I really like the Tru Feel golf balls. Always feel nice off the club and are great around greens. If I was going to upgrade I think it would be to the Tour soft.
I agree with the few comments on Direct To Consumer golf balls should have been included in this comparison. My favorites in this category are: Snell Golf, Cut Golf, & OnCore. All three offer Urethane Covers for the same price as the ones you mentioned. As usually recommended, you should test balls from shots to the green moving backward.
Most tests we've done put all balls (budget and premium) pretty tightly together when it comes to distance off the tee, but there are definitely some that might fit your launch/spin characteristics better than others which can help. Having said that, it's definitely been a popular budget ball this season, both in the "ink" and standard models
Liked this- Also I have kept an eye out for multi box offers of premium golf balls, so if you are lucky enough to have some cash you can get some great bargains- I got three dozen Wilson Staff tour model for 72 pounds as an example. PS this is a great ball with a firm green side feel like a PRO V1 X
Sorry £25 for Tru- Feel is hardly budget. Srixon AD333 is one of the most played balls by average golfers and thats because it’s soft, you get decent feel, decent distance and they are around £17. I like Titleist balls but they are all overpriced, they spend so much on advertising and sponsorship that they have to get the money back from the consumer. I just think Srixon and Wilson are as good as anything for most golfers. (I play off 15)
Budget ball without mentioning the Kirkland is a mistake. Also not including the DTCs is, I believe a mistake. For $32 a dozen I would put Vice Pro/Pro Plus up against any ball regardless of price...and you can get them at Walmart.

I'm a converted Wilson man. Clubs as well. Just need a Wilson hat now.
Callaway supersoft yellow 👍

This would be the natural step up between budget and full-on premium balls in the Titleist range
Srixon soft feel is my favourite.
I agree... I went from bridgestone e6 switched to srixon soft feel and broke a 100... this ball is amazing

Tried Wilson Duo, very impressed.
Mizuno RB566 soft feel and as long as anything else, big plus very stable flight
Definitely an underrated golf ball lineup from Mizuno, glad you're having some success with it
Yes I use these often they def feel more forgiving off the tee and approach shots. Great underrated ball
Would love a test of the new TaylorMade Speed Soft. Seems to further off driver than most budget balls.

Srixon Distance my favourite
Ikarus is a good DTC brand from Germany, offering a „tour“ and a „soft“ ball making choice easy
Like the trufeel but try the Wilson zip
Kirklands for me

I’m a big fan of those callaway war birds for a budget ball. Being a TaylorMade man I love the speed softs
Both great options at a great price!
First... can't wait to see this list. Wonder if Wilson Triad gets in
Triad is another good option, just that bit more expensive than the Duo Soft that makes the list!
Honestly the new Vice Drive 2024 is pretty similar to the TruFeel, but half the cost.
The Wilson Zip and the Supersoft Max are two more good and affordable ball as well
Where would Kirkland Costco golf balls fit into this list?
Where is the Kirkland Signature?
As you see you did fo enough research into 2 piece value balls and to be honest, I would have pick 5 different balls
What happened t o Srixon ADD 3
Nothing, it's still one of the most popular balls out there that would be very close to any ball on this list
The e6 is aight by bridgestone

Srixon AD333 (current generation) are currently £22.95 but you're not wrong, Srixon and Wilson have some good value options
Kirkland best for budget balls hands down
Zstars fathers day 2 for 1 sale
