I've been there, About 20 years ago, I was with a group, like scouts called pathfinders and we spent the night in the cave, we had a guide that took us all around in the cave during the night, Didn't sleep much that night, It was quite awesome and we saw the area that the regular tourists do not see, I would say we spent 6 hours and never hit the same trail twice!
@Gloria Sheppard because they stock the fish and tag the fish, and they can't reproduce in there (as said by the tour guides), and they do not leave because they get fed so often - so I imagine they just keep inventory.
I went here when i was very young on vacation. Thank you for the memory of my parents being young and my mom who has passed away. It was such a fun vacation and you brought back many memories!

My uncle died in an accident in the cave when they were making it a tour destination. It’s really a neat place to go. Also they do overnight tours! Hope you come back to our neck of the woods soon and see our other natural wonders!
Hey I live near Sweetwater, TN. I live about 45 minutes away from Knoxville in Clinton, TN. Nice to see you in my neck of the woods in today's video Adam. Welcome!
Visited there over 30 yrs ago on my honeymoon. They had glass bottom boats then and you could see the fish swimming underneath the boat. Glad to see it is still going. Thx for sharing!
Great video!!! Have been here a few times myself: once as a kid in the 1970s and twice in the 2000s. Last visit was about 5 years ago. THANKS!!! for the memories.
I toured Lost Sea back in the 70’s with my boyscout troup. Was totally amazed. I seemed to remember that the boat was glass bottemed then and the trout were Albinos. We spent the night in a nearby cave that they used to make moonshine in. Best. Trip. Ever.
We moved back to East Tennessee last year and we live about 4 miles from The Lost Sea. Fun fact, the cops sit there at the entrance at night to catch speeders. I work 3rd shift and see them there quite frequently. Again, I missed Adam the Woo...lol
WOW. ADAM THE WOO GONE ON ADVENTURES FOR YOU. We stopped there on vacation in the early 1980s and it was mesmerizing to me as a kid. Been a big fan for a while now. Keep up the awesome work.
Great to see you back in Tennessee! My family has always enjoyed your Gatlinburg area videos. We just watched three of them last night. Safe travels, my friend!
I lived here for the first 20 years of my life and i always looked back on the lost sea as a fun time, middle school, high school, even taking the wild tour, the natural caving entrance located around the back, this video brings me back good memories and i thank you for it
hell i actually remember it during the droubt and the lake, the bridge and the boat rides were closed since it sat so low, and during too much rain it over floode the bridge and they had to recover like 6 of the boats that got suck cause they were tied down too low!!
someone give that tour guide a job as a cartoon voice actor, I went through this cave like 30 yrs ago, I remember that bright yellow tunnel pretty well and that stalagmite at the end too.
That video bomber lol I visited TLSA once a few years back but I missed that old train, which I think is very cool. Shelby is an awesome tour guide, I enjoyed her enthusiasm and humor.
If you're in TN still. The Cumberland Caverns was a cool experience. They have various levels of tours, separated by how brave you want to get. From a walking tour, to a 3 hour excursion that has you crawling through holes to get to an underground waterfall; was a really cool trip. Worth checking out

I was there in 1967 and it was just a plain empty area. No old buildings or picnic area. Just one booth where you stood in line to be guided on a tour. That moonshine still was inside the cave at the time and also there was NO lighted areas inside the cave! Our guide used his flashlight to guide our way! How different it is today.
13:15 - Oh, thank God! A much calmer tour guide! Not that the girl was bad, she just talked so fast it made my head spin!
Agree, I had to fast forward.
I had trouble understanding a lot of what she said.
I agree I would hate to know I paid to have to hear that.
Geez, she was a little annoying.😣
She has it all memorized and she is going as fast as she can to get it over with.

I actually started singing that when I was there last year. Only got a few chuckles, sadly.
I thought of Willy Wonka the moment they started walking down that yellow tunnel.😃
I legit whistled this song when I went on that boat ride, but I do that on any dark boat ride like at theme parks
Is it raining? Is it pouring?
When I went in 1973 they had glass bottom boats and the lake had Blind albino cave fish in it!
The same with me in the mid 90s
I was there in 1978. I remember the glass bottom boats and albino fish!! I wonder why they don't have those boats anymore.
1973!!
Same.
I went in the early 2000s and they had a sliver of it glass but not all! It scared the crap out of me
The only thing I remember is the yellow tunnels, and the boat ride. I was very young in the 70's I just barely remember this trip.

@Gloria Sheppard because they stock the fish and tag the fish, and they can't reproduce in there (as said by the tour guides), and they do not leave because they get fed so often - so I imagine they just keep inventory.
More like. Imagine being married to her and listening to her voice for more than this one hour ish tour. Ughh😂
