A lot of hand cannons make or break it by the way it looks when your in combat. Some hand cannons have good stats but if it’s clunky and ugly to shoot it’s a waste of time imo. I think adept pali is still to this day the best looking and feeling hand cannon like I can see everything clearly and the combo of killing wind rangefinder was legendary and I really think bungie will bring it back one day

I really hope that Bungie would bring back Palindrome next season or two. That's definitely in my top 3 most loved HCs ever (alongside OG Igneous and Hawkmoon).
As a 180 rpm fan. Crota and Trust are the best for the energy and epitaph(but a very specific roll) for kinetic. Those 3 are the only ones i'd say are worth it. (Honorable mention is a crafted Ikelos with rampage\tricorn paired with radiant it's very crispy imo)
It was during the visual bug that made you be able to use any weapon model for any weapon so it’s bugged to look like the Dead Man’s Revenge ornament for DMT, his shotgun is also divinity lol
Vulp with Killing Wind and Adagio lets it become a 150 with close to 40m of range with nice stats after a kill. in 6s its pretty good at chaining. For me it's probably the best 180, with maybe Posterity coming in close

Frontier’s Cry with a reload perk and kill clip is actually one of my favorite weapons to pull out when I’m playing iron banner. Works great in a team shot environment. I use one with compulsive reloader for the insane reload speed up to 9 rounds I believe
Feel like you should have went into more detail on why you dislike 180's. I'm going to give you some reasons I like them. #1 - At around 65-70 stability - they have by far the best hand cannon recoil in the game (almost non-existent). In fact, at around that stability - they have top 5 all weapons recoil in the game. #2 - WHILE IN FULL AUTO - they have the best target switching of all semi auto weapons in the game (this goes back to having no recoil). So you can X someone and without pausing your full auto firing - move on to the next target as if you aren't even firing. Most semi's cannot do this. With 180's - there's no resistance. #3 - They are more forgiving for missing shots and missing headshots than any other hand cannon class. Not really #4, but Frontier's Cry can hit 92 range with Iron Reach. And if you have Tunnel Vision on it and get a kill + reload - it can have 92 range and 100 Aim Assist. That lowers it's stability to 29. But 29 stability on a 180 is like 100 stability on a 120.
The only hand cannon that's won me over on the gameplay side of things is True Prophecy itself, actually. Managed to nab two rolls, both of them Overflow but the one I use the most has Timed Payload. Can't really explain why I love it so much, other than it just feels right to use it.
The ones that xur was selling? He sold a overflow explosive payload and its pretty solid tbh the reload speed is so slow that overflow actually has its uses. Ive personally played the game since it came out and remember trying to get world drops from banshee and turning in literally 500 engrams one season and only got 4 rolls of it none that were good so when i seen xur selling that overflow explosive i was so hyped up lol

I get so tired of the 180 slander. While they absolutely aren’t the best HC’s in the game by any means, there’s no way that ALL of them are D tier or below just because of the archetype. A 180 like WoC and Survivor is excellent, and far from a D tier.

I have a combined action with tunnel vision kill clip, max stability roll at 61, only 120 to compete with igneous for me. I'd put it in high B or low A tbh
I got the an adept igneous hammer with the old perk. I would put the old and the new in S tier if you are able to get arrowhead brake on the new one because of the recoil changes the new igneous recoil is to the left and is super bad but if you get the recoil on the new igneous to 100 then you are chilling makes a huge difference imo
Hawkmoon is really good, but not S-tier. To get extra stats you need to already have been in a fight, and the one shot doesn’t happen too often unless you’re way better than everyone else in the lobby. And thorn, although it is my favorite weapon, has super low range, and can only 2 head one body people up close due to low range, and against low resil targets, which is rare in the titan meta. And with smgs being this good, they get to compete at similar ranges. It also has an average mag size and bad stability, plus the exotic kill perk requires you to run at the orb to get it, which you can’t do a lot of times. Next season with catalyst it will definitely be up at A or S tho And I have over 2000 kills on both of these weapons

The DFA is solid A tier for me. The Timed Payload with perpetual motion and max stability is the smoothest hand canon over ever used. I have fragile focus instead of perpetual motion but I personally prefer the high stability over range.

I know it is not meta, but I just got a Steady Hands/Ensemble, Kill Clip Crisis Inverted with Full Bore, Ricochet, Range MW and it has been supremely enjoyable - for a no Trials player.
My brother man really forgot about the world drop of Thin Line void HC. This thing felt great but you had to get the holy roll of Steady Hand, Ricochet rounds, Slideshot and Opening shot. Sits at 65 range and 47 stability at base and when opening shot/ slide shot activate it ramps up to 85/100 range and 77 stability. This thing felt amazing when I last used it before saying goodbye to it for more vault space.
loud lullaby with explosive rounds and surplus would easily sit in a tier if you knew what you were talking about. it feels amazing and competes at further ranges, its also thematically the coolest hand cannon cause it looks like you smacked a goose with it.
I found out recently that I have good aim skill in games with true aim skill And I actually found last word to be really sticky for me personally on mnk and it was a lot of fun. I still say igneous is better but god damn it's such a fun gun on mnk.

Hawkmoon is S tier tbh, kind of hard to put it lower than Ace when Memento Mori gives it less range now. With Hawkmoon, the 1 taps are nice but you can have a 2 tap that you can store with either getting 1 kill or hitting 3 headshots, and getting the mag down to 2 bullets(also longer range than Ace now). You can swap to your special and still keep this, you lose this ability with Ace. If you want to go for the 1 taps, a x7 will 1 shot any1 in their super with a headshot

I would place Austringer and Eyasluna in like A or even S on controller. Zen moment and super high stability is god tier on controller. Other than that Exalted Truth S tier with killing wind / encore combo.

Not gonna lie, True Prophecy feels amazing to me. I get the perk issue but man the model is unobtrusive, the gun feels and sounds crisp, and I got one with opening/explosive, tactical mag, steadyhand hcs, and handling mw from Banshee. It just feels right idk why.
Trust and igneous hammer both in D is kinda crazy. I get 180s are bad without a build, but I would’ve gave them a C just because of solar acrobats builds making them walk around with a .67 ttk from 34 meters. Radiant, damage perk on the weapons, and solar surges make it to where you rarely get into a gunfight without the ability to 3 tap. If all goes well you could even 2 tap. Idk i feel confident against igeous hammer uses. I feel superior if they challenge me after I just got done killing someone.

i think cantata is deserving of B tier since it has suros synergy. That flinch reduction does wonders, that plus handling for just reloading is huge.

My brother man really forgot about the world drop of Thin Line void HC. This thing felt great but you had to get the holy roll of Steady Hand, Ricochet rounds, Slideshot and Opening shot.
Sits at 65 range and 47 stability at base and when opening shot/ slide shot activate it ramps up to 85/100 range and 77 stability. This thing felt amazing when I last used it before saying goodbye to it for more vault space.

Thorn post buff is getting its own tier it’s basically just ace on steroids somehow
loud lullaby with explosive rounds and surplus would easily sit in a tier if you knew what you were talking about. it feels amazing and competes at further ranges, its also thematically the coolest hand cannon cause it looks like you smacked a goose with it.
I found out recently that I have good aim skill in games with true aim skill
And I actually found last word to be really sticky for me personally on mnk and it was a lot of fun. I still say igneous is better but god damn it's such a fun gun on mnk.
There's no true aim skill or skill in d2 aiming.
It's 85% aim assist 15% crosshair placement.
@@fotis3v480 Last word is coded differently. It doesn't hit ghost bullets, it's simply an issue of skill and aim. It's the only gun in the game that doesn't rely off aim assist at all on mnk
its kind of weird but in games and especially in real life I shoot better when I don't aim too much, its almost like feeling the shot.

Hawkmoon is S tier tbh, kind of hard to put it lower than Ace when Memento Mori gives it less range now. With Hawkmoon, the 1 taps are nice but you can have a 2 tap that you can store with either getting 1 kill or hitting 3 headshots, and getting the mag down to 2 bullets(also longer range than Ace now). You can swap to your special and still keep this, you lose this ability with Ace. If you want to go for the 1 taps, a x7 will 1 shot any1 in their super with a headshot

1. The best damage perk in the entire game is Paracausal Affinity, imo
2. Word of Crota (Adept) is by far the best 180 that isn't Malfeasance
I would place Austringer and Eyasluna in like A or even S on controller. Zen moment and super high stability is god tier on controller. Other than that Exalted Truth S tier with killing wind / encore combo.

zaouli's bane is a very strong and probably the best solar hand cannon for PvE. It's basically a mini sun shot.
As a last word user I say that if you always hit headshot it's better then a SMG at close/mid rangem

Not gonna lie, True Prophecy feels amazing to me. I get the perk issue but man the model is unobtrusive, the gun feels and sounds crisp, and I got one with opening/explosive, tactical mag, steadyhand hcs, and handling mw from Banshee. It just feels right idk why.
Trust and igneous hammer both in D is kinda crazy. I get 180s are bad without a build, but I would’ve gave them a C just because of solar acrobats builds making them walk around with a .67 ttk from 34 meters. Radiant, damage perk on the weapons, and solar surges make it to where you rarely get into a gunfight without the ability to 3 tap. If all goes well you could even 2 tap. Idk i feel confident against igeous hammer uses. I feel superior if they challenge me after I just got done killing someone.

They always murder the most skill expressive weapons in the game snipers and hand cannons and we always sway back into special ammo simulator and it's so boring the catering of the pvp sandbox to the worse players is starting to get old

You really shouldn't overlook Moving Target. It's free boost to strafe speed and even better: free aim assistance. Having it it's the equivalent of having 3 targeting mods on your helmet for +10 a.a. although, without the ADS multiplier. By equipping 1 of those, you have +15 a.a. on your weapon and the faster ADS animation.
