I have to be patriotic too, I think if Pfaff has some luck the GTD result is theirs.
I am with you, and I am going to go for the #31 Whelen Action Express Cadillac to take a repeat win at the 12 Hours of Sebring.
Always rooting for Iron Dames and AO Racing's Rexy and Spike.
The new Corvette. Not because I actually think they’ll win in GTD, but because I’m a fan.
Definitely hyped for this race. Fingers crossed that WTR and Filipe Albuquerque don't turn their Acura into the worlds most expensive bowling ball again.

I'm tent camping in greenpark just outside of Gurney Bend. Me and my group of friends have attended 20yrs straight now same camping spot. Cant wait for race day! Go Acura!!!!

When P&M Miller Corvette is due a big win, they get it usually. I'm picking the #3 or the #4 for GTD overall win.
Definitely can't rule out Corvette around Sebring!

Hella excited for this race. Round one was good but im not really a big fan od the daytona track so im excited to get to a better track. Hopefully the finish is a bit better than last round also😅😅

Sebring is in rough shape (not talking about the bumps in T-17) I have an issue with the bumps in turn 1.
Does it have to be that way? Do we want more chaos on lap one turn one? Could there be benefits to making the turn just a bit more consistent and forgiving?
Do North America circuits have to be "old school"? are there upgrades that could be made while still keeping the "old school" feel?

This is probably a stupid question, but why don't they repave Sebring? If not all, then perhaps the really bumpy bits?
It’s a decision of the Sebring racetrack. The track keeps the original concrete from 1950 and it’s a part of the identity of the track.
The longer they keep it, the more legendary it becomes. It’s the only reason I can find. But makes it special.
Better start running John I think there will be some people with pitchforks heading your way haha! Kidding aside and as Walker pointed out it's all about the history of the surface. The bumps give it character, otherwise it's a super flat track with little that would make it super unique (aside frome the history of course!)
American tracks, like Sebring, are bumpy and banked. Part of the identity of American tracks. The reason daytona and sebring are such good endurance tracks and endurance tests are because of their banking and bumps. Shows how good the driver is with control, and how well the car handles under extreme load.
Sebring paving the bumpy parts would be like Fenway Park in Boston tearing down the green monster in favor of a regular fence, or Augusta Natuonal filling in Rae's Creek. It's part of its identity.
Even one from very far away place, for me it is "name" I think about Sebring instantly - it is bumpy! Making it smooth would lose half of vibe - teams HAS to make sure cars (and drivers) can handle bumps well or... "well, well, well in that case" retirement it is.
Very excited for the race, however I'm dreading the peacock coverage. Daytona broadcast was complete and total trash.
Haha no way the Caddy wins sebring at that weight. I mean they could get lucky like they did last year, but this year it should be Porsche or Acura. Its possible Lambo and BMW have pace though.
not paying for Peacock so I'll not be watching IMSA this year tired of by charged more and more and more so I am OUT
It’s like 6 bucks a month. Seems pretty worth it for a full weekend of racing
