Today we are replacing the carrier bearing on an Evinrude 9.9 Hp outboard motor. This procedure is the same on many different types of outboards mostly the smaller Johnson and Evinrude models. 5- 30 hp.
Below is a great website to get parts for Evinrude and Johnson motors. This parts place is out of Colordado and easily shipped to Canada, even easier shipping if you are located in the states.

Glad you made this video cause I am going to be replacing the seal in mine. You forgot to show how to add new fluid.
Wow very interesting....you made it seem easy..great job!!!!
Awesome 😎
Sometimes the shaft and the bearing carrier won’t come out easily so heat the outside of the case up and make a jig to help pull it out
Great video guys! So if I have moment in my prop would this be the fix you think? Thanks
Save the old carrier , the location of the Crack was on the water side that doesn't seal anything
Your links are gone. Qhere can i get one and what uear was yours?
At 53 seconds you have pictured the other end with weep hole leaking. Where did that oil come from? there is no seal on that end.
No link?

@@Bansheeboat sweet, thank you!!!
I hoped you had found a way to take out the old bearing and just replace the bearing instead of investing over $100!
Our bearing carrier had a crack in it so we wanted that replaced as well.
