One of the reasons I love this battle is that it doesn’t show just the side of the Autobots and the humans battle. They also showed the perspective of the battle from the Decepticons, how all of them were ducking and rolling and covering from enemy fire and one even cursing in cybertronian 😂
3:50 Megatron's growl gives me goosebumps of how savage and epic it sounds. I've looked everywhere for that sound effect and growl, none from any animals either. Actually the sound designer made most of the deceptions growls from a faulty window just slowed down..........THERE SHOULD BE AN INDIVIDUAL SOUND EFFECT OF IT SOMEWHERE

Simply the best scene out of the entire film. I just love it when you have a real-life modern military force actually kicking some major ass against these alien robots which you don't often see these days in most films which I give Michael Bay a credit for it, and I'm not even a big fan of Bay to begin with.. And holy-fucking shit the military in this film simply didn't mess around by the time they send in a B-1B Lancer Bomber and lay waste onto these poor bastards decepticons.
5Oblivion Yeah, if they just simply drop the crude humors and other stupid jokes in this film and focus more on some character development as well as more action scenes like this particular scene where the transformers along with the modern military goes all-out, then it would have actually been a pretty decent action flick film. But yeah, that's perhaps the only thing worth watching throughout the whole film where the military actually poses a threat and put up some work to these alien robots and kick ass for once which was refreshing just like in Battle: LA. Good hunting!

At 5:34 I don't know if you guys noticed but you can see the entry holes on that shielded decepticon from the tanks blast...but I like the fact that the military is strong enough to practilly tear one of his shields off I liked that I also like the fact the team protected them from that shield decepticon thats interesting
These military scenes are my most favorite parts of these movies. It gives a realistic approach to how the worlds militaries would react to unknown anomalies landing on our planet.
Damn I just recently watched this film again after like 6 years and I got chills from 3:43 to 4:33. Goes to show how music can really make a scene 10 times better.
I like this scene. It is one of the few scenes were we see human military forces fighting against the decepcticons and are actually doing something, compared to other incarnations of transformers, where we are absolutely helpless and useless.
I don't know, but... I entered the cinema with low expectations and this movie blew me out of the water... The most insanely impressive display of CGI since Terminator 2.

Megatron looked like a beast in this scene. I know the Fallen is the main villian, but man it looked a lot more like Megatron was. Megatron is resurrected like a boss, nearly tortures, and kills sam, kills Prime, basically forced the Fallen to broadcast the Decepticon's presence on earth it was his idea, and got the fallen to make the threat as opposed to himself doing it. STILL commanded the Decepticons lead the attack, kills Sam. Than get's his ass beat by Prime, and lives on. The Fallen seemed more like a mentor/adviser to Megatron. Than again Transformer movies has dumb plots either way, but it's still a good action movie nonetheless. Bay even admitted to not liking the Fallen apparently lol.
Not that I'm complaining but alot of fans how much they look forward to a Transformers & G.I. Joe crossover. Well if U look at this techncially this IS Transformers and G.I. Joe fighting together. I mean look at all military forces involved here. I can't see anything else beating this and that battle in Chicago in TF3.

The only two things I wished that had continued was 1: Arcee and the twins killed off, I wish she was around for at least DOTM too. And 2: the fact they decided to add *this* little detail on Devastator in 6:40, loved it lol

Basically yeah. Even protoman (Transformers slag podcast) said that this was kind of a crossover and it honestly should’ve been. Lennox was Duke and Epps was ripcord and you get others to play the rest.
Now we just need Cobra Commander to unleash his large ham among Megatron's legions and Cobra soldiers fighting alongside the Decepticons.

now that i watch this scene, I realize that Transformers 2 isn't that bad of a movie. Just replace 96% of the crude humor with more transformers scenes and more meaningful scenes, then you got yourself a good Transformers Movie.

a) Best battle scene in the whole Transformers series less #4
b) We see F/A-18s launching from the USS Stennis, but they don't participate in the climactic air attack.
c) John Tuturro had better kick it out of the park as Seti in Exodus: Gods and Kings, or he will go down in infamy as Seymour Simmons

Michael Bay decided to loiter around a USMC amphibious landing training exercise, you can see the camera crew at the right at 2:11. Perhaps it's a continuation error, or just the fact they went "Hey, remember that cool-ass USMC footage we got? Use that!"
Wouldn’t have had enough power to inflict major damage like the rail gun also their are weapons all over that thing it would be like hovering over an enemy facility full of AA capabilities basically also would’ve been suicide to send choppers after it.
