It's so nice to see you embracing i.b. setups instead of talking smack about it like so many people do. When I was a teenager I propped a pair of 6×9s between the seat and the cab of my dad's 69 Chevy pickup. No boxes no tuning no dsp's..just pure sound and good music surrounding the entire cab..what a great time those days were.

30 years ago many guys had IB subwoofer setups in their cars in the states. Commonly 4 12 inch subs. Kicker made a "free- air" model. Nothing but truck rattle! Thanks for sound deadening material these days. If the bolt holes line-up happy days. Infrasubs like ficar do miss some sounds, but earthquake tones are pronounced. We imagine these last subs will be great. If you keep them for more than 5 years you've done well.

I just swapped out my 12 inch sub for my AE TD15H sunday night to see what it would be like. SO far I am extremely happy. So fast, and goes very low. It's just in a prefab ported box atm, so I definitely need to start a fresh box build. I had a couple of questions about that if I can run them by you Peter? I know you get too many questions, but your knowledge is a huge help. I've been practicing DIY car audio for several years and even worked in a real shop for a few years, but I've learned more from you in the last year from your vids than I have in the previous 5 years from all other sources combined I think. Thanks for that.

Your videos are so good that I'm using it as an example for a lot of people that thinks that good sound systems is the ones that play loud without the flat frequency response.
Imagine everybody with your mentality of using speakers focused on sound quality and then try to gain SPL still with better frequency response!
It would be another world of music to live!
And the best part, a lot of people would not have tinnitus.

Goodness, the home sub looks wicked with that, phase plug (???)! I was actually going to talk to you about up front car audio subs playing into the upper 2khz range since it would be say, installed on the transmission hump and not behind me.
How would this work out with a single mono 12in sub playing that high with the L6SE's and L2SE's?

Thanks for that, and it's good for people to see it, but people will do whatever they want any way

eduardo batista yeah those who have zero experience and don’t know what T/S parameters are for, they may do what they want, but i clearly stated that these are IB subs and also mentioned to check the IB playlists to learn what this application is about. So if it’s not clear for you yet either, please check those IB playlist! 🙏

I was looking at an older version of zapco with the bluetooth , wow they are powerful and very clean, my friend bought one, I'm shocked that for a d class ,its awesome for sq, and the power is crazy , it's the zapco st105d, they dont make them like that any more, also the dc series all have integrated dsp, not like a stand alone, but great also , that zapco with the 8 channel and dsp, the one you used on the Audi tt, great to use two of those in a complete system, they use hardly any space, but the internals of the st 105d are crazy, specially in a system were it wont be pushed will have so much transparency and dynamics, any good known speakers will sound awesome, for you is different you compete so you need the best, but for us we're getting the best with just upgrading the junk the factory puts in our cars.
