To add to this, I think Olive killed so many people was to get the attention of the Grim Reaper. You can only have interactions with the Reaper when a death occurs, so the more people who die, the more chances Olive has to meet up with her true love, the Grim Reaper. The first death that happened around Olive could have been the one that caused her to be infatuated with death and in turn the Grim Reaper.
Notice how a lot of the random deaths of non-family members are service Sims, there's a pizza delivery girl, a pest control worker, a maid, it's like she was luring people to the house with the soul intention of murdering them. I like the theory she was killing people so that she could see the Grim Reaper, and they fell more and more in love with every person Olive kills!
I would also include fairy Flora Goodfellow from the sims 3. Man, that woman messed up the entire Moonlight Falls😆 To add contest she swapped babies as a prank and gave a fairy baby to a regular woman and she also turned a baby boy into a fairy whose parents HATE supernatural beings. She’s basically :”It’s just a prank bro”
I wonder how Olive felt when SHE finally died and Grim came to fetch HER into the afterlife she spent her entire life obsessed with. 100% convinced Grim Reaper was the Mystery Sim she met in childhood too, which did something to her.
She'd probably either 1. Just die as usual, the game doesn't recognize relationships in terms of death (bc if you're with Death and he's not in your household he'll still reap souls, I think) Or 2. Plead to live again

In other words, every pre-made adult and elder sim that is single will have it in their memories that once they became teenagers they met "Mystery Sim", fell in love with them, and kissed them. It is the game's way of saying they've had some romantic experience but it's not specifying any details about "Mystery Sim" in case it doesn't fit the narrative you want to give to the pre-made sim
that's crazy that you made that link between pascal and nervous because in all my playthroughs it just makes sense that they fall in love and get married. pascal remained one of nervous' closest friends throughout everything and they make a great couple. I moved nervous into the curious household and he's now raising alien babies, married to pascal, happy as ever. I don't even play it anymore, I left it immortalised as the happiest time of his life

i just wanna say that when i was a kid, i KNEW that pascal and nervous were supposed to be together. they were also how i like finally figured out what being gay was and from then on i was OBSESSED with making everyone gay in the sims and then i turned out gay and i love that for me
I miss the way the older games had so much lore and fully fleshed out characters.. they were definitely cheekier games, but that's what made them so much fun to play and to add to with your own imagination.

Ok ok, hear me out: How about LPs inspired from ye old Sims lore? Like recreating this whole story but in the Sims 4 or doing the full timeline of the other classic characters... I would watch the whole thing, delighted to see all the conspiracies and plot twists come to life.
I have recreated some Sims 2 lore in my savegame - mostly by cheating deaths, relationships, etc - and while it was a huge joy to see my worlds full of Sims with actually meaningful stories and relationships living in houses that tell a story of their own,... The actual gameplay was... Meh. In Sims 4, your Sims just behave so weirdly against their stats? Like they do get a negative moodlet from hanging out with a sim they hate and/or had a fight with recently but they will still do friendly interactions with them? Like, even if you set everything up to play out the way it would have in Sims 2, it simply won't. You'll have to intervene constantly and bring a huge suspension of disbelief with you because the game will make it really hard for you to believe your own stories you're trying to play. Then again, this could at least make for an entertaining LP, if not for an immersive one 😂 I'd watch it

The way they brought back iconic characters and whitewashed them really bothered me. Bella Goth was clearly not white, she had tan skin and black hair with brown eyes, yet they made her (and Cassandra) totally white in TS4. They really did the Caliente sisters dirty not just in terms of whitewashing but also in terms of making them look horrible in general and also completely changing their story by giving them a new mom, wtf?? But originally they seemed to have Spanish and Arabic descent and were clearly of a deeper complexion, whereas in TS4 they are - surprise surprise! - just basic white girls. Hell, even when they brought back Dirk Dreamer as a character they gave him much lighter skin and brown hair instead of black. Can they not just keep the original character designs? They have these beloved well-established characters and they're just like "lol let's BLEACH THEM!"

DID THE BEAKER FAMILY CHANGE HIS NAME TO “NERVOUS SUBJECT”?! You know, because they were using him as a test subject?! Omg!! I’m thinking Olive might’ve named him something normal. When you change a sim’s name, it changes everything to the new name, even in memories that pre-exist the name change it will show it as their new name. Could that be why Olive doesn’t know that her son literally lives down the road from her? Because she doesn’t know that they changed his name and therefore doesn’t know that Nervous is actually her son? With how murderous she is toward people who have wronged her, you’d think that the Beaker family would pop up in her graveyard too! We need a data miner to find Nervous’ birth name! The Spectre family was one of the first I played as a kid, and I didn't really inspect the gravestones or did any detective work, but just playing the household was very scary and creepy, and Olive was my first Sim death, and she seemed to die horribly, which kind of traumatised me. However, after learning the whole story, I'm not too upset.
I love these Entire History videos that you do. They're do in depth, and you're also fun to listen to, so it over all makes the expirenece awesome. I'd really love to see a video of the Entire History of Faries! I know they're in almost all of the other sims games, except 4, but I'd really love to see your take.

About Pascal and Nervous Subject: I was playing with the Curious household the other day and for some reason Nervous showed up. I clicked on him w/ Pascal and it said kiss. They in love babes. It won't show up in the relationship thingy till you have them have romantic interactions but yeah they absolutely love each other and I love that ❤

I love how majority of families in the Sims were black. It’s so damn whitewashed now. Even characters that were obviously black were turned white.
The way they brought back iconic characters and whitewashed them really bothered me. Bella Goth was clearly not white, she had tan skin and black hair with brown eyes, yet they made her (and Cassandra) totally white in TS4. They really did the Caliente sisters dirty not just in terms of whitewashing but also in terms of making them look horrible in general and also completely changing their story by giving them a new mom, wtf?? But originally they seemed to have Spanish and Arabic descent and were clearly of a deeper complexion, whereas in TS4 they are - surprise surprise! - just basic white girls. Hell, even when they brought back Dirk Dreamer as a character they gave him much lighter skin and brown hair instead of black. Can they not just keep the original character designs? They have these beloved well-established characters and they're just like "lol let's BLEACH THEM!"
@@KreeZafi well, olive skin doesn't mean non-white tho. Most of the sims was whitewashed and she should have kept her olive skin but still, as I said: white isn't just pale.

So, when you adopt a kid in the Sims, you have the option to change their name. DID THE BEAKER FAMILY CHANGE HIS NAME TO “NERVOUS SUBJECT”?! You know, because they were using him as a test subject?! Omg!! I’m thinking Olive might’ve named him something normal. When you change a sim’s name, it changes everything to the new name, even in memories that pre-exist the name change it will show it as their new name. Could that be why Olive doesn’t know that her son literally lives down the road from her? Because she doesn’t know that they changed his name and therefore doesn’t know that Nervous is actually her son? With how murderous she is toward people who have wronged her, you’d think that the Beaker family would pop up in her graveyard too!
We need a data miner to find Nervous’ birth name! I bet it’s in there somewhere.

Because of this video, I went on a marathon of the series, and noticed something when I got to Princess Cordelia. Her last name is Thebe. There are Thebes in the family tree of the Capp family from Sims 2, which means they are most likely descendents of Princess Cordelia

It is just pronunciation I understand that but getting to teach someone who doesn't speak the language any name with Le is kind of hard because there isn't an English version or way to pronounce it.

Ah so excited about this! I loved Sims 2 when I was younger but I actually never looked too deep into the townies lore. 😳
I love these lore videos, I don’t even play the sims, and when I did I wasn’t necessarily into the backstories, but these are so entertaining.
The Spectre family was one of the first I played as a kid, and I didn't really inspect the gravestones or did any detective work, but just playing the household was very scary and creepy, and Olive was my first Sim death, and she seemed to die horribly, which kind of traumatised me. However, after learning the whole story, I'm not too upset.

About Pascal and Nervous Subject: I was playing with the Curious household the other day and for some reason Nervous showed up. I clicked on him w/ Pascal and it said kiss. They in love babes. It won't show up in the relationship thingy till you have them have romantic interactions but yeah they absolutely love each other and I love that ❤
