    What type of resistors are those? How many watts? I have a couple resistors left over that I used to keep my turn signal LEDs from hyper flashing and I’m wondering if I could use those.

    For the question as to does this turn off the suspension warning if the compressor is bad. Yes it did on this vehicle. The compressor was completely shot we simply left it plugged in and put in the resistors.

    • @YourCarGuyDR

      It will clear without the scan tool unless there is another issue going on. If you get it scanned and find what the code is that is coming up you can address that.

    I have been asked if this will work for a 2008 Denali. The answer is yes as long as the only reason the light is on is due to the shocks being bad or replaced. If the light is on for another reason you will need to do more diagnostics.

    • @YourCarGuyDR
      @YourCarGuyDR  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Daniel Ferrer the vehicle will run a compressor test at startup. If the compressor comes on for a few seconds then shuts off then it is just the test. If it stays on it is trying to adjust the ride height. The ride height sensors are separate from the active suspension resistors.

Also I dont know why you would put something in like a 50w6 ohm resistor when original connection and shock does not have those components in to begin with,,,, Also why would you put in an electrical component that heats up to a level and degree that melts plastic .... That right there should tell you that it dont belong in your car to start with... I tried this fix, the resistors run super HOT and after speaking with multiple people that Actually certified, this is the feed back received
