      The Spectra Synergy Gold is a great pump and certainly beats Medela!

    I have low supply due to tubular breasts. I'm using the medela style advanced but was renting the symphony (returned as it was starting to add up in cost and felt the advanced was working about the same). Is it more worth it for me to get the spectra? Thank you!!!

    Thanks a million for your reviews!! They are so informative!
    Quick question on the Synergy Gold - it says on the website it is rechargeable. Is that not the case? Or have they upgraded it? Not sure.
    Thanks!

      The rechargeable one is the portable one- not the large circular one. I wish the large one had a battery!

    Does the Medela cup also get great suction with spectra pumps?

    I will be a first-time mom and I’m trying to find a pump for emergencies and to start making a list of what I will need when the baby arrives. So, for a first-time mom, instead of buying something like the Willow or Momcozy, is it better to buy something like the Spectra?

    How does the Synergy Gold compare to the Spectra Gold Portable?

    Hi! Would you recommend renting out a hospital grade pump like the Medela Symphony Breat Pump that they have at the hospitals? I know at my hospital they do give the option for that so was wondering if that would be a great option at least for the first 2-3 weeks or so to help build up milk supply while also learning how to used and getting used to using the Spectra pump? Thank you so much!

    Thank you for all these videos! Can you do one on the Unimom Opera? I just received mine but will need to investigate which wearable cups pair well and I’ll be purchasing a portable or wearable pump too

    Which collection cup do you recommend with the synergy gold? I do well with the regular plastic flanges as well as silicone. For me I feel that I need a stronger suction from a collection cup than a standard flange. I am wondering if Cara cups or zomee or baby Buddha cups will give me the highest suction with the spectra plug in pumps.

    • @genuinelactation
      @genuinelactation  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Cara cups are the hands down best with Spectra! Silicone flange cups will reduce suction which it sounds like you don’t want

    Also which inserts pair well with the plastic flanges if you don’t want to compromise suction power? Also I do not have elastic nipples.

    • @genuinelactation
      @genuinelactation  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Lactation hub and willow seem to maintain suction as best as can be eith inserts due to their design but we can almost always get better hard plastic setups for this!

    I caught part of what was mentioned with vibration. I had quite a problem with raynauds phenomenon with my first kiddo. Is vibration good or bad for this?

    • @genuinelactation
      @genuinelactation  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Typically not great for raynauds- I tend to recommend avoiding it to help eliminate issues

    Hi there I have a bit of an emergency. I just purchased the spectra S1 and I need either smaller flanges or inserts but I don't know what to purchase. I need an 18 or 16 for flange. Do you have any recommendations?

    • @genuinelactation
      @genuinelactation  หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are hard plastic flanges on amazon or willow inserts at target
