    Laughter Yoga is a form of exercise that involves rhythmic, laughter, and breathing activities, all executed with an overarching sense of child-like playfulness. Some of the many benefits include improved mental clarity and focus, a reduction in stress, a boost in "feel good" chemicals (Dopamine, Oxytocin, Serotonin, and Endorphins), plus better circulation, digestion, and immune function.

    Amazing mate, definitely zingy! Been doing qi gong for a couple of years now and found my practice lacking, this along side that is why the body needs to build that qi and get ut buzzing in a fun way. Thanks man ❤️

    I have a humble suggestion.
    Please... Add a little bit of expression of surprise and making funny faces in your laughter yoga just like Sir Robert Rivest. It will make your sessions more enjoyable and entertaining.
    Definitely it's a difficult thing because it require objects about which we express our wonder but one can mimic theses expressions too. After all laughter yoga is also a mimicry of real laughter 😅.
    I hope you understand my message.

    I love laughing 🥰 and smiling.
    When I was at work Marissa Love to laugh so much 🤣 so I asked "Marissa you like laughing and what about crying, do you also like crying?" And then she said "NOOOO!!!! I Don't like crying and only like laughing" and then she asked me " and do you also like crying" and I said "Ewww I hate crying I prefer laughing".

      YES - it tends to activate that anticipation of good things, and can often link us to good feelings and memories from the past ;) Glad you experienced that Debora - it's a nice feeling!

    Hi Bianca - love your videos! Thank you so much, you really are helping to change lives. Question for you - I love to sing and feel like the exercises are straining my voice somewhat. Or maybe they just tire out my diaphragm / breathing apparatus so singing is more difficult. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!!!

      Great question Terry! Glad you're loving my vids! Maybe your diaphragm workout is wearing you out, maybe you're gripping in the throat (or somewhere else) a little when you laugh if you're straining... and hey, maybe it's something else.
      What *may* help... I'm not a doctor or vocal coach, so, much like the laughter - this is "try it at your own risk".
      When you laugh, focus on loosening/relaxing all the way from your lips, inside your mouth, throat, chest etc allll the way down (internally especially) and allow the laughter sounds to be generated almost solely from the movement of your diaphragm.
      Curious to know how/if this changes things for you!

    Hi Bianca. I love your energy and vitality. Before starting these exercises I feel lots of anxiety and agitation or anger. When I try to do these exercises I feel myself getting angrier and more agitated. The I will feel a small shift, but then right back to the anger and upset. DO you have any idea why this is happening. I guess I am trying to use these exercises to feel better but when I don't feel better I get so mad and desperate like what am I doing that's blocking that joy and love and laughter from getting in. Any words of wisdom would be so helpful.

      Great question! There could be a few reasons, including the frustration at not feeling better (or as good as you might like to feel). Another reason that you may not be feeling better for longer than the session is that 10+ mins of accumulated laughter is best for long term results.
      While laughter reduces stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, it actually SPKIES adrenaline in the short term when you first begin to laugh, which can be triggering for people, especially if they stop in that window.
      So perhaps a 20-30 minute Laughter Yoga or Laughter Wellness Session may be better, to allow more time for your body to release and boost the feel good chemicals and for you to hit that point where laughter, joy, bliss and a carefree state of mind take over.
      Laughter and tears are our bodies' natural release mechanisms. Obviously tears can take over too (and keep us feeling sad past the point of release), when laughter takes over it's a more euphoric release... and anger and frustration are tight, contracted emotions that tend to get stuck.

      Hi Jessica! Yes, recent studies on the "laughie" have shown that even 1 minute of continuous laughter can create positive change. I also know that laughing for 1 minute straight can be challenging in it's own right when you first try it! Practices like laughter yoga & laughter wellness help you to accumulate your laughter time through short exercises with breath etc. in between.
