The Sport Touring has soft touch materials on the doors as well as higher quality plastics. The vent adjustment knobs are not cheap. They are very high quality and I doubt they would break easily. I’ve been enjoying my Sport Touring hatch for a couple of weeks now.
the first video on youtube doing a quick review on this model with a manual, im glad you enjoyed it because i couldnt find no one with this vehicle. which i did order this model with the manual in the dark grey we have in canada, the msrp in canada is 32,250 i believe and the top trim sport touring is 37000.
@@Imleocalm I'm glad to hear about that. I have to wait 2 more months. And I almost gave it up for a Jetta GLI in a manual..... But we all know Honda's much more reliable. Kinda getting antsy and don't want to wait ....
Bought one last week. Same color. Love it. Dealer offered us $1,000 cash to walk away from the price we pre negotiated. Why? He was going to sell it for $5k above MSRP. No thanks.
Good video! I just picked up the Hatchback sport touring. New video is up. The interior is very nice. Wish I got stick, but automatic works well for wifey.
Pleased to finally locate a review of the civic sport, 2.0 N.A. engine, with the 6 MT. Thank You, for providing commentary on how the clutch and gear box felt during the test drive! I have one on order. Best Wishes!
Hey thanks for the Video, the interrior looks sooo much better, love the mix of retro and modern style, most important manual gear and real buttons in the center Console. 🤩 Just saw the SI version which is amazing with the red stitchings, but my choice will be the Type R. 💪
that dealer wants your 2017 because the resale prices he will get are insane right now..Plus he is probably tacking on a few thousand onto your new 2022 Civic hatch because they are soo rare..
Been looking at one of these as well and we’re finally getting 1 in next month but it’s in Smokey Mauve Pearl and there are ZERO pictures of the color other then if you build one on the Honda website which doesn’t show the true color… making for a very hard decision given people are buying the cars up before they even arrive here
The new hatchback looks good I had the option of buying a hatchback in boost blue, but I’m holding out for the Civic Si that’s coming out at the end of the year.
this is exactly what I want but just in black. Man I was excited for the new Si but since they didn't make it a hatch I may go this route. And the 2.0 liter non-turbo is the way to go IMO. I want to hear that VTEC.
@@Imleocalm Trying to let go of my old school thought process for a Honda. I just want an all motor but that's less of a reality nowadays. Yeah the 158hp is low for sure.
Whats your opinion of the 1.5L Turbo vs this 2.0L NA? I want a white hatch of the 1.5L, but you seem over the moon on this one. Manual is the only way to go.
Manual is "the way". I'd say the turbo is also. The 2.0 will be unbearably slow although fun to drive. The turbo wil make the driving experience much better than this one I drove. Thanks for watching! 😁
@@Imleocalm I'm in Massachusetts, nothing available in this area yet. Talked to my local dealer about ordering a Sport trim with the manual, they want $3K over MSRP if you want one. What thieves.

I just cant like this ride man. Honda cut the balls off. The hatchbacks your cars style look like fighter jets, and these look like damn camrys. lol great video man.
This is the first review I've seen for the Sport trim, thank you! How was the power? I'm looking for a manual hatch with decent power for commuting. I'm currently driving a heavy 200hp sedan, so I don't need or want a turbo, but I would like some decent power. Would you say it is a good transmission to learn on as well?
@@Imleocalm awesome, thanks for responding! It's got a similar weight to power ratio to my current ride so I'm hoping it'll be enough for me. Only one way to find out! Thanks for the review.
The only thing I saw that was wrong with the back end of that car was the ridiculous looking dealership Logo plastered there. It just ruins the look. Does that crap come off?
@@Imleocalm Thanks for the reply. I had to look around to make sure you were addressing me. I don't see that here in CA. Unless it's out of state auto. Drives me nuts. I want to spray paint my name or the dealership.

Yessir!
That's a good-looking car. I love that color.
LOOOVEE the color.!
For sure! 🤣
Finally found a video of a hatchback that’s a sport and manual of the car I’m looking for. Great content man
I thought to Msrp for the manual civic hatchback was $24,450k? Is $26k in total or without the fees such as delivery and etc
Thanks! Much appreciated. It was $26,100 with delivery before tax title and dealer fees. Thanks for watching! 😁
