You have to have a body fat of 9% or less to see your abs. Even the slightest layer of belly fat and you won’t see them, even if they’re big. Problem is, to get sufficient muscle growth you have to eat a ton of lean protein and micronutrients, but for most guys, eating that much goes right to their gut. Even in a calorie deficit, I know so many guys who eat right and eat a LOT and they do all these exercises and get strong but they still have 12 percent body fat that collects around their middle. They’re super ripped but you can’t see their abs. Abs like this and on other guys is the result of the right genetics and how your body saves fat. Some guy’s bodies simply don’t collect fat on their belly. It goes to their butt or is spread out evenly. So don’t get discouraged if you don’t look like this guy despite how well you eat and how hard you do these exercises. You have the genetics of 90% of men.
