IMSA's GTD PRO category always comes down to the wire at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Let's follow the AO Racing Porsche GT3 R and Vassar Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 as they wage war with the other GT contenders for the class win. - กีฬา
Great video, lots of respect to find all key moments of this race 👍
Incredible driving man, you guys did all the hard work behind the wheel I just did a little editing 😅 We're lucky to have you in IMSA this season! 👌
wow the legend actually responded thats insaneeeeeeeee
You're now my favorite driver for Porsche! Post some content on TH-cam. I would love to see it. I already subscribed, and will be waiting to see you post something soon... Challenge accepted?
Take a shot every time the 14 Lexus pushes someone off the track.
you'd be blacking out by like hour 4 lol
Kick that disgusting team!
If the Porsche would’ve done this they would’ve been disqualified!
@@rolux4853 The porsche literally murdered another car to get on the podium? And they ran the Ferrari right off the track right after the Lexus did. Literally same lap. And THEN later the ferrari pushed the Vette almost into the wall to get 2nd.
That's just Gt racing. Personally, I don't like it all that much, but it is what it is.
@@ieurobeatkids9378If you don't like it watch F1 or horse racing. GT and Supercars are real racing.
@@toddthezondalover645 Little bumps at the apex to establish your space in a sportscar is fine. That's rubbing. Rubbing is not physically pushing another car off track at exit because they have a better line than you. That's just a lack of skill.
Same thing in open wheel cars. Getting a better exit and giving the outside car a little squeeze is fine. Shooting past the apex and fully running the outside car out of road, risking a crash is a Verstappen move and dumb. I will never like the "Yield or crash" mentality as it kills good side-by-side racing.
Dudeee you should work for IMSA as a commentator, you are so good at thiss 🤠
Thanks!
will you do WEC video too thie year?@@GroovedSlick
@@GroovedSlick What I love is that you give detail on the GTD race. Some of us actually prefer GT3 racing over hypercars and feel short changed.
probably a few races but not sure yet
Sick video. Shame we did not have an onboard in the #3 and also none from the #62. Great job getting it all together, not enough footage from our class on IMSA tv…
Thanks! Amazing job out there, I can't imagine how frustrating those last 25 minutes were for you though, so close to the race win before all that contact from the 14, 62 and 77. We'll definitely miss not having you in the #3 full season in IMSA 😔 you'd be unstoppable in the #3 at Long Beach
I don't know why they never give the Risi car an onboard, I think the last time it had one was like 2015, strange given that its probably one of the most popular cars.
Very sorry about the finish. Amazing driving in the Vette can't wait for Long Beach and many other races.
You guys are craaaazy i shit my pants in simracing and while watching you sickos drive like maniacs can't imagine it irl .
My man is a genius, why doesn't IMSA hire this dude to do it professionally, this is the type of content they need to reach more fans, trying to get this much action on the TV broadcast sucks. Great Job man!!!
IMSA is goated. Best racing on the planet.
WEC driving standards are better for me
@@fqeagles21WEC is great, I like the Hypercar racing there mostly because of Ferrari and Alpine but the racing here for Gt is better.
@@dobermanproductions8184 WEC GT Racing For me Is Better and drivers are cleaner too, wacth Porsche vs Ferrari Bahrain 2022 for example
but but but formula 1...... fiiiumm. Kjjj a clear demonstration of what marketing is capable of doing
@@JayTheGhost-ik5yqand yet almost every driver would jump at the chance to drive in F1 regardless of marketing
Get heinrich a seat in the grello!!!!
Him and guven have been great
I mean he’s good but there’s not much potential seats for him in the big events since Estre and Vanthoor are basically guaranteed. Preining is starting to assert himself as the lead Porsche junior with Andlauer right behind. It was a fight between him and Guven to get the seat this year but as we know Manthey went for Guven. There’s still hope to see Heinrich in green but I think it’ll be in a few years
While I miss GTLM like crazy, I must say that GTD is so good in terms of competition. Sebring certainly makes it all the more nuts.
100% agree. Everytime I start to miss GTLM I watch some GTD battles and remind myself that its just as awesome
@@GroovedSlick Yeah GTLM is a just a great memory of the 2010s in sportscars now. The problem with GTD is that it don't get the coverage that GTP gets. So I follow often using the live in car cams like @GroovedSlick obviously does. But great news...its just about time for Nurburgring season and the start of GT World Challenge.
More manufacturers
Kinda ridiculous the Lexus only took the lead by literally pushing the Ferrari off the track entirely and then winning the race because of it. Oh and the number 3 Corvette as well.
Hawksworth is the Dale Earnhardt of IMSA racing. "Rubbin' is racin'!!". He got away with it; should have been penalized for his reckless behavior but instead he's a hero.
The porsche literally murdered another car to get on the podium? And they ran the Ferrari right off the track right after the Lexus did. Literally same lap. And THEN later the ferrari pushed the Vette almost into the wall to get 2nd.
That's just Gt racing. Personally, I don't like it all that much, but it is what it is.
@@ieurobeatkids9378 stop fucking commenting the exact same thing on every thread
@@ieurobeatkids9378corvette ruining a Lexus race as well, don’t forget that
@@ieurobeatkids9378That's just american GT racing I guess. I've only been following SRO and DTM series for the most part and just started watching IMSA and yeah, there seems to be a LOT more wiggle room compared to the european series apparently. Which is more entertaining I guess, more spectacular and all that - just seems kinda unsportsmanlike when you're not used to it.
Makes me laugh that bmw and Ferrari got penalties post race at Daytona because they out performed their BOP but before Lexus crashed out they were keeping up and then Sebring rolls around and Lexus are still 0.5 seconds a lap clear in qualifying and were superior in pretty much every aspect during the race. If Porsche , corvette or any other manufacturer was 0.5 seconds clear in qualifying they would have had BOP changes through the night .
Still it was brilliant racing yet some what of a predictable outcome
A front engine car out handling a mid engine car seems a little off, no wonder Ford ditched the GT for the Mustang for these races.
These are the videos I live for. The broadcast mostly focusses on the GTP overall lead battle so we dont really get to see this. Amazing to see 6 different manufacturers battle for the win. Great voiceover and a nice cheeky day/night transition.
Really glad you enjoyed. We were spoiled with that GTD PRO and GTP finish
Correction: Barnicoat was in the car from 5:15 until 10:06. So, make sure to give him credit for that spicy pass on Pepper and HoR into t1!
Great work! Will there be some gtp overview for sending?
That Vasser Sullivan team is so good and so consistent.
I feel very confident that VSR could produce similar results in a LMP2 or GTP.
They're probably the most underrated team in IMSA. Easily on par with any of the other factory operations.
Would be great to see them run Toyotas in IMSA if Toyota join
@@maxb4085 I certainly can see Vasser/Sullivan expanding sportscar and maybe into Indycars into the future.
THIS is the type of content needed to get more people into the sport. I had always heard of IMSA but never paid attention to it. Half way through the video and im glued!
That Cut at 11:57 pure Fire awesome work dude
Glad you liked that!
@@GroovedSlick I just found this channel. Beautiful work with that transition. Immediate sub because of that. I am looking forward to move of these videos! It makes a recap so much more exciting than just highlights.
DUDE I AM SO GLAD YOU POSTED THIS.
The Peacock/NBC stream became so focused on the GTP fight that it missed 95% of the GTD-PRO fight for the finish.
Seb and Deletraz were awesome in their own right, but the GTD/GTD-PRO charlie foxtrot was an epic fight. I just wish juncadella and heinrich didn't have that oppsie.
Man, I didn't realize there was this intense racing. TV never showed this battle. This is great. Thank you!
Arguably better than the broadcast. Its hard to capture all the action at once. We missed quite a bit of gt action. Was wondering how the Corvette ended up in the wall.
Great video as always. Love the whole day cycle transition!
Glad you enjoyed!
Amazing video! Thanks for the great summary. This is more exciting than F1 😅
Pretty much any motorsport right now is more exciting than F1
your content is underrated, deserves a lot more attention, keep up the great work!
Thanks for taking the time to pull all of this together 💪🏻Even though I watched the entire race, there's so many things that didn't come through on the broadcast. Looking forward to the next ones 👍🏻
Man I'm glad I found this channel, amazing. Love it to watch. Hope many series will get that kind of coverage from you. Thanks!
Damn fine job of keeping the intensity up in the narration! I tried to stay awake with the IMSA coverage and failed quite a few times.
You're an amazing commentator, and this is very well done. Really good story telling, and cutting it into bite sized portions that made sense with just a little bit of backstory. This really comes together beautifully for me, and the 30 minute video is perfect - especially for focusing on the fights between cars over a 12 - 24 hour race. You have my subscription and attention, sir!
Your Videos are so amazing. I rarely get to watch Endurance Racing currently as time zones and uni make it nigh impossible, but getting to watch it with your commentary when I have the time is so valuable.
Thanks for this amazing video! Seriously not really anyone I’ve seen like this giving a good quick but detailed summary of these battles!
Your best video yet. That last hour of the race was something special for sure. Please never stop making these!!!
Really great job curating the footage and bloody well done commentating! It was captivating all the way! Great driving, needless to say.
Thanks Dude, this has been great ...
Cheers from Southern California 🇺🇸
Cheers, I grew up in Norcal!
Thanks! That is the most awesome racing I have ever seen!
Crazy end to the race. I watched on tv but your video is awesome! So is your commentary! Thank you!!
I love these videos, your commentary is really great and they truly show that good and hard racing doesn't only happen in the top-categories
Thank you so much. Love your comments. You bring so much more exciting in these footage!
Really cool commentary! Helps accentuate the tension between the drivers
Great commentary!! Every bit was exciting ❤
was waiting for what you had to say for this race, it was sooooooo good. Quality video as always keep it up
Dude this was amazing commentary. Please do one like this for the GTP race. I was there a few weeks ago for this 12 hours. The whole race was nuts
really love your commentary bro makes this more exciting then it already was!!
Awesome video format! I would watch every video you post like this. I was at the race and while we keep track of key developments via the timing you miss so much of the story. It’s also hard to keep 100% in step with network delays and what not. This is a stellar recap with just the right amount of detail, hope to see more like this!
Glad you enjoyed, that must have been amazing at the race
Such a spectacle in the night! Great voiceover and commenting!
Dude, your transition at 8:59 deserves a lot more credit. Seriously impressive!
This is proper racing, letting them fight on track is so good to watch, I was on the edge of my seat the last 20 minutes of this video ! Amazing as always !
Whoa great video and commentary thank you! IMSA let’s go!
This was great, thank you!
If you ain't rubbin', you ain't racin'.
Lol
Shoot they was cuddlin
Fantastic narration and story telling. You really make us feel the drama and intensity of this event. Thanks!
Thanks again for the heart pounding coverage of Sebring Grooved!
Love these videos bud. Keep up the great work. Grind it out and you will reach those goals!
Those traditions you did really show how close the margins are in these cars. Awesome work.
11:55 that transition was so clean
Another fantastic vid by Grooved Stick!! Thank you! x.
Glad you enjoyed!
Thank you for this!! Awesome!!
As someone who just started watching these IMSA races this channel is exactly what I needed! I subbed before even finishing the video. Awesome commentary and great work piecing all the action together as I'm sure it's painstaking work.
thank you and glad you enjoyed!

nice video love your race recaps like this !! :)
Thanks! I've gone down more than a few rabbit holes watching your onboards 😅
One thing I love about your content is that you focus on GT3 aswell instead of only hypercars and gtp. i love your gt3 content
Absolutely fantastic video and commentary. So much drama in this race !

Nice commentary & analysis. New sub!

This is an awesome video. I was there in turn 3 for a majority of the race
That must have been amazing!
Wow!!! i need to get back to racing outside of F1. Great video!!
Seeing all the different manufacturers battling it out is pure joy for us automotive junkies!

fun fact: this same strategy was a crucial factor in giving Ortelli, Lieb and Dumas their 2003 Spa 24 hours OVERALL victory in a slower class car.
imagine if we had onboards from that race... 🤤
@@GroovedSlick in that case I'd sure as hell would you to analyse them and post a video on it
