Huge thanks to our expert, Bob Hall, for joining us for this video.

I don't know what I find harder to believe, the fact you got Daddy Miata on your show, or Daddy Miata is an absolute G.
You mean an OFG! LMAO!
In that first photo in the video, the gentlemen second from the left is Norman Garrett, one of the engineers who worked on the NA Miata. I had him for 2 classes in college and he was cool as shit. It's not a surprise at all that the other madmen behind the Miata were also dope.
you have forever impacted my life cause Bob will forever live on as Daddy Miata in my head hereonafter.
This guy is amazing. His story about how he worked on the car in his spare time, and how the Japanese bosses were testing his dedication, is just hugely inspirational.
@@Dr.TJ_Eckleburg Japan also expects their employees to work like slaves...
Was not expecting the designer of the Miata to be a comedian. He’s genuinely funny.
@@anglegrinder Ok, whatever, saying the “inventor” like the video did sounds just dumb. Bob Hall is genuinely funny was my point.

He said OFG

Inconceivable!
I think my favorite part about this (next to Bob just being epic) is the fact that his vision was a fun blank canvas. It was intended to become a million things to a million people. He doesn’t love every idea, but he loves that people made it their own. That’s just really cool to me.
I really liked hearing that from him because that's what I look for when buying a car. I just want a good starting platform to make into what I really want. Heck, I felt the same way about buying my house and a bunch of other things, too. I think that's just the mentality of certain people and you either get it or you don't.
No way you actually got the inventor himself on the channel. Really shows the dedication to the channel, props!
Thank you!! We pour ourselves into this channel every single day because WE HAVE THE BEST FANS!!! Your incredible appreciation of our work keeps us driven when we're working long days ❤️

That really speaks to the whole mind set they had when developing the car. That it was meant to be a blank canvas that can be 'finished' by the buyer if they choose to.

I have honestly never had this much fun and laughed harder watching a video on your channel! This was comedy gold. PLEASE GET THIS MAN BACK!
Im so glad BoBs career as a comedian worked out for him. Im sure we were all worried when he left the car industry
That dude was a great get. Funny, knowledgeable and weirdly humble for a legend. Also the interviewer was respectful, he stay'd in his lane word.
