@@1978Moonshine They can be found at any fishing spot. You have more chance of getting them is the sign is sparkling. Sparking fishing sign mean that it's currently a «magic» fishing spot. Meaning more chances of getting rare objects and better catches.

Ive been having SOOO much trouble with autonomy too! Sims either refuse to sleep in a bed, or they refuse to sleep entirely. Sims interacting with each other has also been rough. I thought it was because im on the 14th generation in my save, but its good to know im not alone in my struggle lol

I saw someone on Twitter talking about the same thing, where turning autonomy off does nothing. There's a bug report for it, so something's borked there.

But as someone who has been struggling with mental health issues for 20 years, the best part of this video was Jessie realizing that on the other side of her mental health struggles, it’s okay to be someone different. We’re never going to be who we once were because now we’re people having to balance our mental health, so we need to be happy with progress and not compare the new us to the old us. Autonomy has been weird in my game too (haven’t tested without mods) but my sims ignore everything I tell them and just do their own thing. I’ve had to micromanage everything since the infant update.
The cowplant bush is always available no matter the season when you visit during the Spice Festival. It's where I almost always get my cowplant seeds. It's in the top right corner of the top right planter. If you mouse over it, rather than telling you what it is, it just says "bush". (The other place is in Oasis Spring, fishing at the pool furthest back on the park lot.) I love your new wallpaper! TS4 Iconic!
Another thing many don't know that can ward off the monster under the bed is by putting in the room the kids' light with the hamster on it. Forgot the name. If it doesn't fit the décor, you can just shrink it down into a tiny night light and put it somewhere inconspicuous. Also, many aren't aware that Spellcasters can turn their cats or dogs into familiars.
I'm very new to your channel, and honestly the sims community (though I've played sims off and on since it's beginning) and you're honestly my favorite to watch. I love your take on new sims stuff and your humor is the best. So happy to see that you're back!
Realm of Magic is one of my favorite packs. I just love the aesthetic, how cheaty, but still fun spellcasters are, and the spell mods are just crazy good. .nwn. I don't know if it's just a mod I use, like the CAS unlocks mod, but if not, RoM has cross compatibility with Vampires, in that spellcasters can use vampire eyes. Also, you're rewarded for having a spellcaster legacy family with magical bloodlines that get stronger each generation, and these bloodlines give you more powerful spellcasters.
The laser pointer trick actually only works with positive emotions as far as i know. Everything else is plain red. Happy is a fish, confident is a star, playful is a mouse, flirty is a heart. Those are.. the only ones i know off the top of my head.
Just noticed last night that the needs bars each have a clickable button to have your sims fill that need. Works great for food, sleep, and using the toilet.

I always have autonomy issues, it stops me from playing a bit then I get a craving pick up sims again and autonomy just frustrates me again. Having mods don't seem to make a difference either.
I'm a console player and we have to cycle through full tile placement and half-tile to get to alt-placing, and I use the half-tile placing tool a lot with windows and doors! It's super handy and I'm surprised more people don't know about it!
The way that you described that anxiety of being like oh you’re not ready yet etc etc etc is why I’ve come back to content creating again after 5 years of that feeling. I’ve been proper struggling with it lately too so thank you for talking about it ❤
Plumbella. I remember a previous video where you mentioned you had a pair of Doc Martens 1461 shoes that you loved but they haven’t broken in yet. Dr Martens sells a “wonder balsam” that helps them break in. Start massaging that stuff into the leather, along with normal polishing and they should start to break in properly. I have a pair of broken in 1460 boots and they are *the* comfiest shoes I own.

My cat passed away from cancer 2 days ago (I had him put to sleep as it metastasised to his brain) and I’m overwhelmed by grief. I feed videos like this to help me distract whilst I try and heal with my other two ❤😢
Ive been working spellcasters into my Not So Berry Challenge! It adds so much to it, especially when you have the more mischievous & or evil sims, using Mischief Magic is such a fun twist!!!
My game has been testing my patience lately too lol, I’ll tell a sim to go to bed or do homework etc, switch to a different sim and tell them to do something else, and half the time when I switch back to the first sim they either are just standing in place and not loading in the tasks to actually start, or they ignore the tasks I gave them and do something else entirely

At the spice festival you just have to harvest all and you harvest all of the plants there, and that includes one cowplant seed each time. There are spliced plants there I think or something. I just know I always get one when I go to the spice festival

I did a little hotel challenge. i downloaded a party Grim from the gallery and he was a fun excellent guest. He did disappear a couple of times, I assumed he was doing his job. after 2 weeks I changed guests so Grim had to go but when a guest, and later, the hotel manager passed, the Party Grim showed up to reap them. I was impressed. Both died of old age, btw.
The swimming one I didn't know either. I just thought nannies could do it because the nanny in my house always seems to be coaching the kids in the pool. lol
When you skip forward in time using UI cheats it lags out your sims (not sure what else to call it) but if you shift click and reset them they go back to normal :)
I was playing sims yesterday and I finally had an infant for the first time since the infant update. Immediately after that, my game’s autonomy got so bad, I had to press “eat food” like 5 times just for my sim to finish eating her food. My sims won’t shower either it’s so annoying. They don’t even take care of the infant!

Other ways to get cowplant berries include fishing and crossing some specific plants with each other until you get a plant that grows them. The spefics for the latter way of doing it are easy to find online.

lol The grim reaper is the perfect paid roommate because he has no needs but maybe social and fun. lol Roommates are terribly implemented because unless your house is somehow perfectly laid out for them, it seems to me like the moment they get tired, they proceed to claim that they "can't sleep" and then they move out. lol
Oh, and don't forget that if a roommate decides to upgrade your toilet, they use an _instant upgrade..._ and then if you have Eco Lifestyle, you will have an infamous *fire toilet,* which must be removed or supplemented with an insect farm to dump the poo into every so often if you don't want your sims spontaneously catching fire after using the toilet.
Welcome back! With the cowplant one, just harvest all, and there's almost always a cowplant seed in my inventory after that. You won't see it by clicking on any of the plants first.

I'm left-handed, but learned to use a mouse right-handed bc that was the only option at the time (even if it was possible to switch, I always shared a computer, & it was back when the mouse had a cord, so it was a pain to flip sides constantly). It's probably more to do with familiarity, I've been using the hot keys (that were available) since sims 2; they've stayed the same just been added to. I tend to leave my left hand either on wasd for camera control, or the number row on top, to be able to control time. I always use the home/end keys for the wall placement, so I don't have to Toggle through options. and page up/page down makes it a lot easier to play in multi-story houses with a large family. I used to just make a huge, sprawling 1-story house bc I hated not seeing the whole thing at once/knowing what everyone was up to on different floors.

The cowplant berry at the spice festival is in the bush in the far corner which is just labelled "bush" It appears there all seasons.
They can also be found while fishing, I find them more often at the back right corner of oasis springs park.

I can confirm that the autonomy setting is still messed up because my sims either don't do stuff autonomously or do random stuff that's not needed

It's interesting to hear how you and your brother use a keyboard and mouse!! I'm left handed, but because no one else in my family is left handed I grew up doing a lot of right handed things, so I use a mouse with my right hand instead of my left!

lol The grim reaper is the perfect paid roommate because he has no needs but maybe social and fun. lol
Roommates are terribly implemented because unless your house is somehow perfectly laid out for them, it seems to me like the moment they get tired, they proceed to claim that they "can't sleep" and then they move out. lol
Oh, and don't forget that if a roommate decides to upgrade your toilet, they use an _instant upgrade..._ and then if you have Eco Lifestyle, you will have an infamous *fire toilet,* which must be removed or supplemented with an insect farm to dump the poo into every so often if you don't want your sims spontaneously catching fire after using the toilet.

Welcome back! With the cowplant one, just harvest all, and there's almost always a cowplant seed in my inventory after that. You won't see it by clicking on any of the plants first.

But I loved seeing your note saying how grateful you are to have the privilege to take a break. That’s a privilege I 100% believe everyone deserves, and you deserve it too, so I hope you never feel guilty for taking it. But I also appreciate hearing you recognize not everyone has it. ❤

I'm left-handed, but learned to use a mouse right-handed bc that was the only option at the time (even if it was possible to switch, I always shared a computer, & it was back when the mouse had a cord, so it was a pain to flip sides constantly).
It's probably more to do with familiarity, I've been using the hot keys (that were available) since sims 2; they've stayed the same just been added to. I tend to leave my left hand either on wasd for camera control, or the number row on top, to be able to control time. I always use the home/end keys for the wall placement, so I don't have to Toggle through options. and page up/page down makes it a lot easier to play in multi-story houses with a large family. I used to just make a huge, sprawling 1-story house bc I hated not seeing the whole thing at once/knowing what everyone was up to on different floors.
