    Bobby built the Raiden truck, 4 B2 Horns and 4 B2 3.5"s per pillar.
    I was lucky enough to be flown out to tune that beast! Fantastic build.

    The guys a man after my own heart, crazy sub build with SQ front stage.☺That window for the long port is genius. I'd imagine having the port on the same plane as the subs is helping a lot with group delay. Man, this makes me wanna sell my box, and do a rebuild. I miss those windy lows from my old wall build...shame the truck had to go back to it's intended purpose.😄

    Yeah, they actually make a sb21 tweeter
    .75in now which is even smaller and is one of the home audio guys favorite budget tweeters. They have very smooth response and are unmatched for the value.

    Nice to see some Scanspeak units being used. I've been using the 10M (automotive equivalents) for some time now. As mentioned, in a normal SQ system these can be crossed over at 200Hz but the system in this video is just something else.

      Agree, my 10F runs down to 170hz and loud with Front Kicks and Frontsub

      The 12mu’s are my current favorite mids out of dozens I’ve tested.

    Pete where do you have those tweets crossed at? Back in the day I ran mine crossed at 2k. They were loud but passenger side on axis really beamed at my right ear. Didn’t have much tuning capability tho. Awesome install!!!!!!

    I have a question about up grading power in a 2016 Audi A7 c7.5. I hear that up grading the alt or using yinlong lithium cells cause problematic issues is this true?

    24hz tune?! how?
    getting low tunes on big subs, AND getting them to fit inside a trunk is a big challenge because the port length starts to get ridiculously huge.....i struggled with 28hz....24 is kinda impressive
    congrats on the build, looks nice....ill bet it sounds really musical
    huge FI subs in small box tuned low with necessarily huge amps FTW

      The subs are FI AUDIO? I thought by the neos in circular formation it might be but the dustcaps were throwing me off...

    • @GMR_Works
      @GMR_Works ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, those are Fi NEO 4.11

      @ecpruthless thank you very much!😊
      Challenging indeed but possible. It sound incredible to me! Those Fi subs have very low inductance for such a high gauss neo motor. Fast and accurate and i enjoy rock music too. They play great everything😊

  • @allenavery2789
    @allenavery2789 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Am I correct these are the FI subs? Dustcaps I couldn't see....and the gentleman who owns the vehicle has a bit of a thicker accent I couldn't understand anything but "Zed" which I know is "Z"...

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Can someone please explain how the 4” on the pillar can get loud with a 30w rms rating? I know sensitivity matters but surely not when they’re only a 30w rating? Please don’t ridicule me, just trying to learn😂

    • @MrMaxwood
      @MrMaxwood ปีที่แล้ว

      Good question I'll definitely be looking for a reply to this question 🤔

    • @kenankamaric4252
      @kenankamaric4252 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      this is a reply to both you, basically speaker sensitivity is converting energy into acoustic sound efficiently, generally good speaker sensitivity has very little heat production due to speaker being very efficient in converting energy into acoustic sound, but with very low speaker sensitivity you'll generate more heat than usual, will require more power to create same acoustic sound as a speaker with high sensitivity. hence why it takes very little power for those 4" speakers to get loud because they are super duper efficient and dont waste any of the power

    • @pssound9749
      @pssound9749  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      30W power rating is given for full range use. Once you apply the correct HPF, they can take plenty of power. Also, a fully active system draws way less in high-mid frequency range, than in midbass and sub-bass. You’ll definitely loose your hearing with these pillars if you play them full tilt for longer than 15mins….unless it doesn’t matter anymore.
