I hope you come to detroit soon where I live I can show you everything if you needed help. I mean I doubt you need help but if u do want it and ya come to detroit.. I'll show you the real detroit and the beauty of it.
Adam they should make a real feature length film about you and all your adventures man you would totally be the vote from me as the best documentary film of the year. You do the best vlogs and you keep your followers glued to their screens.
Adam, we want more of this. These are the types of videos we know and love. Great video and I cannot wait for the next one, my favourite channel on youtubes.
me and my family have been there good to see you went there we thoght it was so cool ofcourse we havent done the tour at night YET thanks for everything and everywhere you go ..,Debbie from Chattanooga tn.
Adam, you should do more videos on abandoned places, especially amusement parks in fact clips like this were how I got to find you all the way back in June 2013 with that Land of Oz video that you did 2 years before then (also I'd like to see a video on the filming locations of Back to the Future Part 3)
Great to see u enjoying Tennessee again. I had been in Brushy Mountain prison when it was operating to visit an inmate. The lunch room was suppose to be haunted because of a murder committed in it. I remember all the iron gates we went through to get to the visitors room too. Great video.
Great artwork, remember this place from when the carpetbagger vlogged it before, still a great visit, I can see the back packer in the paint peel, well spotted
Wow Adam! 30 minutes from my house! Been following your journeys for about 7 years. I have since moved to TN from GA to help my father in law. You should check out the town of Harriman a Victorian town that tried to escape the "Demon Rum". The houses are amazing! Love the Woo!
A group of us are going to go here soon. I was able to meet James Earl Ray briefly while a family member was incarcerated back in the early 90s. I was very young and he seemed real nice. I didn't know what he did at that time.
Another awesome video from Adam thank you again I live about 30 minutes from this place. All ways like to see your good friends they are awesome as well.Thank you!
@6:42, you called it so well! Not too many of us notice things like that these days. Thanks for giving it a mention & visuals! Edit: Did you leave the Los Angeles area for good?
I'm sure you have heard of the Barkley Marathon. It is run around Frozen Head State Park and the race goes under the prison. I know that sounds nuts, but it is like a 100 mile endurance race every year.
Interesting place, kinda creepy... Probably was even scarier when it was populated! Of course the place closed because it had such terrible CELL service...
Havent watched Adams new videos in months; there hasn’t been anything im interested in. Then I saw the title for this and I said “now THAT sounds cool! Gonna watch it. “ lol
Wow. That was so amazing. Thanks for the history, I never knew James Earl Ray escaped. And I appreciate that it wasn't a "haunted" vlog. Yea, gotta say, I couldn't do it and be there at night lol. But it was great to just see the place and learn something. Going to Carpet Bagger now lol. Thank you so much for sharing. Loved it.
ray escaped from here and was caught 3 days later in the mountains. after 3 days trying to get out of the wilderness he said he was kinda glad to go back
Have seen other you tubers here, but like yours the best Adam, ..will have to check this prison out..looks interesting. Thanx for another amazing vlog..
So, I have one of Tim Crosses paintings in my house and my grandpa was a guard at the prison when James Earl Ray was there and helped look for him when he escaped
That's some pretty interesting movement at 3:24. Slow down the viewing speed to 0.5 and you will see it much better. Select speed under the settings option in the lower right corner of the screen and change the speed from normal to 0.5. I have a couple of ghosts at my house and this is the kind of movement I will often see. You can also hear a voice at 3:24. I think it's a female saying "Who is this?!" Looking through the open gate, down the hallway to the right appears to be a lighter colored wall. On the wall is a dark square, probably an electrical box with a dark line coming down from the ceiling to meet it, likely then electrical piping. Focus on that dark square between 3:23 to 3:26. At first the square is clearly visible, but at 3:24 something transparent moves in front of the square. The square becomes much darker, but it's still visible. The shadow then moves quickly out of sight to the left on the other side of the bars you see there to the left of the open gate. It moves at a pretty good rate of speed. I see more movement in the same area from right to left between 3:25 to 3:26. If I was there myself and saw that I would check to see if the lighting created an illusion, but there's a voice that sounds nothing like any of their's that is asking "Who is this?!" There are several EVPs also captured throughout the video making the movement even more compelling. I'll think you'll find those EVPs pretty interesting. Everyone there seems pretty friendly for it being a prison. Hey, I guess you can say that this video was brought to you by Adam the Boo.
Hey Adam, this is such a cool vlog. I enjoyed watching it I always learn interesting facts and cool tidbits of information and I always love the humor that you add in. TN is such a great state to visit especially the Gatlinburg and Chattanooga areas. Always love what you do. ❤️ I’m still hopeful I’m going to get to meet you one day.
I transferred a prisoner on an inmate transfer for his mothers funeral and had to drop him off there overnight while I was working in corrections. That place is truly a scary looking place. Thanks for upload
Brushy Mountain didn't have a death row. That was D block which was maximum security which was later moved to the grey building behind D block. The prison in Nashville sent the electric chair to Brushy for a short period of time in the event a execution needed to be performed while repairs and renovations were being performed at the Nashville prison, however, that service was never needed and was sent back to Nashville once repairs and renovations were completed.

Yesssss, I’ve been anticipating a nighttime scary explore! I can’t wait to get you and Jordan’s colab shirt! 👍🏽😊
RIP Sandy and Little Red, the bloodhounds who sniffed out James Earl Ray as he hid in leaves and mud after his escape from Brushy was
He only made it about 8 miles. hahaha sucker!
The mountains are very sheer and dense with foliage!
