throttle position and rpm. I believe people don’t even understand why they’re buying the Thundermax in the first place. The Delphi computer on our bikes reads throttle position, rpm and manifold pressure which you need so the bike can make adjustments for weight load and ascending and descending hills, the Thundermax doesn’t do this.
@@MarvFitBikesKicks thundemax isn’t evolving as fast as dyno jet from what I hear.
@@palmettolowlife1996 Thundermax is not optimal for street riding and real world conditions as it ignores manifold pressure to just get maximum output from your motor no matter of additional weight ascending or descending hills. I don’t think people fully understand this when they take out their stock computer to replace it with Thundermax
The fact that’s it’s not compatible with Mac is crazy
Absolutely! Especially with all the new technology today
Are you still using the target tune? I just did a stage 2 and I’m considering it….
I sure am. I believe it’s still a great system and keeps the bike running great
Am i able to purchase this if i live in CA with regulations?
Not to sure, but I’m sure there are ways around it.
How much did your fuel mileage change after the stage 2 and tune?
I actually haven’t checked yet, but probably not enough to notice
Once Target Tune is installed, can I remove the Power Vision from the bike? It looks like Target Tune stays connected to the bike's diagnostic port, and provides a "new" one coming off the TT. If I want to add a new tune do I connect the Power Vision to the bike's original port or the one routed to the TT?
The power-vision does not need to stay connected. You only reconnect it to run a new auto tune or upload a new map. The Target tune does stay attached/connected. It works the same as a the Thunder-Max tuner, where it’s a self adjusting unit. It’s a set it and forget it tuner, unless you add something new. If you want to run a new tune, I would just plug into the “Y” connector that’s already plugged into the diagnostic port.
@@RAIDERWORLD Thank you! Keep up the good content!
@@ryancouvillon6079 absolutely! Thank You
does it work without power cmd v6 ? only POWER-VISION will do change or i have to order power cmd v6 ?/
Target tune will only work with power vision as of now.
Stupid question but does the bike need to be started to enable auto tune?
It does need to be running, and it would also need to be taken through different riding scenarios. That way you get the best tune possible
I have PV, target tune and wide band O2 sensors on my ‘14 twin cam.. why’d you say “specifically” for the ‘17?
Specifically designed for ‘17, but never said it couldn’t work on any other models.
@@RAIDERWORLD ohh.. did you mean the map? I’m a bit slow so I heard it as it’s strictly designed for that model year
Does the TT work with PV4?
Target Tune requires Wideband o2 sensors, and the PV4 only works with narrowband sensors
That’s with the fueling cam change? Seems like really low #’s considering the money spent.
From Stock to Stage 2, your are not going to see drastic change in numbers. You will feel the power and torque immediately.
@@RAIDERWORLD with the stage 2 there are tons of dynos of 120hp/125/tq. The 30/30, rs472, and wm8-22xe produce those numbers. That’s why I was surprised to see those #s on your bike. I know what you mean about the feel across the range though.
Has a lot more to do with Mac itself that they don't have compatability not dyno jet.
Yes, MAC has its own security protocol/software that enables certain devices to work, or to be compatible. It’s up to the company that develops these devices, to adhere to these security demands.
omg that noise!! sorry man I can't bear it . .
Just cover your ears 👂”
target tune would be stage 2 >?>
Stage 2….It’s a stage 2 with the CAM job
Lol 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆 🤣 😂 😹 😆
👍🏽
does it display your speed?
It does, but I haven’t used it though
Ya way to much call power vision they will tell you to go to a dyno 😆 for what it cost 💯
Yeah buddy 👍🏽
No tuning software works with MAC, I tune using SCT & Holley, also bout to change platforms to HP Tuners and none of them are compatible with MAC, motorcycles are the same. NOTHING works with MAC. Buy yourself a windows based machine. The tuning software will only work with windows based operating system.
Thank you for the input!
its unreal how these companies can not create an auto tune module to run off stock o2 bungs and it adjusts to what ever exhaust and filters etc like a car can do. a dyno tune is for that day -- An auto tune should adjust for everyday any condition
Hopefully they make these available for any riding conditions
Doesn’t the Thunder Max do this everyone you cycle off the bike?
You spend all that money on target tune then run it straight to the dyno...WTF!
You still need a base map to run off of, and Feuling didn’t have one for this set-up yet. Also wanted to showcase what this was putting out with the new CAM. So WTFN 🤘🏽
Lol just go to a dyno I mean really 😅
👍🏽
