Once he gets out of Lamborghini form, we can’t discern what his parts are. It’s very cluttered. At least, in the others there was a simple flow of design even if it look cluttered and messy. And God those Transformations were so cool to look at and hear. Now it’s nanobots, because of course it is.

C'mon?!), for me Megatron looked always menacing because of his more raw cybertronian look but there he looked like a human in a sleek armor. But they aswell showed less and less transformation with parts more like right away switching modes that not looked making "sense" unlike 1-3 Bots. Also disliked how humanoid they got resulting in somewhat kind of clothing(coats,helmets,beards), faces, some smoking, using ammo/regular weapons lookalikes like a shotgun or then just use metal melee weapons..not to mention the mess of personality of Decepticons in the 5th..
Blackout's transformation is my number one scene. Actually, his whole first appearance is my number one scene. It just completely set the original tone for the movies and the Decepticons. Having what seems to be a normal helicopter suddenly transform (with the old sound effect), completely ignoring everyone shooting at it, tearing apart the base until the number of survivors are in the single digits... Just amazing.

Blackout’s helicopter blades suddenly stopping before his transformation will always be top tier. Edit: Just to sum it up for you guys, I saw it opening day with my pops and was skeptical as to what the cgi would look like and when those freakin blades stopped me and my pops said “oh shit” at the same time lol. Even everything leading up to that moment (the suspense of the pilot not communicating) made that one of the coolest scenes ever.

It’s been a long, long time since the first movie came out and my goodness, does the CGI still look amazing after 15 years. It was absolutely groundbreaking back in 2007, and it still holds up perfectly. Mad respect to the CGI team and ILM for these scenes, cuz they are such a spectacle to watch.

The first film from 2007 still really holds up. I actually think the last few movies (in addition to just being bad films, with the exception of Bumblebee which was great), went too far with the sort of “nano-technology” of the transformations where every character is a shapeshifter, instead of the vehicle form having a bearing on how they change. In the first 3 movies they actually looked realistic, which is what blew people away.

Well, the series is more of a gladiator showcase than a complex story, so to me, narrative takes a backseat, so that we can see metal titans smash each other to bits. And the absolute behemoth devastator is makes for a very formidable opponent. Shame that he was defeated cheaply by a ship, would’ve made more sense for prime merged with jetfire to take him down.

What I love about Transformers is how they aren’t robots, they are aliens that have the capabilities to transform into vehicles and now with Rise of the Beasts, they are introducing Maximals, Predacons and Terracons which are basically animals and dinosaurs. Starsceam, Lord of the Seekers. Definitely the most bad ass one, comes in at Mach speed, transforms and lays down a quick beating and takes off before you even know it. Black out scene is goated as well, however my favorite is when star scream takes down the other jets, transforming in air back and forth

The best scene is this entire franchise is and always will be when the Autobots first arrive on Earth. The music, sound design, visuals all work together in perfect harmony. The cybertron sequence from Bumblebee is a close second.
After watching the video, i saw a transformation missing, optimus transforming in mission city… that makes me think, how about making a poll with all the movie transformations and let the fans choose ;)
In my opinion, number 10 should be number one. I will never forget the first transformation we saw. The chopper coming in, the hologram, the transformation, then the sound effects of the emp waves and guns. Sorry but i just cant understand why that one is below so many bad ones.
This is the one that I immediately think of as number 1. Seeing the first one for the first time as a child, I remember being in the theater with my brothers and dad and just seeing this, the feeling was unreal - and from a CG standpoint this was just incredible. I still smile seeing it.
Ironhide saying Optimus Prime was pissed, and then seeing the steam or smoke whatever coming out of exhausts was a nice touch to the cartoonish steam out for anger. Subtle detail there is awesome
The amount of work and detail that went into the first 3 movies transformations is amazing. So many moving parts and so much attention to detail not to mention every Transformer has their own signature transforming sound effect like you could tell who was transforming just by the sound alone. The last 2 Bayformers, the Bumblebee movie and Rise of the Beasts dont pay as much attention to the little details which bugs me a little, well a lot actually. They reuse a lot of sound effects for new characters, reuse character models and even reuse transforming animation.

I think what i miss about the bayformers are the transformation shots and the sound design ( it has a wow factor to it) , the bumblebee movie and the upcoming Rise of the beast movie is great but they lack some of those extra topings

Those transformations look the best in my opinion. But DAMN with so many hundreds of moving parts. How on earth does one even begin to animate such a thing? Talk about an animators nightmare. Where do they even start?!
Regardless, im thankfull as fuck for the animators unbelievable skills. Cos this is such a visual treat its unreal.
Blackout transformation can be argued for #1 spot too.
The best scene is this entire franchise is and always will be when the Autobots first arrive on Earth. The music, sound design, visuals all work together in perfect harmony.
The cybertron sequence from Bumblebee is a close second.
Ironhide transformation gave me chills back then, numb 8 still my favorite one to this day.

After watching the video, i saw a transformation missing, optimus transforming in mission city… that makes me think, how about making a poll with all the movie transformations and let the fans choose ;)

In my opinion, number 10 should be number one.
I will never forget the first transformation we saw. The chopper coming in, the hologram, the transformation, then the sound effects of the emp waves and guns.
Sorry but i just cant understand why that one is below so many bad ones.
This is the one that I immediately think of as number 1. Seeing the first one for the first time as a child, I remember being in the theater with my brothers and dad and just seeing this, the feeling was unreal - and from a CG standpoint this was just incredible. I still smile seeing it.
@Tylerrr324 the way they blended practical with CG was perfect. Now it's just all CG. I wouldn't be surprised if none of those cars are even on set.
It’ll always be number one for me but It should at least be number 2 behind earth arrival but nothing comes close to these 2 scenes

Ironhide saying Optimus Prime was pissed, and then seeing the steam or smoke whatever coming out of exhausts was a nice touch to the cartoonish steam out for anger. Subtle detail there is awesome
The amount of work and detail that went into the first 3 movies transformations is amazing. So many moving parts and so much attention to detail not to mention every Transformer has their own signature transforming sound effect like you could tell who was transforming just by the sound alone. The last 2 Bayformers, the Bumblebee movie and Rise of the Beasts dont pay as much attention to the little details which bugs me a little, well a lot actually. They reuse a lot of sound effects for new characters, reuse character models and even reuse transforming animation.

I think what i miss about the bayformers are the transformation shots and the sound design ( it has a wow factor to it) , the bumblebee movie and the upcoming Rise of the beast movie is great but they lack some of those extra topings
