They are a great family. I met Captain Johnathan, and his wife Heather. They’re pretty sweet people too. Captain Johnathan blew me away with giving me a bunch of his kids’ books that he wrote. For my co-teachers at the day care center where I work. I never asked him for anything. I almost wanted to cry happy tears.
I wish I could be friends with Captain Johnathan, and his wife Heather. Because of the way the family had been so kind to me. But, I am only considered just to be a fan to them. Not a friend. Even though they both have the biggest hearts ever.
@@JensSchraeder Thank you. The whole family that I got to meet. Was just wonderful to me. From Neal, and his wife Sugayle. To Captain Johnathan, and Heather.
Samantha this is brilliant, I thought I had saw the full video a while back but it must have just been a little snippet I saw. Awesome video and a lifetime memory. Oh and I love the jacket 👍🏽👍🏽
It was all Neal’s wife Sugayle’s idea. She had to ask Neal too. But, I cried happy tears. When I found out that he said it was OK. Even Captain Johnathan was happy for me.
I’ve watched this show since episode one after all the tragic events that have happened to the entire fleet the last few seasons this overshadows those events.
I may be wrong ..but I believe I stood out there at night in Dutch waiting for the boats to go..like January 1996 and had a real good look at Time Bandit. Then my G.F. accepted a letter to drop in a mailbox for 1 of the crew, we heard she went down in rough weather headed to the fishing grounds...oh wait ..maybe that was the Pace setter?
You’re welcome. It was a great day that day. For me. My first time being on a big crab boat like that. It’s my number one favorite boat on Deadliest Catch. Because Captain Johnathan is my number one favorite on the show.
I was so happy. When the Time Bandit came back on the show last season. With Captain Johnathan announcing that he was back too. In one of his greatest ways that he is loved, and well-known for. Pranking Sig.
@@samanthadan It seemed like a great time. I’m really glad you did a video. The shows never give a tour of the boats and I have been curious about it for years. They really seem like down to earth people.
I have a question I believe you can answer. I was telling my wife that John almost died when his salmon boat broke down and that someone "borrowed" a boat and saved him, but I can't remember who it was . Do you??
@@DMac-gh7cy If it was recent. I don’t know anything about that. But, I do remember in the book that he, and Andy wrote. I think there was something about the motor going out in his salmon boat, and he was left stranded. Until he could be rescued.
@@DMac-gh7cy I would go back, and look through the book that I have. But, it’s packed away in a box. My guy Dan’s and my house. Has been undergoing a massive remodel/expansion. To the second bedroom in our house. Everything in the second bedroom. Including the Time Bandit book. Had to be packed away in boxes, and stored in our garage. Or, our living room. We’re currently at the home stretch of the remodel being done.
The remodel has been going on since May 14th. Dan, and I are both pretty happy with the progress so far. We have a great construction company, and crew. That’s highly recommended in the town we live in, and they’ve won numerous awards.
You Hilstrands are a great bunch of guys! She is so happy to be on your boat...priceless! God bless you all, and God bless your patriotism!!!
You can tell from watching them on TV what nice people they really are and this proves it

He sure is. His wife Sugayle is a sweetheart too. His brothers are awesome as well.
I wish Captain Johnathan could’ve been there. But, I missed him by about a week I think.
Wish I was younger would love to be on time bandit cooking some Puerto Rican & Italian meals!! 😊

I can’t believe I’ve never seen this before.
Did you like sitting in the captains chair on the time bandit Samantha
So happy for you. I hope one day to go aboard the CM
Thank you. I had a wonderful time. Neal, and Sugayle were the best tour guides ever.
Witch part of the tour of the time bandit you enjoy the most Samantha
The wheelhouse
If I end up buying the boat I’ll have Sam come out for a season and see how it’s done

Who did you go with on the time bandit Samantha
My mom, and my godfather.
My head would explode if I had to remove the rhino liner in the engine room
Getting to see the Time Bandit was magical. Getting to finally meet Captain Johnathan was wonderful.
