I believe so! You may need certain adaptors depending on which bottles you try. You may find this site helpful: www.theglassbabybottle.com/spectra-breast-pump-baby-bottle/
I had a Medela with my daughter & it was so aggressive. My sister had the medela with my oldest niece then got the spectra with my youngest niece. She said the spectra was a lot better. I’m pregnant with a little boy now & I just went to get my Spectra! Everyone in the store recommended it also! I’m super excited!! ❤️💙
Awesome! I hope it works well for you. Congratulations on your baby. When are you due? Maybe once baby is born, you can share with us how you are feeling about the pump. So happy you are here.
I had the Medela Pump in Style and it wasn’t a good fit for me. I only got out 0.5-1 ounce per breast when I pumped. I only pumped on days I worked and I pumped every 4 hours. I was swollen and engorged during and after every shift until I got home and nursed baby and used my Haakaa. I researched speCtra S1 and felt this would be a better fit. I now get 3-6 ounces per breast and I feel now I am emptying my breasts now. I am so satisfied with my speCtra pump!
I have a video specifically about the Spectra setup and settings. The setting I mention in the video are a good jumping off point, and you can then play around with setting to find out what gives you the best output/ comfort and results. Thank you for being here :)
I had the Spectra 1 and it was amazing! The 1 (blue and white) has a rechargeable battery. I tried the Elvie and Willow “hands free” pumps and haaated them- such weak suction. My spectra crapped out after 11 months of exclusive pumping, and their customer service was terrible. I ended up buying a new one at Target.
I haven’t gotten my hands on one of the newer Medelas to play around with... but I can certainly look into it for a future video. Thank you for the recommendation :)
Looks like you may need an adapter for these bottles to work with Spectra: www.nanobebe.com/products/breast-pump-adapter-set. Something like this. 3 weeks!! It is a big change but also such a magical time. Enjoy it mama.
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll have to try to get my hands on an Elvie Stride to review... For now, I do have two videos on Momcozy, (S9 and S12) and one on Spectra 2. Spectra is more of a pump I would use for establishing and protecting a strong supply, the Momcozy pumps are much more portable, but I would use them as a secondary pump for when you need it on the go, not as your primary pump, (especially for exclusive pumpers)
@@theaniqa99 thank you so much for the info. I found an adapter for the spectra s2 that works with the mason jars by nanobebe for $6... I cannot believe it worked!
Thank you for sharing this! I thought I had sent you a link for glass bottles that work with the Spectra, but I guess it didn't go through. So glad you found a solution. I will definitely be using this tip. :) and 6 dollars?!? what a great deal!
Have any of you tried both of these pumps? Which one did you prefer? Share with us below :)
is the medela suction stronger than spectra
BeautyGyaan honestly I think the suction on the Spectra is better and more productive for most people.
I tried both and I got better output and less pain with speCtra!
@@mahandrews8074 Thank you for sharing. I have definitely heard similar feedback from the mamas I work with. Yay for more output and less pain!!

MAH Andrews: what setting do you put your spectra on when you pump?

I am so happy to hear that the Spectra worked better fro you. It can be so hard to keep up with pumping at work.
@@KassiReyes Thank you
I really appreciate how much detail you went into for this!
Ortal Levitan glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching and let me know if you have any questions ☺️
I would have liked to see a comparison with the new pump in style with maxflow vs the old pump in style advanced.
Hi, Thank you for watching! I'll have to see if I can get my hands on a new @medela pumpinstyle to review for you all
My Medela stopped working after 2 months. This time around I plan on using spectra!
I hope you like the Spectra. I have had really good results with it so far! :)
Great review about the differences of Spectra and Medela. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for stopping by Seah :)
Great video! Thank you so much!
Thank you for video. You helped us know which one to buy.
You are welcome! Which did you decide on?
Thanks so much for comparing the Spectra vs Medela! This is super helpful and useful! Thanks so much for sharing! :)
Hey, Which do you think is best for first time moms?

Great video! Thank you! I just asked about these two on another video! Lol 😅
Different pumps work well for different people but I loved the Spectra for my personal experience. The settings worked well for me.
@@KassiReyes it seems there are many videos that share the same opinion! It’s making my decision easier! Thank you for being so thorough 💗
Hi Kassi, looks like this is the old Medela pump in the review. Do you have any thoughts on the new Medela Pump in Style Max flow?
I haven’t gotten my hands on one of the newer Medelas to play around with... but I can certainly look into it for a future video. Thank you for the recommendation :)
Thank you so much for this super useful video! Definitely helped me make my decision :)
Does this Spectra S1 work with nanobebe bottles? I am due in 3 weeks and so anxious!

Great review to help moms to choose the one!
Can u do Elvie stride vs. spectra s2 or mom cozy

Can you please make a video spectra vs Madela freestyle flex?
This is a great suggestion. I will have to try to get my hand on a Medela Freestyle Flex to check it out.
Thank you so much. 😊
Can you use glass bottles with either of these?
Glass bottles will not screw on to the pump. However after you pump you can quickly transfer your milk into a glass bottle
