Thank you so much for taking the time to help us get healthier! 🥰👍 I really appreciate your thoughtfulness and willingness to guide us through the videos you produce. I am very grateful for what you share with us Jennifer. 🥑 👍
Hello Jennifer, just came across your channel few days ago and I enjoyed watching a lot of videos already due to the honesty and sincerity I feel from your content without ads and sugarcoating your lifestyle to fit the narrative. As a Middle Eastern, we almost have the same diet! But here I saw some canned food items that I always consider processed with chemicals and “junk” so if you could enlighten me your opinion from your experience how you come across and feel about using processed food in a can! I am assuming it is because you couldn’t find them fresh and raw in your area! Unless there’s a reason you chose canned instead of getting them fresh. (I am talking about things like Oysters, Salmon, Sardines, Cod liver etc)
Jennifer, you are an amazingly beautiful person inside and out. Thank you for your videos over the years. I am 22 about to be 23 and have gotten out od depression and finally started to implement your lifestyle. I stopped consuming nicotine and alchole, started yoga and improved my grocery lost. Thank you for your advice. Please know its always needed. ❤ you are loved
I am 22 as well and eat so similar to her that’s why I subscribed to her because I kept saying “ wait I eat this too” ! It’s refreshing to see an influencer who isn’t just plant based 🥲. These foods are really beauty foods and helped me a lot with my self esteem ❤
JENNIFER you are the real deal! you got me into using tretinoin, and then I started following your health and wellbeing tips and eating similar to you, you changed my life, I never looked this good! my skin is always glowy, my body is thin and perfect, my hair started growing even my thinning areas started growing very noticeably!
I just discovered your channel couple of days ago. I swear this is the most beneficial channel I have ever seen on TH-cam. I thought you were in your 20s. this is mind blowing!
I appreciate your take on nutrition and I agree. I was on a vegan diet for 7 years, and a year ago I started experiencing psychiatric issues when I had absolutely no history of mental health issues before in my life, for a year I’ve been trying to fix my brain tweaking my vegan diet in different ways, taking all kinds of supplements and I finally realized that I need to open my mind and accept that because of my diet is very likely that I’m deficient in important nutrients. Recently I came across an excellent book called The Better Brain by Julia Rucklidge and Bonnie Kaplan, both psychologists that have turned to research the impact of nutrients on mental health, in fact Julia as a TEDx talk called “The surprising role of nutrients in mental health” so about 2 weeks ago I started to include beef liver, pastured hen eggs and sardines and I’m hopeful, also the book mentions that in addition to nutrition (they called it just “real food diet” lol) some people benefit from broad spectrum multi nutrient supplements and that’s what I’m going to try. Thanks Jennifer for stating the importance of nutrition for mental health.
I suffer from Depression and after 9 months of taking anti depressiva i thought it was time to Stop taking them and try alternatives. Videos like yours are precious❤
Congratulations on taking charge of your life! You probably already know this, but please cut back on your anti-depressants slowly, under the supervision of your provider. Otherwise, cutting it too quickly, can set you back.
Hi Jennifer, I've been watching your videos for a couple of years now and have taken such immense inspiration from you. I don't comment often but I felt compelled to this morning. You've become a great role model to me, and I don't mean to put you on a pedestal in saying that, I have taken to heart what you always say in your videos that people should follow their own path and take the things that work for them and leave the rest, but I get the sense from some of the things that you've said in your videos that you maybe in the past you struggled with some of the things I struggle with, but it really shows in your demeanor and the way that you carry yourself that you have done so much work to address those things. And though you admit that it is a constant effort, a constant journey, to me at least, you seem to have achieved a level of self-actualization. Having gotten a glimpse at what that looks like, I see a path to my own self-actualization (my own unique path, of course), and I really want that for myself. That is all to say that I am so grateful for your videos, they have helped me a great deal.
I like to eat 100 percent dark chocolate paired with grapes or strawberries. Sometimes I put dark chocolate in my matcha, dark chocolate and blueberries.
Hi Jennifer! Firstly, I'd like to say that I've been watching your videos for years now and find them very therapeutic to listen to daily. You've inspired me to improve myself nutritionally, mentally, and to finally get serious and be consistent with my skincare routine after suffering my whole life with these. Some of my favorite videos from you are your food/nutrition videos and I'd love to see an updated What I Eat in a Day video (even if there is no change from it since then lol). Another video I'd love to see from you is regarding your bedtime and sleep routine. I've suffered with insomnia my whole life and I understand how important sleep is to our whole mental and physical wellbeing. I'd personally like to ask you what time do you aim to sleep and wake up at in the morning to feel your most energetic and best self throughout the day. I'm glad that you're uploading more consistently now after your hiatus and I hope to see more videos from you soon! Take care, and thank you for all of your advice and teachings :).
Thanks for sharing these. I'm happy to see you have Alaska salmon as I think we have the best salmon. The eels were running in the Yukon river the past few days so I got to bake some for dinner on Friday. I'm so very grateful for you !
i love this content. i made my first batch of bone broth 2 days ago totally inspired by you and have been enjoying daily. i will always be thankful for your videos!
Basically, I have a big green salad (with grated carrots, Edgar Cayce remedy)for lunch, and root veggies(burdock, maitake, tofu,etc..) miso soup for dinner, not to relapse skin issues. I don't have sugar in my kitchen. Recently I like watching videos of people trying to slow aging in their 40's.. (e.g. Bryan Jhonson😅) Somehow they give me a positive mindset.
I truly admire your resourcefulness. I can see that are not only eating but really feeding your body! My question would be: we know that tea and coffee are highly sprayed with toxins-items … why do you choose the non-organic green tea?!
Thank you, you’re very lovely. I was really wondering about brands, because I too eat lots of oysters, sardines and salmon/ tinned fish, but have a difficult time finding those not in cottonseed or other oils. I’d rather add my own. Appreciate your sharing.
Jen, you really are my favorite content creator. You share honest and practical information that anyone can include in their lifestyle in a very palatable way(literally and figuratively lol.) Thank you for all of you wisdom!!
Hi Jennifer! Could you talk about how you keep up with taking care of yourself in terms of diet if you are out travelling and don't have access to your usuals? Does that stress you out, do you do a "reset" upon returning, etc
Hi Jennifer! ❤ Thank you for inspiring me to make my own bone broth, it’s a game changer! Also I agree with the diversity in foods for longevity. I also believe in intermittent fasting and portion control of course. I eat Wild Salmon and sardines for the most part with sweet potato or squash and either kale or spinach (Change it up weekly) and also an avocado a day! 🥑 But when my body craves red meat, I do have a grass fed steak. I have a cup of blueberries a day and two squares of 70% dark chocolate. I just bought oysters after watching your last video. Wish me luck 😊
Thanks so much, this is really helpful. Can you also share recipes using these ingredients? For those of us non healthy eaters it would be helpful to see the meals
Thank you for this video. I used to eat salmon quite a bit. I think I can eat everything you showed except the liver. Liver and beets lodge in my throat and I can't swallow. It may sound silly, but it is true. I'm going to start incorporating more seafood in my diet again.
Jennifer, so happy you are posting videos again!!!😃👍 No matter the content.! So glad your approach to food in general is not that rigid. I eat pumpkin seeds for antibacterial-anti fungal, copper and zinc. Perfect for gut health and hair :) Also very recently discovered beet and pomegranate for gut health and enjoying them in this Fall season! :) used to enjoy them back at home in Iran during Fall long time ago! 😃🫶
It’s true that pumpkin seeds contain zinc, however, unfortunately it is not well-absorbed by the body (the bioavailability is poor). Animal foods that contain zinc are readily absorbed by the body and thus carry increased benefits.

Try swapping for raw cacao powder instead. When cacao is ingested raw, all of its nutrients are intact, as nutrients die when food is heated. More heat equals more nutrient death. Raw foods, in general, contain more of their own life force and intelligence. And raw cacao contains more vitamins and minerals, more 'happy compounds,' and more antioxidants.
Jen! I just want to give you a big THANK YOU! Yesterday I asked a question on your last video about where do you buy your oysters, and the next day you posted this video WITH LINKS! It's exactly what I need! I am happily influenced, and can't wait to try the oysters, cod liver, and chocolat! Thank you :)
do you have any advice for making changes to one's approach to health and wellness (diet/exercise)? i often get overwhelmed by all the info out there and what to pick/not pick. it feels like you're on a losing battle with so many things to look out for nowadays. would love to hear more from your end if that's something you're open to sharing! thank you for the update and hope you're taking care ❤
I love eating anchovies, I'll cook them down into a paste with some shallots and tomato paste and red pepper flakes, it's delicious with sourdough or with veggies. Good source of selenium as well
Wow I eat the same chocolate & Olive Oil as you I buy mines from Wal-Mart & I buy the same Cod Liver that u have to but I have to order it from Amazon its good & I'm loving fermented black garlic it taste so good & it definitely has boosted my immune system because I haven't been sick ever since I started eating it I'm so excited to see that I'm buying the good stuff for my body I love to do research health is wealth💚💯‼
Thank you So Very much for sharing the foods you gravitate to😊 I would love to see you make a video on a homemade soup you enjoy 😊 Also do you ever eat brown sugar or a substitute like monk fruit , or stevia?
May I suggest you can opt for Cacao powder instead of Cocoa. But overall, I totally approved all your food recommendations coz I also look after what I eat to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge when it comes to health and wellness. Be blessed💕
Such wonderful information! Thank you for sharing all the links and also the links to how you make certain things. Much appreciated! Here's wishing everyone good health! xo
Hello, Jennifer! I always look forward to your videos. If you are interested in creating such a video, I am curious about your view on intermittent fasting since you last spoke on the topic a couple of years ago. Thank you!
I eat similar to you and to the way I was raised (home cooked, rustic, German farm food). I added in seafood and fermented foods after discovering Weston A. Price many moons ago. If anyone ever asks me how I eat, I find that’s an easy reference. I would love to hear your thoughts/deep dive on olive oil and tea.. It’s my impression it’s hard to find unadulterated products of both!
Can you please do hair care routine too please it will very helpful " Maam do consume any supplement if yes what are the supplement you are using "

Jennifer, what are your thoughts on organic ghee? I personally use it daily as it's high in vitamins A D E & K2 . I add a spoon to either coffee or bone broth and whisk or scramble eggs in it. K2 is a subject on it's own.
Finally, I have been waiting for this video for so long. Exact food brands that and the ingredients they are made of. I like it so much and it helps me finding the right type of oysters or sardines for example. I know there are many other brands out there especially because some of which you use are US based, but I am sure similar products could be found elsewhere around the world. Great video and great choice of food!
I used to drink that kirkland green tea, but it is made with a nylon tea bag. If you drink that tea, you are ingesting microplastics. Microplastics in our system can increase heart attacks or strokes up to 4-fold. It can remain in our arteries and tissues long term. It is much better to use loose tea. Even tea bags that aren't nylon are sprayed with plastics. So, I avoid it now. Too bad, because I did enjoy that green tea.
Jennifer, thank you so so much for sharing with us your life! It warms my heart to see other people follow a simple and healthy lifestyle~ and your energy brings a calming effect to my day! Do you mind uploading a PM skincare routine?~
Amazing video with lots of resourceful information as usual! I was just curious as i noticed a lot of canned foods in the selection. Is there any long term concerns with eating canned foods? I know we dont have much options to preserve foods. Are there preservatives in these cans etc? Are there BPAs in the linings of these cans as well?
The linings are all BPA-free… but that aside, my opinion is that the benefits of the foods within the cans are more important than stressing about the container. I cannot avoid all toxins in the environment, because that too (obsessing about it) is not healthy, either. That’s just my opinion, though.
As always as, precise and clear. Good information. I have been trying to consume more nuts and seeds in my diet. But, Whats your take on Mediterranean diet?
Hi Jennifer, do you use the oil from the cod liver to cook or do you just drain it and throw it out? Thank you for sharing these valuable information. My Mom has heart disease so I try to add more nutrition foods to her daily diet ❤ Happy Holidays 🎄🎈✨🌹🎉
Thank you so much Jennifer . Can you also help what kind of products you use for hair . I am looking for a clean hair color if you know something. Thank you so much. God bless.
What a great video!! I agree with your outlook on everything. Some staples in my diet are jasmine green tea, lots of broccoli, eggs, avocados, onions, garlic, cinnamon, and several supplements. With that being said, I’m curious to know if you take any supplements at all and which ones?❤
Thank you Jennifer. So informative as always. Just wondering, I don't seem to be able to get beef liver where I'm from - is lamb liver worth eating instead? I looked up the nutritional info and it's not quite the same but it does also seem to have plenty of niacin, but I'm wondering if it's lacking anything essential that beef provides.
Hi Jen! Planning to go food shopping today after work, so I'm enjoying watching this video to note down some foods I wanna buy! I have tried both sardines fillets and the whole ones. I do not enjoy the texture of the ones with the bones, I hate feeling those "crunchy" bits. I gave it a try but will do the fillets, better than nothing :)
90% plants, beans, tofu, tempeh, natto and once, max twice a week some fisch like salmon or sardines. I like eggs, too. I don't like cheese with one exception goat. No meet since 2016 and never felt and looked better. And fermented food are a must! No processed foods either.
Hi Jennifer, thank you for your recommendations. Could you please share which oil you use for cooking.. am assuming you use some other oil besides olive oil for cooking on high heat.
Hi, I'm so happy to see you I love your videos so much 😊 One question when do you drink olive oil can you tell me weather i should take it on an empty stomach or after/before lunch ,dinner, breakfast etc ?
Just found your channel. Enjoyed this video and realized I share very similar belief in the way I eat food as you do and the kinds of food too. I’m also a big believer in routine exercise including yoga. Interestingly I too was sodium abstinent but then realized I do need a healthy amount of salt in my diet. I will try the salt brand you use. Will check out more of your past videos as well as look forward to new ones. Thank you
Hi Jennifer! Do you ever eat raw oysters? I'm interested in how the texture/flavor differs between the boiled oysters you recommended vs. a raw oyster.
There's definitely a difference between raw & cooked. I eat both. Raw oysters taste naturally briny/salty, cooked is milder. I like to eat the canned oysters in water mixed into scrambled eggs. Oysters are very high in zinc and healthy for you.
That was great!! Thank you. Do you have concerns with GMO/bioengineered foods? I’m finding unless it says otherwise (organic), a huge number of things are that.
I wanted to put this out as a complementary video to my last one, because I neglected to include specifics; hopefully it is helpful to those who wanted to know the particular products I purchase & consume. I've also included pertinent links in the description for this video. Thank you all for being here. xx

Thank you So Very much for sharing the foods you gravitate to😊 I would love to see you make a video on a homemade soup you enjoy 😊 Also do you ever eat brown sugar or a substitute like monk fruit , or stevia?
Jennifer can you please do more 'What I eat in a day" videos please?
May I suggest you can opt for Cacao powder instead of Cocoa. But overall, I totally approved all your food recommendations coz I also look after what I eat to achieve a healthy lifestyle. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge when it comes to health and wellness. Be blessed💕
Can you please do hair care routine too it will be very helpful
I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you!
Please do a recipe video of Korean stews!! Like the kimchi jjigae you mentioned ❤️
Blue , My mouth is watering just hearing the word kimchi jige😋. Yum. You and me both!
Can you please do hair care routine too please it will very helpful
" Maam do consume any supplement if yes what are the supplement you are using "
Jennifer, what are your thoughts on organic ghee? I personally use it daily as it's high in vitamins A D E & K2 . I add a spoon to either coffee or bone broth and whisk or scramble eggs in it. K2 is a subject on it's own.
Finally, I have been waiting for this video for so long. Exact food brands that and the ingredients they are made of. I like it so much and it helps me finding the right type of oysters or sardines for example. I know there are many other brands out there especially because some of which you use are US based, but I am sure similar products could be found elsewhere around the world. Great video and great choice of food!
Thank you so much for this update!!
I hope it helps! 🤗
@@JenniferMyershi Jennifer I rlly love ur videos keep going + is there any updates of using castor oil on lashes cuz I want to start using it ?
Youre very knowledgeable about the topic. Greetings from Puerto Rico
Hi, how do you eat cod liver and beef liver, with what dressings or food pairings? 🙂
Thanks for sharing. Can I please ask why do you eat Oyster that often?
Thanks for this video! I'm going to try cod liver, never tried it before.
You’re the best!! This video was so helpful and inspiring ❤
Thank you for sharing with us!
How do you think about sesame, do you eat them? Thank you~
Jenn, you should eat oyster omelettes ! The Chinese style. I eat 3 cans of sardines a day. Great for the skin.
Thanks for that clarification! So in other words, the good outweighs the bad 👍
What is your hair care routine? 💫
Thank you for sharing ! Love your content ❤ thank you ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing. Are you concerned about heavy metals in fish? Like sardines?
Hey! I have learned alot from you. I am forever grateful! You are my inspiration ! Thank youuu ❤❤❤
Thank you Jennifer!!!!! I love these videos. Its so inspiring to me.
Can you do a full day of eating or a day in the life?
As always as, precise and clear. Good information. I have been trying to consume more nuts and seeds in my diet. But, Whats your take on Mediterranean diet?
Perfect skin ❤❤❤❤
Hi Jennifer, do you use the oil from the cod liver to cook or do you just drain it and throw it out? Thank you for sharing these valuable information. My Mom has heart disease so I try to add more nutrition foods to her daily diet ❤ Happy Holidays 🎄🎈✨🌹🎉
That oil is extremely nutrient dense. She probably eats it. As it’s meant to be eaten.
Jennifer merci pour vos videos moi jai 45ans jai des rides sous les yeux si je commence retinoid ça changera qulque chose❤
If you want to try a loose leaf green tea you can give Alishan tea from Taiwan a go.
Loved all of these! Really want to start getting sardines into my diet as well as oysters! 🙌🏻
Thank you so much for sharing!! You have inspired me so much!
Do you drink coffee regularly? What is your take on curcuma?
Great vlog as always!
Thank you for this video. I tried the cod liver I didn’t expect it to be that yummy. My cat went insane 😂 question. What do you think of honey?
Thank you for sharing
90% plants, beans, tofu, tempeh, natto and once, max twice a week some fisch like salmon or sardines. I like eggs, too. I don't like cheese with one exception goat. No meet since 2016 and never felt and looked better. And fermented food are a must! No processed foods either.
Hi Jennifer, thank you for your recommendations. Could you please share which oil you use for cooking.. am assuming you use some other oil besides olive oil for cooking on high heat.
Always glad to watch you :)
Hi, I'm so happy to see you I love your videos so much 😊
One question when do you drink olive oil can you tell me weather i should take it on an empty stomach or after/before lunch ,dinner, breakfast etc ?
Just found your channel. Enjoyed this video and realized I share very similar belief in the way I eat food as you do and the kinds of food too. I’m also a big believer in routine exercise including yoga.
Interestingly I too was sodium abstinent but then realized I do need a healthy amount of salt in my diet. I will try the salt brand you use.
Will check out more of your past videos as well as look forward to new ones. Thank you
Thanks
