Tough crowd here! Great review of a great bike Neevesy. Feisty, agile compact bike that is a real blast to hammer thru the hills pretty hard thanks to very sweet little chassis and that brilliant 821 power plant. This bike is perfect for a run with the lads or can happily tour anywhere and do so very efficiently. Also very convenient with very lightweight but secure luggage, a perfect screen that deflects most wind but still offers a whiff of that real world buzz of a naked bike. Sweet ride.
At 25kg lighter than the Multistrada 1200S Touring this looks like a good compromise for a touring/adventure bike. Much better than the latest rash of 1200cc "adventure" bikes which are far too heavy. And at 12kg lighter than my R80GS, it looks like this will be my next bike!

Hi, is it OK to replace the oil with Shell Advanced Ultra 15w50 that doesn’t have the ducati labeled one?
If you're 5'8 could you still jack up the suspension and get more ground clearance or do you just have to live with it as it comes.
Can you shed some light on the maintainance and issues aspect? Cheers

gas mileage so far? Im looking for one for my 50 mile (each way) commute through traffic. Would you recommend it for that?
I'm 168cm, do you think I can flat foot hyperstrada which has saddle height of 810mm?
more like not getting off the bike enough. you need to come off the seat more on a sm to stop stuff grinding out.

Seems to be the Cadillac Escalade or Range Rover of the motorcycle world. Shouldn't even refer it as a Supermoto or motard.
What a sad sad bike. It exists because the SMT exists. We're persuaded to buy what's popular because that's all there is. Come one, someone make something interesting like the CCM450

I don't understand why this bike exists. If you like a supermoto, buy a hypermotard. If you want to go touring, buy a multistrada. Why would you want to go on holiday on a hypermotard? The lack of comfort and the vibrations alone will kill you...
christ what amount of nonsense and falsehoods ... preconceptions at work inflated from youtube... you clearly do not like it from the beginning from some ideas and not from the real bike. but why do you ride it so much to demonstrate what you already think (inductive reasoning, not deductive)? that looks like some women that couple with men just to keep complaining about some their alleged defects.
