I have a 2016 Ram. I run mine on eco -4 all the time unless I'm racing to try to save fuel. I have had it for over a year and have had no issues at all.

Be careful had my PC for over a year LOVED IT until I didn’t! 2017 Ram 2 times in last 2 weeks would get stuck in 4th and only accelerate to 37 mph took to local dealer thinking transmission solenoid was possibly the culprit after meeting with the service rep and having the codes downloaded he told me his Ram did the same thing got same code readings I disconnected the PC codes went away check engine light went off and to date everything is back to stock performance! I MISS THE PC but not enough to by another one!!
Just installed my Pedal Commander I got from Moe's on my new Dodge Ram 2500 6.4 Liter crew cab and after 10 seconds of driving I was impressed. I'm thinking of getting one for my wife's Durando. I have 2010 challenger rt...this thing is just a beast out the box and I've installed... throttle body,cai,exhaust, Diablo tuner and ceramic long tubes with high flow cats and this by far you just feel the kick it's scary to a point lol

Had it on my 14 Raptor for about 6 months. Very noticeable change...but, eventually led to a throttle sensor malfunction and sluggish performance.
I'm glad to see you can use this with other tuners. I have one and have had this question for a while. As the PC does not add any power just improves throttle response and gas mileage I've wondered if I am able to add other tuners on top of PC.
You are going to love the combo of the Pedal Commander and tuner together. I run this same combo on 2 of my Hemi Rams, and am extremely happy with how well they perform and drive day to day.

Yes but it's not as intense as a pedal commander.
I need one of these. I have a custom tune with the Diablo and I still feel like my truck has dead pedal. My driveway has a hump at the very end of it and its so annoying trying to try and give it just enough gas to get up the hump but not too much where its trying to throttle into the garage door. Sometimes I resort to two footing it because I just don't trust this electronic throttle programming. Its the worst.

This is not a tuner, so it does not increase power. It strictly increases the throttle response in your day to day driving which is hard to capture on video. That is something you really need to feel to understand.

I have a question, so okay, it improves your throttle response, therefore making it quicker at get go, or at the start, so my question is would this improve your 0-60 times ? Or in other words your 60-300ft in a track?

I have an edge tuner that let's me adjust "throttle boost" up to 20%. Still feels laggy to me. Well this pair up well with my tuner or is it pointless?
Great video but have two questions 4 U. I’m leasing my 18’ Ram 1500. Would love to buy this PC because I find like most stock Rams it does lag throttle response. So if I buy this PC, could I disconnect it before going in for regular service at the dealership? Does the PC void my 3 yr warranty?
joe SG takes 3-5 minutes to install, it's basically a signal booster so nothing permanent. I have zero regrets about buying mine

I got my pedal commander today and hooked it up and unlike others i hated it. My 8 speed ram 1500 ran like crap in every setting except city. City is the only setting id use. Im going to return it

I don't know if there is a product that does this already but what would be nice is to have a commander with a passcode for when your teenagers drive, you can set it to govern or limit how much throttle they can give now that would be worth $300 let me know if there's something like that or this can do that for the safety of the young children out there thanks.
Jared, you could always hide the module under the dash and leave it on the Eco setting to reduce the throttle sensitivity. Just hope they dont find it and turn it up...haha.

Hey what's up, i have a 2013 1500 n done vararam ,87 mm tb , hemifiver couple of updates, 170 thermostat and trinity 1000 , all from u guys, but some times like really rare i get trottle position error code? What could that be? N the pedal commander will work with all this upgrades ?

New cars dont run actual throttle cables that connect the gas pedal directly to your thottle body. Since its a drive by wire, it has a small amount of lag. This product just gets rid of the pedal lag and makes it feel like more of an instant response.
miron kusnecov Hey man just wanted to let you know that this thing doesn't get rid of any lag. Drive by wire systems don't have any lag because the electrical signals are instant. The lag people are feeling in their cars actually comes from the cars ecu software. All car manufacturers add a program called Torque Management. What it does is gradually open the throttle body even when you slam the gas pedal down so as not to shock the drivetrain with instant torque. This way they have less warranty repairs to deal with and cars will have less of a chance spinning and losing control. This product just alters the signal going from the pedal to the ecu.

Just get a diesel truck and tune it. If I would install a lift pump and turn my GDP tuner up all the way, I would gain almost 300 horsepower. As it stands I can only turn it up to stock + 120 horsepower. I broke my tires loose with a full load of Oak firewood in the bed on the 120 setting. When you mash the throttle you can only help but Grin.

Most vehicles have electronic shifters .... your throttle petal /valve are elecronic the 4wd switch is electronic exactly the same ... electric power steering .... could go on and on ....
I agree the less electronic the less electrical problems you can have .... but they are super reliable in all realty you probably have more problems with mechanical sticking and jamming and then strong arming them to work and breaking something then these have electrical failures
I do too. I turned the damn shifter going down the highway. Luckily it doesn't do anything.
0-60 before and after?
It does not affect 0-60 or 1/4 mile times. It is strictly designed to eliminate throttle lag to improve everyday driveability. It does not change anything once you reach wide open throttle.

The pedal commander will work with or without the tuner. I do run this on top of my Diablo tuner with Hemifever custom tuning. Running the pedal commander with your tuner gives you the best of both worlds when it comes to both power and responsiveness.

How does the eco setting do? I’ve heard it can throw codes. Is this true? Any information on if it helps or just makes problems?
The newer bluetooth models were updated to prevent the error code in Eco mode. Having said that, Eco mode is less responsive than stock, so it defeats the purpose of buying this product. Its very sluggish in Eco mode.
@@moesperformance7499 Some people would actually buy this for the Eco mode to get better gas mileage. Not everyone wants to be a race car driver. Also the 07 tundras had a shitty bouncy sensitive foot pedal that is really annoying I'm hoping this sluggish eco mode would actually solve the Tundra sensitive pedal pop and bounce nightmare I'm experiencing. It can be too touchy where you can't keep your foot on the damn pedal because it bounces you around so much. Trust me you wouldn't like that problem either.
So what does it really does for your truck though? Would it affect the computer and any way and also would it work for a ram 2014 1500?
Because this plugs in at your gas pedal, it does not write anything to the PCM. This is why it will not void your factory warranty. It is changing the signal between your gas pedal and the throttle blade to give you instant throttle response. And yes, it will work on your 2014.

I have noticed on my 2016 Laramie RAM that when I come to a stop it seems as if
the transmission doesn't release completely until I come to a complete stop.
If I put the truck into neutral and come to a stop there is no jerk.
Anyone seem that? I don't have any aftermarket things hook to the truck.
I have had it for 2 1/2 years with 12,100 miles on the truck.
That is fairly common. Ram has a TSB update that help reduce that clunk though.
Thanks.... I called Chrysler RAM and gave them my VIN number and he said there was a recall on that. It is #U61. It has to do with Power Train Control Module.

Yes it does. When you start the truck, it will be on the same setting that it was on when you last turned the truck off.

You can adjust the settings on the fly while driving. It will adjust settings as fast as you can push the button to go from 1 mode to the next.
is pedal commander manufactured for just dodge vehicles?
Pedal Commander makes these or just about any vehicle. Moe's only carries the Dodge, Chrysler, Ram, Jeep unit though.

theodore raz - my guess as to why they don't make them for the older 5.7's, is because they were not throttle-by-wire. That's the only way this snake oil has any effect.

That is incorrect. The pedal commander applies the throttle much faster than you can by just stepping down on the pedal further. Give 1 a try yourself, and I think you would be surprised at how well it works.

Paul Anderson is correct. The Pedal Commander is a signal amplifier. It shifts the throttle response range so that your throttle responds with less input. You get the response at 1/2" of pedal travel that you'd normally get at 1" (numbers made up, but you get the idea...)
caliman99 No, Paul Anderson is NOT correct. When you put your foot all the way down on a stock accelerator system in this vehicle there is a measurable lag between the action and the response. The Pedal Commander negates that lag. Reading comprehension is your friend, buddy 👍🏼
Howdy you must be really dumb. Where exactly is the lag? Between the pedal and ecu or between the ecu and throttle body? There is no measurable "lag" in a throttle by wire system. Do you not understand that the electrical signal travels basically instantly through such short wires? And if it did take half a second to travel through wires then please tell me how a piggy back potentiometer that installs before the ecu speeds up an electrical signal?

When you shut off the car does the light still stay on on whatever mode you left it on

Mine stays where I left it but when I shut off the truck I noticed the led lights stay on. I found out it shuts off within 5 minutes but after a week my trucks battery was dead so I disconnected it for now

This will not affect your warranty because it leaves no trace on the truck once unplugged.

Buy the 9-drive on Ebay. I've had a couple of them. Ran one on a 2011 ram 1500 5.7 and have one on my 2006 dodge 2500 5.9. They are $80 and work exactly like the PC. It's actually PC tech in a smaller, sleeker package.

None at all. We run this on our lifted 2015 Ram on 37s as well as the lowered sport trucks without a single issue.

You dont have to remove any trim pieces.

@@watching_you7101 Not sure what you are talking about. We did not remove any trim panels in this video. If you lay on the flooboard, you can just reach up on top of the pedal to unplug the connector. You dont have to remove any trim panels.
I've wondered about these. I hear good and bad. Buuuuut... I've owned a 13 ram 1500, a 15 ram 1500, and now a 17 charger rt. I've never felt that there was ever a delay in the throttle. In my opinion the throttle in the charger rt is even more sensitive than in the ram 1500 especially if you have it in sport or manual drive mode. But the throttle in the 1500 was never sluggish. So I don't know what people are complaining about. Maybe there vehicles had issues or bugs. Which can happen when everything is electronically and computer controlled. Any issues I've had which were minor and not related to throttle...I went to the dealership and they "re-flahed" my truck or did what they call "an update" and it fixed whatever issue I was having. I'm not talking down on this product. I'm sure it makes a difference. All I'm saying is I've never felt that the throttle in these vehicles needed "fixing". Although there's always room to improve.
I’m really curious how sensitive it would be if I had the sensitivity all the way up with my diablo trinity and the pedal commander on sport+ along with my truck having 3:21 gears. I think I see my truck going sideways in the future with all that
Alex Eriksen Even on a stock vehicle sport+4 is way to touchy. Is like letting out a clutch to soon and trying to regain control with only throttle while the truck is lurching forward.

Tuners cant do that. People pair these with tuners for more lag reduction.
Buy this instead for $80. Its exactly like the PC but loads cheaper. Tons of us have compared them to PC on the Ram forums and they perform exactly the same. Works on all vehicles with an APPS (electronic throttle pedal)
