    Patreon IS NOT a rip off. It’s a great platform And anyone can learn a lot from it. It’s certainly given me the confidence to attempt my install myself.

      Patreon can become expensive If you want to follow many chanels. But I think it's fair people to get paid for their work and efford for the videos. And especially when you learn valuable lessons from videos. I think there are good and bad channels like there are good and bad installers or everything else out there.

    The owner did a great job. Especially with 2 subs.

    Your content not only teaches the people the right way to approach installs and tuning, but should be raising the bar and paving the way to keep shops honest and on their game with their installs as well.

    Hey Peter, great Job as ussually. This one is very interresting to me because i drive also F series (F34 GT) and wil get to my old Hobby again (mostly thanks to your videos 😀) Combination of those two installs (F31 Touring and 6 - GT) has inspired me to build my daily SQ Driver. Dont be surprised if i contact you one day and make a road trip/vacation to England for some tuning. Thank you very much for your advices and distribution of Knowledge. Greets from Munich!

    Good content! I had an bmw 420 -17 that i did some sound in, and as u said about being an good car for easy installation, u are correct sir!
    I did swap out front system to Focal pnp(did stiffen all the doors), did put in match 7 up, take rca from match amp and u got battery and a factory ground in the boot, cant be much easier than that! Had atleast 10 different subboxes in before got a jl 13w7 ae with a mosconi zero one for 500 Euro 😄

      @suvvx900 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sounds like a good balance of price v performance, we're you impressed with the results? I have just bought the Match 7 dsp and 2ohm underfloor subs to go in my 2 series. Already planning a 10" jl in sealed box with monoblock extension but unsure about which components to go for in the front. Did you rate the focals?

    • @adamstensryd941

      @@suvvx900 Yes i was really impressed with the outcome, i would suggest to spend some time sound deadening the doors, I also did deaden the underseat subboxes and made it an sealed enclosure and made it crossover abit higher (120hz), This i just what i found that was in my likeing so u need to spend some time in the dsp to get it your way, about the front system would i quess most of the brand are pretty decet, i did go with focal because i have focal speakers at home which i like, but u cant go wrong with Audison / Focal / Eton / Black hydra etc, The biggest differet is in dsp settings and the installation.

      @@adamstensryd941 I've got some sound deadening material for the underfloor enclosures. Been having a play with the DSP software today before installing the amp tomorrow.

    I want to build an ib pyramid baffle with 4 subs the same geometric shape as the Giza pyramid. Some claim that the shape has acoustic properties that intermingle with the natural deep tone wave lengths of the earth.
    I'm sure the placebo of the shape will make what I hear "louder".

    Are the OEM locations in a BMW E90 for the drivers good enough for good sound quality?
    To upgrade all drivers of course and amplifier

      They’re pretty good with a Helix DSP amp and our tune on it. No need to chop up everything at all in those cars.

    Hey Peter. I'm looking at the AE SBP15 sub for my 2012 Honda Civic. I was gonna pair it with a Helix P One. Although, for the car, would you recommend one or two subs? I'm a bit concerned with the Xmax and I have my worries about it not giving enough output below 40hz. In terms of output, I'm looking at matching it with a sub10wm and setting close to the ATF curve, which I'm a fan of. Would one be more than sufficient? Or should I get two, since the xmax may be a problem in this car? Thanks!

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  หลายเดือนก่อน

      If it’s installed well in true-IB, then it can match the curve easily with a single, then it’s just the question of how much maxim output capability you want.

    • @Alastasius

      @pssound9749 I was going to do trunk IB, making the vent holes in the trunk bigger to make up for it. Not sure if that impacts your answer.
      Thanks for the input!

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Alastasius if you do trunk IB, then go for 2x15”, no regrets! Don’t worry about making the vents bigger to the exterior, that actually turns the trunk into a ported application and the pressure will play outside of the car at those frequencies where the vents act like ports. Rather block one of the ports and leave the other one available, just take the rubber flaps out and replace them with rainguard foam.

      @pssound9749 Go big or go home, eh? Love it! I guess if I had a final question, what ohm would you make these subs to be if I'm going to be running them into a Helix P One? Pretty much of difference of damping factor and wattage and heat, but I've been hearing that these subs are quite efficient anyway?
      Thanks again for the input, Peter! 😃

    Did anyone test front sub in the foot either closer to the center concose or closer to the edge of the car?

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is not a big difference, but if you want a technically more correct staging, then you may want to put it closer to the middle of the car.

      @@pssound9749 this is what I usually see in installs. In my case, I've cut the metal in the kick area and want to build a sealed enclosure and dive the magnet a little, to reduce the space. The previous attempt on using the kick area itself failed.
