Great video as always! Just adding for anyone reading the comments that Arctic Haze, The Summoner, Tommy's Matchbook, Vex Mythoclast and Hard Light pair well with Burning Steps, the Titan leg Exotic that gives a 20% damage buff for 10 seconds after getting 2 Solar energy weapon kills. It helps all those weapons I listed significantly in 6v6 gameplay if you start going on a spree.
YESDD. Did auto rifles are my favorite. Suros has been my favorite weapon ever since destiny 1. I have 25,000+ pvp kills on my Suros in destiny 2 after I master worked it
Hardlight changing elements is actually useful. Depending on the maps lighting it has more of a blinding effect. Dark colored maps like titans wormhaven are great for arc and solar
Turned this off once I saw Cerberus is D Tier. It is A Tier at least! Specifically cause all the dumb things he placed in B Tier. The placement of these autos and their Tiers makes no sense.
I used 450 rpm auto rifles like Hazard of the Cast to good effect in PVP. The trick isn't to treat them like full auto assault rifles but as pseudo-lmg's. The low rate of fire gives you a long period of fire between reloads. The way to best use them is to park yourself where you have a decent amount of cover that gives you a good field of fire or somewhere that restricts your opponent's movement like a hallway. Spray suppressing fire to make opponents think twice about trying to get to a control zone.
Monte Carlo is S++ tier, it's an absolute stat monster of a 600, and 600 is the sweet spot of fire rates. Getting Swashbuckler, Graverobber, and melee only super wellspring you create a weapon where every facet is pointed in the same direction, and it's such a reliable corner-store for so many builds. It has all the hallmarks of a great utility weapon, but it also feeds itself into lethality. No auto fully compares to its base stats (they might exceed in one stat but will always fail to live up to the full stat line), and the perks reinforce upfront playstyles in a way nothing else does.
Cool drinking game idea, take a shot every time he says clean aesthetic! All jokes aside, great video! Im horrible at crucible but the info helps out a ton, thank you!
Great list! SUROS is *definitely* the best auto rifle currently available IMO. And I don't think Sweet Business really deserves F-Tier, it's definitely at least low-C, but otherwise as a constant auto rifle user this is a good summary. I'm surprised you ranked Tommy's so high. Forward Path should also definitely be B tier, it's a kinetic Summoner IMO.
Big thanks to Bungie for bringing us Chroma Rush, it feels so good to use. The only ranking I would place higher is The Forward Path. Also, you forgot horror story but it's basically a worse version of the Werewolf so oh well.
Favorite legendary: Gnawing Hunger Favorite exotic: Tied with Cerberus and Hard Light Now, y’all have to admit that the Ros Lysis is REALLY good for a blue weapon.
I feel like Age Old bond should be higher. There's a couple innate things about high impacts that are really good in this meta: they can outrange 140s, and cause MASSIVE amounts of flinch. these things throw off snipers and handcannon users due to the sheer flinch at range they just aren't expecting.
Shadow Price and the Number can reach those ranges as well. I found it strange that it was a negative that False Promises couldn't use its range, but a positive that Summoner had Rangefinder that increases its zoom by 10% (16 to 17 basically). In a head to head, even with the increased range from rangefinder, Summoner would be ghosted by 450s and 360s.
Thing that gets me with the age old bond is that I "have" to have another close range weapon when it comes to killing up close, because from far off its so fun to use.
I never understood the complaints about muzzle flash on the forward path. Might be different on PC, but I never even noticed muzzle flash until people started losing their minds about it when it first dropped. I used to use it with dsr and iron grip with a long range scope, so I didn't have any problems with recoil. It was an absolute laser beam for me, and I remember being able to even challenge long lanes like mid in fortress with it back in the auto rifle meta days (which I actually preferred over the hand cannon meta). Forward path and my high cal kill clip galliard got me my first legend rank in comp.
Still, comparing the stats or not, the SMG literally can get to 30ms while the AR can't, I think there's no fast firing AR that can get to 30ms. They need a range buff.
You said that the seventh seraph at is the ak 47 of Destiny. That’s not exactly true. It does look slightly like one, but the gnawing hunter is much closer in appearance to an ak.
Imo Foward Path Should be A tier once you get the right rolls plus after using the gun for an extended period of time you get used to the muzzle flash.
I agree with you list except for the Forward Path c ranking. I got mime during the first banner it was released. It had red dot micro, flared magwell, dynamic sway reduction, iron grip, and a reload master work. That auto is the most consistent and reliable 600 I have ever used and I plaid during the auto rifle meta. To this day I use that gun and have over 28,000 kills with it.
The destiny i play must be completely different than what you play. Every Sweet Business titan i see(myself included) run builds entirely centered around the weapon with overshields, max resilience, bubbles the whole shebang and unless your in a 3+ vs 1 you're almost guaranteed to fully spin up and melt whatever is in your way.
I know sunset weapons are out of the question here. But an auto rifle I still use is Null Calamity 9. Void, 600 RPM. The perks aren't that great, but that gun still hits for par, and I love it. You guys should give it a try if you have it in your collections.
Sweet business I would at least say is C tier. As long as you can get around the low rate of fire i.e. right before jumping around a corner start that spin process and you're winning almost every duel. A key factor in any auto fight is to crouch mid fight to increase your chances if winning that duel. I main with sweet and have almost 13k kills with it
I wanna know where Quicksilver falls on this list both pre/post catalyst. Like it's just a solid gun with ridiculous stabilty and mag size, and the missiles are nice for those times when you just need _one_ more tick of damage to get the kill. And the grenades are fantastic for popping titan bubbles
wonder if you would count Vex Mythoclast because it technically is a 360 Auto Rifle but it is a fusion rifle but when you switch to the charged mode, it's a Linear Fusion (edit: no worries I saw it in the video)
My max range Arctic Haze (Full Bore, Accurised Rounds, Killing Wind, Eye of the Storm, Range MW) melts people at 140 RPM HC distance, no joke. It's been on my inventory since I got it. It's my favourite AR and one of my favourite weapons.
The Summoner is the only gun in the game that has the potential to roll Moving Target and Elemental Capacitor (Stasis), and I haven't seen a review of such a roll since the capacitor change to include stasis was rather recent. At the very least it would be interesting to know if the ADS movement was extremely high, for the sake of future weapons that might get such a roll.
What is that shader you have on that gnawing hunger? So many of the streamers use it and I really like the aesthetic of it. Someone please enlighten me

The point he’s making is that for the current sandbox, why would one use the best ranged auto when u can use a pulse instead for ranged 1v1s?
Hard Lights uses for different elements in pvp
Void - Nezeracs Sin
Arc - Breaking heir apparent
Solar - Firewalker boots on Titan
Also Mantle of battle harmony on any subclass
And also bounties.
I pulled my Misfit outta the vault and have been having a great time with it. So sadge is sunset.
Sweet business “players will wait till you run out of bullets” *laughs in actium war rig*
*Laughs in 400hp stasis tank build with sweet business*
Laughs in 6 stack actium war rig bubble titans.
Tommy's Matchbook is so so good looking that I felt in love with it and practice my butt off to get used to it. It was super worth! One of the most rewarding and fun weapon in pvp!

I have 25,000+ pvp kills on my Suros in destiny 2 after I master worked it
I'd love to see a bow tier list for PVP, really just to see your footage 😂
Seconded!
Thirded
Hardlight changing elements is actually useful. Depending on the maps lighting it has more of a blinding effect. Dark colored maps like titans wormhaven are great for arc and solar
Turned this off once I saw Cerberus is D Tier.
It is A Tier at least!
Specifically cause all the dumb things he placed in B Tier.
The placement of these autos and their Tiers makes no sense.
If you try and user Cerberus against any decent player you will get instantly destroyed lol
Suros was my first exotic and favorite weapon of all time
Monte Carlo is S++ tier, it's an absolute stat monster of a 600, and 600 is the sweet spot of fire rates. Getting Swashbuckler, Graverobber, and melee only super wellspring you create a weapon where every facet is pointed in the same direction, and it's such a reliable corner-store for so many builds. It has all the hallmarks of a great utility weapon, but it also feeds itself into lethality. No auto fully compares to its base stats (they might exceed in one stat but will always fail to live up to the full stat line), and the perks reinforce upfront playstyles in a way nothing else does.
saw chroma rush was S tier, went to my vault to find out if I had one. Found a god roll chroma rush
Wow!!!!!
Chroma Rush and Gnawing Hunger are my two favorites. Been using them super consistently for months haha
Big thanks to Bungie for bringing us Chroma Rush, it feels so good to use. The only ranking I would place higher is The Forward Path. Also, you forgot horror story but it's basically a worse version of the Werewolf so oh well.
the arc logic with surplus on hunter, idk why, feels amazing.
Favorite legendary:
Gnawing Hunger
Favorite exotic:
Tied with Cerberus and Hard Light
Now, y’all have to admit that the Ros Lysis is REALLY good for a blue weapon.
I think I agree, good job. I love my chroma!
More of these plz
Seeing gnawing hunger in s makes me so happy, my main auto rifle since i started playing
Bruh you lost some credibility ranking cerberus like that
One of the worst guns ever
@@115zombies935 1v1 me
Oh wait, you can't, cause I'd be using cerberus - that's like a 5v1
@@Zurrke You’re right, and you would be the 1. It would be cruel to 1v1 a poor Cerberus user, they’re so harmless it would feel wrong to attack them.
@@115zombies935 damn, thought you'd have a better comeback. Kinda just took my thing and tried to run with it. Better luck next time!
@@Zurrke No comeback here, just the truth. Sorry to the Cerberus users out there, I’ll go easy on you all.

How can I get this gun in the current season
@@boyhoodwonder8698 monument to lost lights by the vault in the tower
I actually really like arctic haze, it just feels so good
Rapid fire autos are always fun. Mainly because they feel like SMGs with more range.
I have a PvE roll with Dragonfly and Sway Reduction and it is a good lost sector clear primary
I have Vorpalweapon and Outlaw
i love how you talk about weapons being ok and show clips of absolutely dominating. Goes to show any weapon is viable in the right hands
haha well some guns are a lot easier to get decent clips with. I try to at least have a few entertaining clips per weapon
Can’t really compare the stats of an auto rifle to an smg other than the damage. The range stats are vastly different
Still, comparing the stats or not, the SMG literally can get to 30ms while the AR can't, I think there's no fast firing AR that can get to 30ms.
They need a range buff.
Heh would like to know where you would put Mythoclast now with that buff.
S tier
Pattycakes is the champ
I absolutely love Cerberus+1. Probably my favorite weapon in the game. I just love how ridiculous it is and it's really fun to use.
You said that the seventh seraph at is the ak 47 of Destiny. That’s not exactly true. It does look slightly like one, but the gnawing hunter is much closer in appearance to an ak.
Definitely not
@@115zombies935 Have you ever held an ak?
@@Lochlannach661 Do you have eyes?
@@115zombies935 yes. My grandpa has one and I’ve shot it. Gnawing hunger is way closer proportionally and shape wise to an ak than seventh seraph

Also, Where's Horror Story?
Your channel actually helped me get better at crucible. Keep up the good work!
Imo Foward Path Should be A tier once you get the right rolls plus after using the gun for an extended period of time you get used to the muzzle flash.
Yeah but this list his his opinion, you can make a tier list and put FP A :)
Hehehehehe
Vex Mythoclast is arguably the best gun in the gun rn
I have Chromas Rush with Thresh. Is that a good roll?
For pvp, nah,
Hammer forged/smallbore, accurized, heating up/tunnel vision, kill clip + range mw
For PVE, rampage
I miss Halfdan
The destiny i play must be completely different than what you play. Every Sweet Business titan i see(myself included) run builds entirely centered around the weapon with overshields, max resilience, bubbles the whole shebang and unless your in a 3+ vs 1 you're almost guaranteed to fully spin up and melt whatever is in your way.
Oh this should be fun. If cerberus isn't hi I'm gonna ree
Lol same
I have tap the trigger, rampage, and range masterwork on my gnawing hunger and I love it so much
Finally!
Patty: Starts crapping on Sweet Business.
Also Patty: Is popping of with Sweet Business in the clips.
How do you rate Scathelocke in your list now it’s back? I have a roll with Surplus and Rampage that’s feels really nice
I still own the gnawing hunger with tap the trigger and Kill Clip to this day since I got it on my 3rd roll on Season of Arrivals
My gnawing hunger with zen and rampage is my favorite legendary in Destiny 2. Works great for me in pvp.
I have a great roll on a tigerspite that I love in the crucible! But I would agree that most of the perks leave a lot to be desired
Love the summoner, got Dynamic sway reduction and rangefinder on mine
wonder if you would count Vex Mythoclast because it technically is a 360 Auto Rifle but it is a fusion rifle but when you switch to the charged mode, it's a Linear Fusion (edit: no worries I saw it in the video)
