Skopje, North Macedonia - Before coming to North Macedonia, I had no idea what I would find to eat in this city. I wasn't sure if there were more Greek influences or Balkan influences in the food and whether there was anything interesting to even try in the country. However, I quickly learned that Macedonian food is some of the richest food you will find in the Balkans. From delicious fatty meats to incredibly unique pastries only found in Macedonia, the cuisine of Macedonia is so diverse and has so many interesting foods to try.
