I think that would be a fun scenario to play through. We need more scenarios in general, honestly. Especially relationsip themed ones. I want drama!
Summer is actually my legacy heir sim lol. She has 4 kids, and now is a grandma to 2 kids. She was married to a sim I brought in the game and then Travis had more chemistry with her. Eventually Travis cheated on summer autonomously with Delilah Corey and I couldn't keep that rat. Summer is a gardener and a florist so she killed them both with a death flower arrangement.
The lack of a romance bar reminds me of my dissatisfaction with the Caliente redo where there was a description but no romance bar at all so you would never know!!
Yes I was so upset when I saw that! The original Calientes in the sims 4 also didn't have any romance, but I thought at least the redo would fix that. Nope 🙃

I'm actually very disappointed that EA confirmed that Candy Behr is supposed to be DJ Candy. no one talks about this but if you make travis and one of the roommates have romantic interactions, the other roommate gets a sad moodlet that i’ve never seen in the game before

i was today years old when i found some lore in the sims 4 ! the premade sims used for promo in 2014 & 2018/2019 all have bios on Maxis & actually intrigued me so now i've started a save file with all 40 of these sims giving them the lore, skills & relationships in the descriptions & i'm honestly loving it !

This is actually helpful cuz I'm working on a save file where I renovated the lots and madeover townies. Im going thru each household to make sure they all have jobs and skills before I start playing the file. Now I have more understanding of the complete backstory storyline to set up this hosuehold

Growing up I wasnt allowed to play the mainline sims series but was allowed to play MySims since my parents thought it was PG enough. I sunk so much time into MySims, MySims Kingdom and MySims Racing. These games will always have such a soft spot for me. I hope one day EA will revive the franchise but I doubt it 😭💔. I started with Sims2 which is still my favorite game, but I have very fond memories of renting My Sims from blockbuster (rip) and absolutely falling in love with the game. I could never find it again after returning it though, because I didn't know it was called "MY" sims. I kept looking up "Sims on Wii" or "The sims Wii" lol. I adore Liberty Lee, partly cause the first sims 4 save I ever made I went in blind, and my single nerdy bachelor sim, became friends with Liberty and they fell in love and that's one of my favorite more natural sims interactions
I think such shorter videos or histories are so cool! Like it's a tiny glimpse for someone like me who never got a grasp on the lore stuff and is kinda overwhelmed by it now. I had Travis going out with both of them to see which was the better couple, and it turned out it was with Liberty (for me) and then I read about all the MySims stuff and decided to include Chazz into their household and now he and Summer are also dating, so everything turned out great!
What you talked about with the love triangle thing was actually such a relief about Ahsoka and Steela in Clone Wars for me. It was made very clear there was jealousy but they both treated each other well and had genuine respect for each other and didn’t let it become a problem for their shared mission. In general, my mentality about love triangles is basically like the ProZD skit on the subject lmfao
I feel like Sims 4 in general is a lot of story in text and not so much story in gameplay. Like the werewolf pack “imagine your sim is in a room with frogs”, and not transporting your sim to a hidden place with frogs. Also all of the other pop ups, that maybe give your sim a moodlet but no actual change in gameplay beside maybe the get famous ones where you could gain fame or get fired. And this is another perfect example of “you have to read it or nothing has happened”. I’m here for a game, not a book.
I think the worst example of this is in HSY, you're literally watching your sim just sitting in the classroom and then a pop up tells you something else entirely is happening!
I consider MySims to be my introduction to The Sims (I very rarely played TS1 as a small child but I don’t remember much of anything with it other than popping it in the disc drive). It holds a special place in my heart.
I had a family in witch every sim on the lineage was named after a My Sims collectibles. And in my latest save I'm doing a makeover on the townies and adjust the girls interests for each other, they're such sapphic icons I can't.

I absoloutely LOVE the my sims series. I had so many of these type of sims games on my Wii and DA. I just love the design of the characters so much and the storylines and personalities of all the townies. It just aged so well in my opinion. It just reminds me so much of my childhood and the 2000's in the best way possible. I think I have over 1000 hours of MySims on my Wii because of how much I played it 💀 It's literally the only reason I started playing the sims4 2 years ago because I saw how much they referenced it and how much I love MySims.

Love the video! I personally love Travis but that's because of the crazy introduction I had to him in S4. I was sending my sim around the neighborhood to meet other sims and invite the geeky ones to my new geek club (back in the day when Get Together was new). The moment I stepped on the BFFs lot, Travil burned in a fire caused by his BBQ and Liberty (assigned to be a fire fighter) started chatting with some sim outside instead of helping him 🙃 I couldn't even enter the house to help him. The sheer irony of this happening made me decide to take his ashes and ressurect him the legit ingame way. The next couple of hours I spent leveling my sim's skills Travis was THE BEST GHOST I EVER ENCOUNTERED. He was cleaning the house and repairing items, always nice to my sim! With ghosts reputation in the franchise I was trurly shocked. After he got ressurected, him and my sim just had to get together 😂 My favourite household to this day that I play consistently ❤ Justice for my cheese-haired boi :P
I love the mysims games. I recently started remaking the characters in the sims 4. I own most of the games(for wii) except party and sky heros. When sims 4 came out I was excited to see summer, liberty, and Travis. Candy Behr and Yuki Behr are also mysims character. Although they don't look like their mysims version, and Yukis personality is different. Edit: I also don't own mysims racing.

I just want to say I adore MySims. I have played it through 4-5 times, I go back to it every couple of years. And when I no longer used my Nintendo Wii I got the PC version. The controls are terrible for PC without a controller but I still play it because I love it. Still didn't get the reference in Sims 4 from this family though haha

The MySims series is a masterpiece and I will not back down! Wii and DS, Kingdom, and Agents were all so good, and I really wanna see Buddy and Lindsay show up in the mainline games too! They were the best companion characters.

Growing up I wasnt allowed to play the mainline sims series but was allowed to play MySims since my parents thought it was PG enough. I sunk so much time into MySims, MySims Kingdom and MySims Racing. These games will always have such a soft spot for me. I hope one day EA will revive the franchise but I doubt it 😭💔.

The war flashbacks to my childhood with the My Sims games omg.... I was like 7 years old on the wii trying to learn the building mechanic. It took me MULTIPLE DAYS to figure out how to build the damn chair in the tutorial LMAO
My first Sim actually married Summer but eventually I got bored of her so I made them go through a breakup arc. Fun times. I had no idea she was a character with backstory!

i always used to boot them out and use their house, for some reason, i was obsessed with their home and i used to make triplets or a small family live there. also as someone who knows nothing about mysims, i love how they made liberty and summer happy for eachother instead of fighting over travis - the little 'good for you, lib' was adorable!! 🥲

I looooooved My Sims games, but I NEVER thought this household was in My Sims. Now that you showed the footage, I remember it ! I'm disapointed in myself for never catching that reference lol.
I started with Sims2 which is still my favorite game, but I have very fond memories of renting My Sims from blockbuster (rip) and absolutely falling in love with the game. I could never find it again after returning it though, because I didn't know it was called "MY" sims. I kept looking up "Sims on Wii" or "The sims Wii" lol. Such a fun game, and I love the little details from it that they added in the sims 4.

I've been watching the coollike sims streams on twitch, and since her character Hot Frog has been interacting with liberty quite a bit it was fun to get the lore for that household!

I adore Liberty Lee, partly cause the first sims 4 save I ever made I went in blind, and my single nerdy bachelor sim, became friends with Liberty and they fell in love and that's one of my favorite more natural sims interactions
I think such shorter videos or histories are so cool! Like it's a tiny glimpse for someone like me who never got a grasp on the lore stuff and is kinda overwhelmed by it now. So I loved your "history of" videos you did a while ago and binged them and I'm so happy to hear that you want to make a few more of these!
I had Travis going out with both of them to see which was the better couple, and it turned out it was with Liberty (for me) and then I read about all the MySims stuff and decided to include Chazz into their household and now he and Summer are also dating, so everything turned out great!

What you talked about with the love triangle thing was actually such a relief about Ahsoka and Steela in Clone Wars for me. It was made very clear there was jealousy but they both treated each other well and had genuine respect for each other and didn’t let it become a problem for their shared mission.
In general, my mentality about love triangles is basically like the ProZD skit on the subject lmfao

I feel like Sims 4 in general is a lot of story in text and not so much story in gameplay. Like the werewolf pack “imagine your sim is in a room with frogs”, and not transporting your sim to a hidden place with frogs. Also all of the other pop ups, that maybe give your sim a moodlet but no actual change in gameplay beside maybe the get famous ones where you could gain fame or get fired. And this is another perfect example of “you have to read it or nothing has happened”. I’m here for a game, not a book.
I think the worst example of this is in HSY, you're literally watching your sim just sitting in the classroom and then a pop up tells you something else entirely is happening!
I consider MySims to be my introduction to The Sims (I very rarely played TS1 as a small child but I don’t remember much of anything with it other than popping it in the disc drive). It holds a special place in my heart.
my most recent sim was friends with them, in the span of 2 sims days all 3 of them were mortal enemies with each other, BFF my behind!
I had a family in witch every sim on the lineage was named after a My Sims collectibles. And in my latest save I'm doing a makeover on the townies and adjust the girls interests for each other, they're such sapphic icons I can't.
Summer, Travis, Liberty, Yuki, Candy Supergroove, I think Madam Zoe also is in Sims 4 were all originally MySims~ Now that you've done the BFF household you gotta do the rest of the MySims characters ;D

I was obsessed with My Sims Kingdom on the wii as a kid and friggen loved the weird love triangle island! Looking back it's really wholesome that Liberty and Summer are so supportive of each other!

I don't know about Summer and Liberty, but I think Travis existed in the Sims 3, he lived in the city world that came with late night.

I absoloutely LOVE the my sims series. I had so many of these type of sims games on my Wii and DA. I just love the design of the characters so much and the storylines and personalities of all the townies. It just aged so well in my opinion. It just reminds me so much of my childhood and the 2000's in the best way possible. I think I have over 1000 hours of MySims on my Wii because of how much I played it 💀 It's literally the only reason I started playing the sims4 2 years ago because I saw how much they referenced it and how much I love MySims.
4:00 funny that you said that, in a savefile i had travis knock both Liberty and Summer up, then leave, so while they were raising their kids together they fell in love. They're really cute together too

Love the video! I personally love Travis but that's because of the crazy introduction I had to him in S4. I was sending my sim around the neighborhood to meet other sims and invite the geeky ones to my new geek club (back in the day when Get Together was new). The moment I stepped on the BFFs lot, Travil burned in a fire caused by his BBQ and Liberty (assigned to be a fire fighter) started chatting with some sim outside instead of helping him 🙃 I couldn't even enter the house to help him. The sheer irony of this happening made me decide to take his ashes and ressurect him the legit ingame way. The next couple of hours I spent leveling my sim's skills Travis was THE BEST GHOST I EVER ENCOUNTERED. He was cleaning the house and repairing items, always nice to my sim! With ghosts reputation in the franchise I was trurly shocked. After he got ressurected, him and my sim just had to get together 😂 My favourite household to this day that I play consistently ❤ Justice for my cheese-haired boi :P

I love the mysims games. I recently started remaking the characters in the sims 4. I own most of the games(for wii) except party and sky heros. When sims 4 came out I was excited to see summer, liberty, and Travis. Candy Behr and Yuki Behr are also mysims character. Although they don't look like their mysims version, and Yukis personality is different.
Edit: I also don't own mysims racing.

I just want to say I adore MySims. I have played it through 4-5 times, I go back to it every couple of years. And when I no longer used my Nintendo Wii I got the PC version. The controls are terrible for PC without a controller but I still play it because I love it. Still didn't get the reference in Sims 4 from this family though haha
In my latest Sims 4 game my sim befriended them all during the welcome wagon, then all 3 of them came to stay over and fought with each other the entire time. Not so BFFs. Oh and they died before even aging up, not a clue what happened in that house.

The MySims series is a masterpiece and I will not back down! Wii and DS, Kingdom, and Agents were all so good, and I really wanna see Buddy and Lindsay show up in the mainline games too! They were the best companion characters.
