Welcome to the capital of North Macedonia! If you're looking for a great AirBnb stay check out the link in the description.
what a unique mix of cultures! I had never heard of Skopje before this, so wonderful to learn something new!
It's a fascinating city.
This European city looks very nice, the place looks cool too. The architecture looks quite unique, looks like a lively city with a lot to see and do. Looking forward to seeing more.
Oh the next video is a doozy
I've not really looked into Macedonia much so tgis was nice.
Very informative as always.
The bridges and historical architecture look pretty.
Omelet and chips yummy the local bread looks delicious.
Your airb&b looks great wow 1970s style.
Loved the old part of the city.
Wow that pastry pot looks delicious too.
I miss the apartment. It was very comfy
As always you are super awesome. The content and presentation both are so good, I did not know when 25 minutes passed, Thanks again for so many detailed videos from ticketing to food to places.
You are most welcome my friend.
This is a nice AirBnB. Very informative and thanks for the tip. As usual, great food.
Thanks
Thank you for this video!! My family is moving to Skopje next year and this video is super helpful
Glad I could be of help.
I discovered your channel and I'm loving your recent travels!
Thank you for joining the journey! If you have any questions about the places I've traveled to don't hesitate to ask
That's a nice Air Bnb. Nice mix of culture and very well presented. The dinner looks yum.
Thanks
Great info, never thought of visiting Macedonia 🤔
Well worth it. A great budget spot.
Such a captivating journey! Loved how you showcased the vibrant mix of cultures in Skopje. The dinner looked absolutely delicious. Thanks for taking us along on this adventure!
Glad you came along.
Hard to pick a favorite place we have been.... favorite destination in 2023 was pictured rocks national lakeshore in upper peninsula Michigan. The bucket list trip for the girls is 100% Texas (they obviously paid attention to your Texas videos). The girls also love your cat friend!
That's a part of the US I haven't yet. Upper Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota. Been to the lower parts of those states but, never the upper parts.
Appears to be a very beautiful Road Trip. I enjoyed the views. Barcelona is quite a beautiful place.
Barcelona?
It’s funny that right before you went into the Airbnb tour, I had an Airbnb ad lol. Well done TH-cam. But that Airbnb looks really nice. It will really allow you to settle in and stay a while. And oh no, I couldn’t deal with the pollution. My allergies would not work with that. My favorite place I have traveled to is France. But South Africa, Cuba and Brazil definitely come in close behind lol. And I’m still trying to get to Ghana which was postponed from 2020 as well.
Ooo Cuba and Brazil huh? Haven't been yet. Any specific place to visit?
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon Brazil has sooo much to offer. But I would definitely say get to Foz de Iguaçu and Rio. As a start. But Florianopolis great, Porte Alegre and many more destinations.
As for Cuba, you could visit the entire island while there. But definitely must see (and will probably enter through) Havana and Trinidad Cuba is a nice add on away from the city. But Cuba, don’t expect top notch cuisine.
Your Airbnb was so nice!! I love that Sky is a regular guest on your travels. The dinner and lunch looked quite nice. Good info about getting a receipt of stay - didn't know that was a thing. Important tip! The scenery around the town was beautiful - would love to visit.
Yeah it was a left curve when I was told about the receipt. If my AirBnb host hadn't told me I wouldn't have known.
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon You think they would advertise that more for potential travellers! The joys of travelling - adding another thing to my list to research in destinations lol.
I would love to visit Alaska and Hawaii 😊
I still need to do Alaska. One of the few states I haven't done yet.
wow i was here just over a year ago now! Agree it is a really interesting city. I had a super cheap air bnb there, not as nice (quite) as yours but I was really happy there, like 40AUD a night so 28USD. Two bed rooms too. great place to spend a bit of time. Hope youre not going to Albania next because otherwise i'll feel like you're simply copying this segment of my 2023 trip!!! love your work sir!
Pretty close for the next two videos. I have one more video in Skopje and then I have one in Tirana before heading up to Kotor
woah second comment - 'Receipt of stay'????? this must be new because I hadnt heard of it and definitely didn't get one!
😂 if you were there in 2023 technically you probably needed one. That would be on whoever you stayed with for not helping you with that. Generally it's not something that gets checked. We never had anyone ask for ours even on exit. I think it's just something to have in case you get stopped by cops
Skopje Macedonian City looks fantastic and wonderful views of the city Skopje I love the city off Skopje is great Sity I LOVE MY CITY SKOPJE
It did me well.
11:55: the area has a rich long history... "the Macedonian kingdom"... Correction: the ancient Macedonian kingdom was not in Skopje. The capital was Pella in Greece. It was a Hellenic kingdom, not a Slavic. Please refer to archaeology and history for accurate information. Also, this country is called "North Macedonia" as indicated on the video title, not "Macedonia" as you mention in the video. Macedonia is a region in Greece, it is there since antiquity.
before 25 centuries FILIP MACEDONIAN KINGDOM ! ! !
Slavo-bot busted!!!
It's North Macedonia.
Macedonia, and everything related including its history, is greek.
So I've been told.
Haha common Tactic coming from Ethiopian Greek .
Macedonia 🇲🇰 for MACEDONIANS
GLORY for MACEDONIA 🇲🇰
GOD and COUNTRY
@@MACEDONIAbitola A common tactic from you history thieves is Insults and slander. Google is free. World body of knowledge acknowledges the Greekess of ancient Macedonia. So it's even on a academic level. So keep slandering because that's all you got😎
@@sakisgr1396 Greece has Occupied AEGEAN Macedonia many of the Heroes were from there just cause Greece Stolen that part Dosent mean that there wasn’t Macedonians there till today there are still Macedonians there.
Bulgaria has Occupied PIRIN Macedonia that’s why many Heroes were from that part also that Bulgaria has Stolen.
And VARDAR Macedonia which was Occupied by Serbia but they gave us Independence in so Now we are Waiting for the Independence for AEGEAN and PIRIN Macedonia to be United with VARDAR Macedonia to be UNITED MACEDONIA 🇲🇰
@@AdventuresOfATravelingDon Don't believe everything you've been told. 🤫🤫Some obsessives who post political comments can't distinguish between nationalistic ravings and true history, let alone that this video is about contemporary times. Enjoy your travels.
