With my ADHD, I do appreciate the fact that she gets to the point without making long intros 😭😭😭 I find myself wanting to watch and finish all of her videos without losing interest. Jennifer, If you’re seeing this, THANK YOU❤
True story! I love walking ever since I was a kid and when I was 17 I went for a walk and met my husband! It’s been 15 years and we still walk together every day! 🥰
My mom is 61 and she walks every single day since a long time ago. She started doing it after a neighbor suggested they went on walks together since my mom was suffering crippling depression and anxiety - my dad thought she was doing to die, actually. Now if I go on walks with her, she leaves me behind and walks three times faster than me, that I'm 25. This inspired to continue with my mom's legacy, I'll definitely need a hat like that lol
I have been walking for years! I am also known for being the girl who is always walking around my neighborhood. I don't wear a hat, but I wear a hair scarf when it is sunny. For the past (almost) year now, I have been joined on most of my walks by my neighbor. We have become great friends because of it.
I walk my dog twice a day. But its not just the exercise and being in the fresh air that benefits me. Today i had 3 conversations with 3 different neighbours so the social aspect and feeling part of my community makes me happier too. Love your sweet videos 💚
You are a good example and role model for a smart woman. I never get tired of watching you. I love listening to everything you say, and I love your little laugh between the words. Thank you from my heart🖤🥀.
I walk or ride my bike everyday. I don’t have a car and I do all my grocery shopping ( for me and 3 children) on foot. I live in Sweden where we have cycle paths and walkways everywhere. I love your videos❤️❤️❤️
My wife and I walk often and when we can't walk in our neighborhood, maybe because of the weather, we use the treadmill we have in our garage. Walking is so great for healthy lifestyle and so much benefit overall. Such positive affirmation. Thank you, Jennifer!!!
I happened to start a walking routine at the beginning of March. I was walking, on average, every second day or so for an hour. At the start of May, I decided to walk every day for an hour, and I plan on continuing. This video felt very synchronistic
Serial walker here, but I live in Europe (Switzerland) where it is a lot easier -what I mean is that the distances here are not as huge as in TX, for example, where my mom is from, not mentioning the heat! I don't have a driving license and I'm 44yo! My parents did not own a car - which was pretty rare to be honest. I'm still seen as a weirdo for not having a driving license but I think more and more people here are buying less cars and using them less, partly because of the price of petrol but also for ecological reasons. Anyway, thank you so much for inspiring us with your wonderful videos ❤ take care and a big kiss to you from Switzerland 😘
it took me a whole year to acquire the habits that you have been talking about on this channel! But slowly I am getting there. Thank you Jen. You are the big sister that I never had 😘
I love walking. I walk every day and I love meeting/seeing people each day that also walk. I try to walk even in bad weather. During the pandemic, so many people were out walking. My husband and I end most days with a walk after dinner (typically my third walk in a day) and while we used to see the same people each night, we are almost always alone now. My dogs are also huge walkers!
I also love to walk every day. Sometimes without music, more often with music in my ears and with my thoughts. I'm not very much into the sports, but walking and power yoga is really something I enjoy. You look stunning, Jennifer. Your skin is flawless. ❤
I walk every day with my baby for at least 2 hours even in winter. Before I had a child ( 2 years ago) i used to walk 3 - 4 times per week for an hour. The days I didnt walk I used to ride bicycle ( for a few hours) and did my work out at home. I love being active! When I dont do any physical activities my mental feeling go down and my body looks so much different. Being on the move is my life!
I've just started turning walking into a habit recently. I used to drive around for a change of scenery, but I've since moved to a very different area than I'm used to with walkways and parks to enjoy in the fresh air. Watching your video has reinforced the value of this habit and I'm looking forward to intergrating it with my daily life even more often! Thank you, Jennifer. :)
I could relate a lot with your psoriasis video. Could you talk more about it? I have been recently diagonsed and absolutely shattered me when doctor said it’s something I will never get away with. I am happy to share I didn’t believe that, I trust my body and cut off gluten and dairy and now 99% rash free. Added red light therapy panel to my routine! Seeing good changes! Never underestimate the power of your mind and body! It’s very powerful!
I am almost 40 and I think I have been walking for almost 3 decades. Years ago when I was around 9 or 10 yrs old, I used to watch my cousin who was slightly overweight walk for 20 to 30 min post every meal. That habit just stuck with me. Now I walk for 20 min post lunch and 60 to 90 min post dinner. What a great way to relax your mind and get some peace. Thank you
My second comment on this video. Walking is one of my favorite forms of exercise because it helps with sleep, mood regulation and it drives me up my exercise. Walking it also rather easy to do for most people.
Yo me levanto muy temprano para ver salir el sol, junto al mar, camino cerca de los 12000 pasos y luego repito después de las comidas unos 20 minutos 2 veces más. Me encanta esta rutina
I just want to say you are the only person who I look up to when it comes to skin care. I found your channel three years ago and that’s how I found out about tretinoin and it has been a game changer for me and my face :) I also saw that you eat one avocado day do skin benefits but I saw it has other benefits too especially for the eyes that’s struck me. Thank you Jennifer for being so genuine.
Thank you for writing that video is not sponsored this way I can skip sponsored ones ❤ thank you I appreciate it and your work. I walk in the forest almost everyday 7-8km when I don’t I have sleeping problems.
I Walk 20 minutes after lunch. In the evening i walk again 10 minutes to go to the gym, train with weights 4-5 times Per week, and walk 10 minutes going back from The gym. 💙
I live in a place in Asia, that thankfully allows me to walk to and from my work for now~ and honestly has been God-send~ I walk around 40+ minutes, and even more if I have to go to the university after work! Other people don't get how I always walk such a large distance, but it helps a lot. I don't do other forms or exercise, except for that one, and I don't regret a bit~
You keep inspiring me. I love the touch of humor in your video's. I am always laughing with you. Will try to walk more after seeing this video. Thank you so much Jennifer😊
I’m a serial walker, and just like you, I’ve been very religious about my everyday walk! Thank you for this video, I hope more people will start incorporating walking into their routine ❤
I would love to see that hat you always mention using, lol. As for walking, I always loved it, but recently I fell in love with running as welll, because besides being healthy, too, it kind of gives me a natural "high", an immediate boost in my humor.
Yes, I have done a ton of diets and high intensity exercises in the past. I have dropped 10lbs from walking 1-2 miles a day. It only takes 15-45 mins a day, you pick the duration!
I walk to work, to the shop and my daughter's school every day. I love it. (I don't drive 😅) Everyone always asking me why I don't cycle. (I live in Cambridge, UK, very cycling city) But I just love walking, and besides, when it's raining at least I can hold an umbrella. 😅😉
I wish to change my habits. I sometimes binge anything from 70cl to a litre of vodka. I pay the price for days. I love your channel as it inspires me to be better. I do it to silence my Ocd. I don't want it to be the end of me
I am so sorry that you're struggling. Have you looked into taking a B-complex, in particular, inositol can help greatly with OCD, along with taking Magnesium Threonate, which can reach your brain, will also help greatly with OCD. Finally, there are AA meetings that you can access both online and over the phone and listen in on anonymously, that may also help you. God bless you!🙏
Was feeling low today ...but this video notification made me smile and has become the highlight of my day today ..thanks a lot for these awesome videos 🥰
Def a serial Walker. Every day ! It’s my me time to be outside in nature , Even when it’s very hot , I live in louisiana , I still find a time I can do it.
Thanks. Was about to go to walk. now I am more motivated. :) Thanks for mentioning 4000 number because 10,000 is what many refers to and is hardly achievable. Living in Manhattan requires a lot of walking since I have no car
I haven’t owned a car in 8 years so I ride my bicycle on average 14 miles per day, 5 days a week to get to work. Sometimes my bike breaks down and I don’t have time to fix it until the weekend. When I walk to work, it’s about 16 thousand steps according to my Apple Watch. Usually a friend will give me a ride home after work. If I decided to walk to a from most days, would 32 thousand steps at least 4 days a week be too much? At the very least, I would have to buy a lot of shoes. Love your channel and hope you continue. I set a lot at work as a graphic designer so I know the cardio is good. I just don’t want to over do it. I’ll be 58 this month and like you, do not look even close to my age. I think cardio and healthy eating is truly the key. Anyway, thanks for reading👍
I am a 60 year old woman with a great, glowing, youthful complexion! I have never used Tretinoin, but I am a full supporter of it. My "holy grail" skin product is exercise! I have been an avid mountain trail hiker/runner for the past twenty years. I put in 18 miles per week. My skin glows from the continual blood circulation. Exercise is very anti-aging. In addition to this, I started anti-aging serums and creams many years ago. No injections of any kind. No botox, fillers, or facial surgeries. Just exercise and drinking tons of water.
Love your channel and active walker here. I found out hard way there is an upper limit (from my experience). I was doing minimum 10k steps a day and increased that to 15 - 20k. Led to chronic pain and soreness on ball of my right foot (been ongoing 5 months). Forced to dial back and now getting better. Listen to your body and don’t over do it and anything for that matter. I recommend not going over 10k steps a day.
I go walking most days, but the area where I live is the worst if you prefer nature and quiet (which I do). I have to drive somewhere to go walking in a less stressful environment.
Thank you 🙏🏻 Jennifer for your video and encouraging ❤, to get the benefit, when you walk do you need to concentrate on the nature? Can you listen to music or podcast while walk?
I think walking and running is like a drug before i became a mom. I would spend about 3 hours walking my entire neighborhood, i live in Hawaii in the mountain area and it was a euphoria feeling during and after. I miss it.

I used to go to the gym 3 times a week, but I had to stop after the band started; I bought an elliptical trainer treadmill for my house, around $1,300. 2 and a half years ago, I bought a new lazy-boy chair, I raised myself out of the chair, and it busted both my elbows. I got bursitis (balloons of blood and infection) on my elbows. One has dissipated (gone away) but the other is still on my elbow, and I can't work out until it is gone. It's almost gone now, and I put volteran on it. My point for sharing this; be careful with your elbows, and lifting yourself out of chairs with your arms. I stopped running because I didn't want my lower body to be toned, and my upper body flabby.
Any thoughts about barefoot shoes? Would love to see a brief, part II video of this one sharing your knowledge/thoughts on walking vs running (e.g. why you choose to walk instead of run) and barefoot shoes (if that's something you're conversant in). Thanks again for modeling such great habits.
New subscriber.m! I have been following your videos lately and love your personality, simplicity and down to earth nature! ❤️ I absolutely loveee walking (next is yoga but postpartum and diastasis recti has been limiting me lately to do many stuff) and has recently started walking on everyday basis and find it to be such a mood enhancer! Not sure if you follow Andrew Huberman, recent podcast with Dr. Casey Means had similar thoughts! I enjoyed that episode! 😄
I walk a lot, I watched another video of yours where you mentioned a “bare feet” kind of shoes you love to wear. Unfortunately I can’t find the video with the shoes. I hope you or someone here can help me. Thank you!
You're basically raising me at this point. Thankyou mother 🙏
I appreciate that sentiment. The power (yours) is within YOU, though.
I completely agree. And I appreciate your advice and reminders. Stay blessed ❤️@@JenniferMyers

Wow good for her❤
I’m a mail carrier so I walk 9 miles per day

My grandmother lived to 102. She walked every morning and afternoon.

I'm getting back into walking. I'm research good sturdy walking shoes. Do you have a favorite walking shoe Jennifer?
Thank you! I find all of contents useful and inspiring.
I think walking and running is like a drug before i became a mom. I would spend about 3 hours walking my entire neighborhood, i live in Hawaii in the mountain area and it was a euphoria feeling during and after. I miss it.
Take the kids along either in a carry cloth when babies and when older a buggy or lightweight foldable stroller (those can be very cheap).
@@Maderlololohio yes I take them but not for 3 hours haha

Happy Friday JM😀n This is Gonna b so Important🎯🔥🔥🔥👍….
how do you deal with rejection and failure? lately im having a hard time
Wish you would list the habits in the description
I used to go to the gym 3 times a week, but I had to stop after the band started; I bought an elliptical trainer treadmill for my house, around $1,300. 2 and a half years ago, I bought a new lazy-boy chair, I raised myself out of the chair, and it busted both my elbows. I got bursitis (balloons of blood and infection) on my elbows.
One has dissipated (gone away) but the other is still on my elbow, and I can't work out until it is gone. Any pressure on it exasserbates it, makes it stay swollen. If I lay on it while I'm sleeping, it swells, if I bend it, it swells, if a light breeze hits it, it swells.
It's almost gone now, and I put volteran on it. My point for sharing this; be careful with your elbows, and lifting yourself out of chairs with your arms. I stopped running because I didn't want my lower body to be toned, and my upper body flabby.
Woww I feel blessed being so early 😃 I also love walking
I love walking too!! Thanks for being here.

Do you think walking on a treadmill is as good as walking outside?
