Evinrude gearbox prop shaft seal placement direction - Back to Back - Gearcase seal

You want the seals facing Back to Back with the springs facing away from the center.

The only reason that had 1 seal cause it's got a 2 lip oil seal in it . Does the same job but I think safer with the 2 seals👍

They changed to that double lip seal thats in ur case now
